Definitions
- the invention relates to a roof window with a window sash on one Window frame is pivotally mounted about an axis of rotation.
- Roof windows are usually a few centimeters above the roof level set to enable safe drainage.
- the opening of the Roof window is mostly through a misshapen mechanism that is normal to the glass surface in the room.
- the Pulling the window up over the roof surface is often not desirable because that Overall picture of the roof structure can be disturbed.
- the well-known opening mechanisms are also very voluminous and for aesthetic reasons unfavorable. In addition, they are often cramped due to the interior of the roof Space is difficult to assemble.
- the object of the invention is an improved window, in particular To create roof windows.
- this is achieved in that at least one Window frame profile one of those between the window frame and window sash Folding area at an angle to the window plane spanned by the window frame and from Because of the fold area from the drainage surface leading outwards having.
- Condensation can flow through this sloping drainage surface out of the fold area and for example via the mullion beam construction or otherwise a way to be dissipated. It comes above all the sloping drainage surface of the lower window profile play a crucial role as well in this lower fold area ultimately the condensed water collects. By suitable inclination of the inclined surface can be achieved that this at the lower window profile a small one when the roof window is installed Slope towards the outside.
- the axis of rotation of the window sash By preferential installation of the axis of rotation of the window sash below the roof level it is possible to enter one Form roof windows in which the outer surface the window sash and, if necessary, the window frame with that of the other fixed parts of the roof (For example, a mullion construction with in between fixed glass panes) Roof level is flush.
- the one with the axis of rotation Hinge joint can be in a chamber in the window frame be arranged, which are sealed by seals and, if necessary, a drainage channel to the outside.
- a drainage channel can emerge from the chamber lead outwards with a slope to water, that enters the chamber despite the seals, to be able to discharge safely to the outside.
- the drive unit in the rebate area between the window frame and Window sash is arranged and / or at least partially arranged inside the window frame profile is. It is thus possible to save space on the drive unit and especially in the bottom view of a roof window to be arranged essentially invisibly.
- the drive unit can have an elongated housing, that is in the longitudinal direction of the window frame profile extends.
- the drive of the window sash can, for example via scissors mechanics. There are however other drive types are also conceivable and possible, for example via cables or the like.
- the window frame and / or the window casement of two Profile parts is composed that over thermally insulating spacers are interconnected. These spacers thus act as statically load-bearing Components and on the other hand as thermal insulators.
- thermal insulators By separating the window frame and the window sash in outer and inner components it is open easily possible, this separately and if necessary to be coated in different colors.
- the spacers are easy to adjust on different glass thicknesses possible. You allow easy assembly and disassembly on site and if necessary, a quick exchange of the glass from Outside.
- preferably made of reinforced Plastic to ensure existing spacers these are preferably in grooves of the metallic Profile parts held clamped.
- the spacers preferably extend over the entire length of the Profile parts and conveniently have drainage holes on.
- Fig. 1 the load-bearing roof construction made of transverse Bolts 2 and posts running in the fall line 1. Opposite the one spanned by the transoms and posts The roof area window 3 protrudes.
- the roof window according to the invention 3 according to FIG. 2 essentially flush with the roof level spanned by the transoms and posts arranged.
- the Axis of rotation 4, about which the window sash 5 relative to the Window stick 6 is pivotable at a normal distance d below the dashed line Roof plane E is, as shown in Fig. 3.
- the Normal distance d of the axis of rotation from the roof surface E is Conveniently more than 1 cm to be sufficient dimensioned hinge 7 to accommodate. Typically, this normal distance between 1 and 3 cm.
- the hinge joint 7 is over a web 8 with the window frame 6 and a web 9 connected to the window sash 5. This allows to open the window sash 5 about the axis of rotation 4, such as this is indicated in Fig. 4.
- the hinge 7 is in a chamber 10 arranged in the window block 6 and after outside on the one hand through part 5a of the window sash and on the other hand by a window-fixed seal 11 covered. This is both in the closed as even when the window sash 5 is open Rain entering the chamber 10, in which the Hinge joint 7 is housed protected, largely avoided.
- the chamber 10 with the window sash 5 closed by a seal 13 sealed.
- the roof windows according to the invention can vary Position of the axis of rotation in a wide variety of directions rise up.
- the axis of rotation 4 in the upper area of the roof window Arrange horizontally so that the window sash below. But it is also often the case that the window sash 5 should open up in the event of a fire To enable ventilation (fire smoke wing).
- the roof window similar to a usual window around an axis of rotation rises, which runs in the fall line of the roof.
- the hinge joint 7 opposite chamber 10 simply empty is. Water flowing into the chamber 10 of the upper window profile or the side window frame profiles penetrates, ultimately accumulates in the with this communicating lower chamber 10 of the lower window frame profile 6 and can be there via the drainage canal 14 get out, provided, of course, that the roof window is installed so obliquely that the drainage channel 14 has a slope to the outside.
- the window frame profile according to FIG. 4 one of the fold area 12 (more precisely drainage surface leading outwards from the fold base 12a) 19 on.
- the sloping drainage surface 19 of the lower window frame profile must be installed Skylights with a slight slope opposite the horizontal fall outward so the water from Falzground 12 through the water passage openings 17, 20 according to the arrows drawn outwards can flow. It is sufficient if this slope is at least 1 °, preferably between 2 and 5 °.
- the sloping drainage surface 18 advantageously extends over the entire length of the window frame profile 6 and is essentially flat.
- the oblique drainage surface 18 with the spanned by the window frame 6 Window level includes below 45 °, preferably below 30 °, roof windows can also be used with less Use the incline, the fold base 12a nevertheless can be safely drained. If this angle, for example Is 23 °, is a flush window possible in a roof with a roof pitch of 25 °. Then falls over the difference angle of 2 ° sloping drainage surface 18 to the outside and drained the fold base.
- FIG. 4 forms the drainage surface 18 inside the window frame profile the bottom of a channel 19, the water passage openings 17, 20 on the one hand with the fold area 12 and on the other hand with the outside of the window frame profile 6 communicates.
- the passage openings 17 are over each other at certain intervals distributed and affect the length of the window frame profile static stability is not.
- the fold base 12a already has an oblique section 18a of the drainage surface 18 formed outside of the drainage channel running in floor profile 6 lies. This means that the fold width can already be used to drain water to the outside.
- the section according to FIG. 6 is a section parallel to the axis of rotation through the right of the two side window frame or sash areas. It can be seen that the window frame profile 6 and the window sash profile 5 looks essentially the same, like in the lower area of the roof window 5. This is also production engineering Reasonably priced. Only the drainage channels 17, 20 and 14 and 16 need not be provided here. The glass pane held over seals 21 can be seen here 22, the rebate base seal is designated 12b.
- the scissors mechanism 24 opens and closes the window sash.
- FIG. 23 shows the drive unit 23 with its Part 23a partially inside the window frame profile 6 arranged.
- the drive unit 23 is in a recess is inserted in surface 18a. Both serve lateral areas of the roof window these areas 18a are not for drainage, so that Inserting the drive unit 23a is not a problem.
- the drive unit 23 preferably has elongated case and can be done well and from below as well as invisible from the outside in the rebate area become. In principle, it would also be possible to use one elongated drive unit right inside the floor profile 6 to integrate. To safely open the window To enable it is convenient if two drive units 23 are provided, namely on opposite Sides of the roof window.
- the spacers 25 can drain holes 17 or 20 (Fig. 5).
- window block and Window sash profiles in cross-section rectangular chambers 26 have. These allow the profile parts mentioned via simple extruded, not shown Quickly connect corner connectors to each other, whereby conveniently around the channels 19 and the fold area 12 communicated with each other. The same applies to the chamber 15th
- Another variant of the invention provides that at least a detachably connectable with the window sash 5 Glass retaining strip 27 on the outside of the window glass 22 is arranged.
