Bei einem Absturz wird der Fangstoß über den Bolzen auf die Oberseite der Dämpfungselemente geleitet und werden die beiden Dämpfungselemente komprimiert, wodurch der Fangstoß abgemildert wird. beim Besteigen einer Leiter nach oben gezogen, so läuft der
Rücken 9 der Nase 8 von unten gegen die Fangrasten und wird
aufgrund seiner Abschrägung zurückgedrückt, so daß die
Fangrasten überfahren werden. Da der zapfenförmige Ansatz 11
nach unten zeigt und deutlich unterhalb des Zapfenlagers 7
liegt, taucht die Nase 8 in den Schlitten 1 ein, wenn über
den Fanggurt und den Schäkelring 15 ein nach oben gerichteter
Zug auf den zapfenförmigen Ansatz 11 ausgeübt wird. Beim
Abwärtssteigen wird dagegen ein Zug nach unten auf den Ansatz
11 ausgeübt, der zusätzlich zur Wirkung der Druckfeder
10 die Sperrklinke 6 von dem Schlitten 1 hervorstehen läßt.
Beim Abwärtssteigen muß zum Überfahren der Fangrasten die
Sperrklinke 6 gegen die Federkraft der Feder 10 verschwenkt
werden. Diese Verschwenkung kann von Hand oder durch leichtes,
nicht unbedingt permanentes Zurücklehnen beim Abwärtssteigen
erfolgen. Es ist auch bekannt, dazu eine Entarretierungseinrichtung
vorzusehen.The
Die Sperrklinke 6 ragt aus der schlitzförmigen Durchbrechung
5 auch nach hinten, d.h. zum Benutzer hin hervor und ist
dort mit einem zapfenförmigen Ansatz 11 versehen. Auf dem
zapfenförmigen Ansatz ist ein Dämpfungselement 12 angeordnet,
das mit einer Sicherungsmutter 13 gehalten ist. Über
dem Dämpfungselement 12, d.h. zwischen Dämpfungselement 12
und dem Schlitten 1 sitzt auf dem Ansatz 11 ein Wirbel oder
Querstück 14, das in der Mitte eine Öse zur Aufnahme des
Ansatzes 11 aufweist. Zum Schutz des Dämpfungselements 12
ist zwischen diesem und dem Querstück 14 eine Unterlegscheibe
19 eingelegt. Über dem Querstück ist eine Anschlagscheibe
20 fest angeordnet. Die beiden seitlichen Enden des
Querstücks 14 sind als Achsschenkel eines Schäkelrings 15
ausgebildet, wobei die beiden Ösen 16 an den Enden des Schäkelbügels
17 auf den Achsschenkeln sitzen. An dem Schäkelbügel
17 wird mittels eines Karabiners 18 der Fanggurt des
Sicherheits- oder Rettungsgeschirrs des Benutzers eingehängt.The
