Description

The invention relates to a device for mounting a spinning, twisting or winding spindle according to the preamble of claim 1.

Such bearings have been proposed, for example, in CH-444 584.

The spindle bearing variants shown in this document all have ball or spherical cap bearings between a bearing sleeve and a collar or a plate, which in turn are connected to a stationary machine part via springs. Due to the requirement of additional spring elements, these known bearings are relatively complex to manufacture and therefore expensive.

The invention has for its object to provide an additional elastic storage for spindles to be produced with little manufacturing effort, in which the neck and foot bearings for the spindle can be arranged in any manner spring-loaded in a bearing housing.

The object is achieved with a device having the features of claim 1. The internal structure of the spindle bearing within the bearing housing is completely arbitrary in the device according to the invention. All conventional spindle bearings can be used for this. The desired additional elastic mounting is created by the joint at the base of the bearing housing, which forms a fulcrum for pivoting movements of the bearing housing within the outer housing, the deflections of the bearing housing being radially cushioned in the upper region. The joint is designed as a spring joint in which the foot region of the bearing housing interacts with a membrane in the outer housing that is elastic for the pivoting movement. For radial suspension, a radially resilient element can expediently be arranged between the upper region of the bearing housing and the outer housing. This radially resilient element can consist of metal and can be, for example, a spiral spring. However, an element made of an elastomer or the like can also be used for this. Here, the outer housing can have a flange for fastening in a spinning machine, wherein a cavity can be provided in the flange area for the arrangement of the radially resilient element. The resilient element can, however, also have only a small radial extension and therefore a relatively large length in the axial direction. The arrangement of several resilient elements that complement each other in their effect is also possible. A deflection limit can also be used to protect the radially resilient element from deformation be provided. This is particularly advantageous in the case of spindles driven by a tangential belt, in which high radially acting braking forces occur. Additional damping of the movement of the bearing housing in the outer housing can be achieved by providing a damping medium such as grease, oil or polymer foam in an intermediate space between the bearing housing and the outer housing. Since the space between the bearing housing and the outer housing is not connected to the inside of the bearing housing, media other than the lubricating and damping medium of the spindle bearing can be used as the damping medium. If the space between the bearing housing and the outer housing is large enough, a spirally wound and oil or grease-filled damping element, for example a wound sheet metal strip, can also be arranged there.

For noise decoupling between the bearing housing and the outer housing, the joint between the bearing housing and the outer housing can expediently be made of a different material than the housing. Noise can also be reduced by using a membrane that is matched in geometry and material. Frequently, it is also desirable to be able to adjust the relative position of the bearing housing and the outer housing to one another, for example as a reserve in a tangential belt drive or to compensate for manufacturing tolerances. For this purpose, appropriate devices can be provided in the foot area and in the upper area of the outer housing. For example, the relative position of the bearing housing and the outer housing can be set in the foot area by means of a screw or clamp connection between the bearing housing and the outer housing. However, adjustment by plastic deformation of a connecting element is also conceivable. The relative position in the upper region can be set, for example, by accommodating the spring element in two interlocking disks with an eccentric bore. In addition, fuses can be provided, for example in the form of stops against axial movement of the bearing housing relative to the outer housing. Such a backup is useful in both directions. When changing the cops, large doffer forces can occur, which can be absorbed, for example, by a washer under the press-fit collar between the bearing housing and the outer housing or by a support cap below a diaphragm joint between the bearing housing and the outer housing. A cover plate at the upper end of the outer housing can prevent the upper spindle part from being pulled out of the outer housing together with the bearing housing when the cops are removed. The outer housing can completely enclose the bearing housing in the radial direction and downwards, so that it is possible to fill the damping medium such as grease into the outer housing before installing the bearing housing, which simplifies the assembly of the device.

A preferred embodiment of a device according to the invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawing.

The only figure shows a central longitudinal section through a spindle bearing.

The spindle bearing consists of a bearing housing 30 in which a spindle bearing consisting of a neck bearing 11 and a foot bearing 12 is arranged. The foot bearing 12 is arranged to be movable in the radial direction in the bearing housing 30. The neck bearing 11 is firmly connected to the bearing housing 30 via a press connection. To dampen the movement of the foot bearing 12, a damping spiral 13 is provided between the foot bearing 12 and the inner wall of the bearing housing 30. The Bearing housing 30 completely closes off the actual spindle receptacle from the outside. The internal structure of the bearing housing 30 shown is only an example. Other arrangements of neck bearing 11 and foot bearing 12 are also possible here. The bearing housing 30 is inserted into an outer housing 32 and is mounted on the outer housing 32 in its foot region 30.1 via a spring joint 15, which is formed by a membrane 31 of an outer housing 32. In an upper area 30.2, the bearing housing 30 is resiliently arranged in the radial direction in the outer housing 32 via a spring element 18, which is formed here by a plurality of spiral springs arranged one above the other. In an intermediate space 19 between the bearing housing 30 and the outer housing 32, grease is filled in as a damping medium. The fill level of the grease in the intermediate space 19 and the spring characteristic of the spring element 18 can easily compensate for the effects of the joint 15 on damping and suspension. In its upper region 30.2, the bearing housing 30 is provided with a press-in collar 20 for axial pull-off protection in the outer housing 32. In addition, a cover plate 21 is placed on the outer housing 32 from above, which forms both a seal of the interior of the outer housing 32 and an axial and radial stop for the inner housing 30. A centering device 33 for the joint 15 is provided on the lower region of the outer housing 32. With their help, the relative position of the bearing housing 30 to the outer housing 32 can be adjusted.
