Claims (13)

  1. Überwachungsvorrichtung zur Wirkverbindung mit einem Beatmungsgerät, das einen Behälter mit unter Druck stehendem Beatmungsgas aufweist, wobei sowohl die Überwachungsvorrichtung als auch das Beatmungsgerät von einem Benutzer getragen werden, wobei die Vorrichtung folgendes aufweist:
    einen Drucksensor (51) zum Detektieren des Gasdruckes im Behälter,
    einen Bewegungssensor (57) zum Erfassen der Bewegung des Benutzers, und
    Alarmmittel (63), die sowohl mit dem Drucksensor (51) als auch mit dem Bewegungssensor (57) verbunden und dafür ausgelegt sind, ein Signal einer ersten Art zu erzeugen, wenn der Druck im Behälter unterhalb eines vorgegebenen Wertes liegt, und ein Signal einer zweiten Art, wenn keine Bewegung des Benutzers nach einer vorgegebenen Zeitperiode detektiert wird, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Vorrichtung des Weiteren Leckdetektierungsmittel beinhaltet, um einen Austritt von Gas aus dem Behälter zu detektieren, wobei die Leckdetektierungsmittel dafür angepasst sind, bei der Verwendung den vom Drucksensor gemessenen Druck in bestimmten Zeitabständen zu vergleichen.
  2. Überwachungsvorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Alarmmittel (63) dafür ausgelegt sind, eine Folge von Signalen der ersten Art zu erzeugen, wenn der Druck im Behälter bei der Verwendung abfällt, wobei jedes Signal erzeugt wird, nachdem ein vorgegebener Druckabfall seit dem vorhergehenden Signal in der Folge aufgetreten ist.
  3. Überwachungsvorrichtung nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Drucksensor (51) bei Abfall des Druckes im Behälter auf ein vorgegebenes Niveau bewirkt, dass der Alarm ein Signal erzeugt, um dem Benutzer anzuzeigen, dass er sich in einen sicheren Bereich begeben soll.
  4. Überwachungsvorrichtung nach einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Signale der ersten und der zweiten Art hörbare Signale verschiedener Frequenzen sind.
  5. Überwachungsvorrichtung nach einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Drucksensor (51) in Wirkverbindung mit einer Anzeige (59) steht, die eine sichtbare Anzeige des Gasdrucks im Behälter liefert.
  6. Überwachungsvorrichtung nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sie Mittel zum Aktivieren der Alarmmittel (63) aufweist, um den Benutzer zu veranlassen, die Anzeige (59) zu lesen, wenn der vom Drucksensor detektierte Druck unter ein vorgegebenes Warnniveau fällt.
  7. Überwachunsvorrichtung nach einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sie ein Mittel (61, 64) zum manuellen Aktivieren des Alarms aufweist, um ein Signal der zweiten Art zu erzeugen.
  8. Überwachungsvorrichtung nach einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sie einen Temperatursensor und eine Anzeige (59) zur Darstellung der Temperatur aufweist.
  9. Überwachungsvorrichtung nach Anspruch 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sie ein Mittel zum Betätigen der Alarmmittel aufweist, um den Benutzer dazu zu veranlassen, die Anzeige zu verbinden, wenn die vom Temperatursensor gemessene Temperatur einen vorgegebenen Wert überschreitet.
  10. Überwachungsvorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sie einen Empfänger (55) zum Empfangen neuer Werte für den vorgegebenen Druckwert und die vorgegebene Zeit und ein Speichermittel zum Speichern der neuen Werte aufweist.
  11. Überwachungsvorrichtung nach Anspruch 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sie einen Sender aufweist, durch den ein von einem Sensor gemessener Wert an einen externen Platz übertragen werden kann.
  12. Überwachungsvorrichtung nach Anspruch 11, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Empfänger (55) ein Infra-Rot-Empfänger und der Sender ein Infra-Rot-Sender sind.
  13. Überwachungsvorrichtung nach einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sie
       eine erste Einheit (71), die den Drucksensor beinhaltet, und
       eine zweiten Einheit (51, 52) aufweist, die die Alarmmittel (63), den Bewegungssensor (57), die notwendigen Schnittstellenfunktionen und die zugeordneten Schaltungen umfasst,
       wobei die beiden Einheiten miteinander in Wirkverbindung stehen.
