Claims (5)
- A mortise lock (1) including a dead bolt (5) guided inside a lock casing at a slide lever (4), whereby said slide lever (4), essentially parallel slidably with regard to the front plate (3) by means of a closing cylinder cam (31), presents an indentation (14), which is basically diagonally oriented with regard to the front plate (3), and which is provided to catch a journal (15) arranged at the dead bolt (5), whereby during the dead bolt's retraction movement said slide lever (4) is furthermore pre-loaded by means of a spring (36) and when the dead bolt is in the retracted position, it is held by means of a bracket, such that releasing the bracket by means of the closing cylinder cam (31) triggers the automatic dead bolt extension, characterised by the following features:(a) the slide lever (4) is pre-loaded by means of the closing cylinder cam (31) upon the dead bolt's retraction movement,(b) the slide lever (4) is slidably guided, parallel with regard to the front plate (3) in at least two oblong holes (9, 11), which are spaced apart,(c) when the dead bolt is completely retracted and the spring (36) loaded, the slide lever (4) engages a notch (26) of a spring-loaded bracket lever (6),(d) when the dead bolt is in the extension position, the closing cylinder cam (31) sits close to a releasing lever (7), which is slidably basically parallel with regard to the front plate (3), and which acts upon the bracket lever (6) and releases the slide lever (4) from the notch (26).
- A mortise lock according to claim 1, characterised in that in the region of its upper free end the slide lever (4) presents a spring cam (27) for the spring (36).
- A mortise lock according to claim 1 and 2, characterised in that the bracket lever (6) is L-shape designed and the notch (26) for a catch cam (37) of the slide lever (4) is arranged at the longer L-leg's (25) upper free end.
- A mortise lock according to any of the claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the releasing lever (7) is guided by means of an oblong hole (22) at a journal (23) of the main lock plate (2).
- A mortise lock according to any of the claims 1 to 4, characterised in that, when the dead bolt moves into the extension position, edges (40, 41) abutting against each other are arranged on the one hand at the releasing lever (7) and on the other hand at the shorter leg (24) of bracket lever (6).
