Definitions
- the invention relates to a formwork of the type explained in the preamble of claim 1.
- Such formwork is known for example from DE-GM 92 03 275.
- the known formwork is used to formwork a connection surface between a first and a second concreting section when concreting a wall.
- the formwork contains a formwork wall remaining in the concrete made of an expanded metal panel that was welded between the cross and longitudinal bars of a latticework.
- the formwork wall does not extend across the entire width of the connection surface but ends at a distance on both sides from the side surface formwork. This distance corresponds approximately to the distance in which a reinforcement from a reinforcement mat is arranged to the side surface formwork.
- the longitudinal bars of the reinforcement mat are pressed into the edge areas of the formwork wall, where they deform the expanded metal, so that the reinforcement mat is fixed in its position for the subsequent connection surface.
- the distance between the reinforcement and the side surface formwork is then bridged by a conventional concrete cover strip.
- the known formwork is still in need of improvement. For example, the reinforcement when building the formwork must be held until the concrete cover strip is installed.
- a comb-like reinforcing plate is described in US Pat. No. 3,454,255 as part of an otherwise made of cardboard formwork wall, which must be removed again after concreting.
- the reinforcing bars extending through the connection surface are pushed through the cardboard wall and are only held in their predetermined position by the cardboard wall.
- the openings on one side that are open between the comb-like projecting parts of the reinforcement plate are, however, much too large and are kept at all distances from the reinforcement bars, so that the reinforcement plate cannot serve as a support for the reinforcement.
- GB-A-1 568 690 describes a formwork consisting of a plurality of formwork boards, in which grooves for incorporating reinforcements are incorporated. After the formwork has been erected, the grooves are covered by sheets of flexible material, each sheet containing a hole with a diameter of the corresponding reinforcing bar and a slot which ensures access to the hole. The sheets must then be attached to the formwork boards around the reinforcing bars.
- Formwork boxes are also known, for example from DE-A-32 11 563 and EP-A-55 321, which are used instead of the formwork.
- the formwork boxes have lids with side cutouts through which reinforcements can be carried out. Due to the box-shaped design, only bow-shaped reinforcements can be held with the formwork boxes.
- the invention is therefore based on the object of developing a formwork of the type mentioned in such a way that a secure fastening of the reinforcement is achieved even during the construction of the formwork in a simple and inexpensive manner.
- the formwork aid according to the invention can be used in connection with any conventional formwork without having to make any changes to the formwork.
- the additional use of the formwork aid means that no changes need to be made at the edge of the formwork wall in order to be able to attach the reinforcement.
- formwork aids with different distances between the openings can be kept in stock, so that any reinforcement task, in particular different distances between the reinforcement bars, can be taken into account in a simple manner, without changes to the formwork wall itself having to be made. Rather, the reinforcement lies on (in the case of a concrete wall) or on (in the case of a concrete slab) the lateral or upper edge of the formwork wall and is supported in only one direction by the formwork wall.
- the formwork aid ensures that the rest of the reinforcement is secured.
- the formwork aid reinforces the edge area of the formwork wall, so that even with a higher pressure on the reinforcement bars, the distance between the reinforcement bars does not change significantly.
- a formwork aid 1 can be seen in perspective, which consists of a handle bar 2 made of metal and a plurality of pieces of formwork material 3 protruding from the handle bar 2.
- the handle bar 2 extends over a length which expediently corresponds to the length of conventional formwork walls, but can also be shorter in order to improve handling.
- the formwork material pieces 3 are essentially rectangular and are spaced apart from one another by an opening 4, the opening extending in the same width from the free edges 3a of the formwork material pieces 3 to the grip strip 2.
- the formwork material of the formwork material pieces 3 consists of an expanded metal plate 5, which was welded between cross bars 6 and longitudinal bars 7 arranged in a grid-like manner.
- the formwork material is described in EP-PS 507 054, which is hereby incorporated by reference.
- the transverse and longitudinal rods 6, 7 are arranged such that there is a longitudinal rod 7 on the free edge 3a and one of the transverse rods 6 on a lateral edge 3b, which delimits the opening 4. In this way, a stiffened construction is achieved.
- the length of the formwork material pieces along the free edge 3a corresponds to the desired distance between reinforcing bars.
- the width of each of the openings 4 in the extension of the free edges 3a corresponds approximately to the diameter of the reinforcing bars.
- the depth of the openings 4, ie the width of the formwork material pieces 3 in the direction of the second free edge 3b corresponds to the desired or constructively possible degree of overlap of the formwork aid 1 with the edges of a conventional formwork, as will be described below.
- FIG. 2 The use of the formwork aid 1 according to the invention is described in FIG. 2 on the basis of its use for shuttering a connecting surface 8 of a base plate.
- a conventional formwork 9 is constructed, which consists of the two-sided surface formwork 9a and a bottom formwork 9b of conventional formwork boards and a formwork wall 9c, which is designed in the form of the connecting surface 8.
- the formwork wall 9c consists of the material also used for the formwork material pieces 3, i.e. from an expanded metal sheet that is welded between the cross and longitudinal bars of a latticework.
- the width of the formwork wall 9c is such that its upper edge 10 ends at a distance from the upper edge 11 of the lateral surface formwork 9a.
- a reinforcement 12 is placed on the upper edge 10 of the formwork wall 9c and extends essentially parallel to the bottom formwork 9b.
- the reinforcement 12 consists of longitudinal bars which extend through the connecting surface 8 and are held at a predetermined distance from the floor formwork 9b by the upper edge 10 of the formwork wall 9c.
- the reinforcement 12 is pressed against the edge 10 by a formwork aid 1.
- the comb-like formwork aid 1 is inserted from the outside over the longitudinal bars of the reinforcement 12 and connected, for example bridged, to the edge 10 of the formwork wall 9c in the overlap area. As a result, the reinforcement 12 is held securely at the edge 10.
- the remaining distance between the reinforcement 12 and the upper edge 10 of the surface formwork 9a is bridged in the usual way with a concrete cover strip 13 made of wood.
- the first concreting section 14 is then poured, the formwork wall and formwork aid being embedded in the connecting surface 8.
- the formwork aid 1 according to the invention can also be used to form a connection surface of a wall or the like inserted into the openings 4 of the comb-like formwork aid and this is then pushed together with the reinforcement onto the edge region of the formwork wall and is fixed there.
- the formwork aid according to the invention can also be used if a mesh mat is used for reinforcement instead of longitudinal bars.
- Both the formwork material pieces of the formwork aid and the formwork material of the formwork wall can be any other conventional formwork material.
- a handle bar or the like can be provided instead of the handle bar.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a formwork of the type explained in the preamble of
Such formwork is known for example from DE-GM 92 03 275. The known formwork is used to formwork a connection surface between a first and a second concreting section when concreting a wall. The formwork contains a formwork wall remaining in the concrete made of an expanded metal panel that was welded between the cross and longitudinal bars of a latticework. The formwork wall does not extend across the entire width of the connection surface but ends at a distance on both sides from the side surface formwork. This distance corresponds approximately to the distance in which a reinforcement from a reinforcement mat is arranged to the side surface formwork. In order to hold the reinforcement in place, the longitudinal bars of the reinforcement mat are pressed into the edge areas of the formwork wall, where they deform the expanded metal, so that the reinforcement mat is fixed in its position for the subsequent connection surface. The distance between the reinforcement and the side surface formwork is then bridged by a conventional concrete cover strip. However, it has been found that the known formwork is still in need of improvement. For example, the reinforcement when building the formwork must be held until the concrete cover strip is installed.
From DE-GM 93 01 565 it is also known to form a formwork for shuttering a connecting surface in two parts in order to be able to arrange the arrangement of reinforcements at a greater distance from the boundary edges of the formwork, in the middle of the concrete part. A division of the formwork wall is not always possible.
Furthermore, a comb-like reinforcing plate is described in US Pat. No. 3,454,255 as part of an otherwise made of cardboard formwork wall, which must be removed again after concreting. The reinforcing bars extending through the connection surface are pushed through the cardboard wall and are only held in their predetermined position by the cardboard wall. The openings on one side that are open between the comb-like projecting parts of the reinforcement plate are, however, much too large and are kept at all distances from the reinforcement bars, so that the reinforcement plate cannot serve as a support for the reinforcement.
Die Blätter müssen dann rund um die Bewehrungsstäbe auf den Schalbrettern befestigt werden.GB-A-1 568 690 describes a formwork consisting of a plurality of formwork boards, in which grooves for incorporating reinforcements are incorporated. After the formwork has been erected, the grooves are covered by sheets of flexible material, each sheet containing a hole with a diameter of the corresponding reinforcing bar and a slot which ensures access to the hole. The sheets must then be attached to the formwork boards around the reinforcing bars.
Formwork boxes are also known, for example from DE-A-32 11 563 and EP-A-55 321, which are used instead of the formwork. The formwork boxes have lids with side cutouts through which reinforcements can be carried out. Due to the box-shaped design, only bow-shaped reinforcements can be held with the formwork boxes.
The invention is therefore based on the object of developing a formwork of the type mentioned in such a way that a secure fastening of the reinforcement is achieved even during the construction of the formwork in a simple and inexpensive manner.
The object is achieved by the characterizing features of
The formwork aid according to the invention can be used in connection with any conventional formwork without having to make any changes to the formwork. The additional use of the formwork aid means that no changes need to be made at the edge of the formwork wall in order to be able to attach the reinforcement. Furthermore, formwork aids with different distances between the openings can be kept in stock, so that any reinforcement task, in particular different distances between the reinforcement bars, can be taken into account in a simple manner, without changes to the formwork wall itself having to be made. Rather, the reinforcement lies on (in the case of a concrete wall) or on (in the case of a concrete slab) the lateral or upper edge of the formwork wall and is supported in only one direction by the formwork wall. The formwork aid ensures that the rest of the reinforcement is secured. In addition, the formwork aid reinforces the edge area of the formwork wall, so that even with a higher pressure on the reinforcement bars, the distance between the reinforcement bars does not change significantly.
Advantageous developments of the invention can be found in the subclaims.

From Fig. 1, a
The formwork material of the
The length of the formwork material pieces along the
The use of the
The width of the
The remaining distance between the
In a modification of the described and drawn exemplary embodiment, the
The formwork aid according to the invention can also be used if a mesh mat is used for reinforcement instead of longitudinal bars. Both the formwork material pieces of the formwork aid and the formwork material of the formwork wall can be any other conventional formwork material. Finally, a handle bar or the like can be provided instead of the handle bar.
