Abstract

The four side walls (2,3) at right angles to the base each have a top half staggered outwards in relation to the bottom half. The side walls' top rim is formed by an outward pointing flange (7). The two side wall halves (2A,3A) contain outward bulges (14) holding support-feet (8) positioned in the lower side wall halves (2B,3B) beneath the bulges. Above the bulges are breaks in the flanged rim. The bulges in one side wall are staggered in position in relation to the outer side wall. The outer edges of the bottom ends of the feet have protruding lugs (11) which fit into cavities or holes (12) in the flanged rim when stacked on top of one another. The feet are formed by ridges (9,13) on the outside of the lower crate half and joined by a ridge (10) parallel with the base.
