Abstract
Description
Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen Farbroller mit einer auf einem Lagerschenkel eines, vorzugsweise mehrfach gewinkelten, Griffteils gelagerten, mit einem Überzug aus Plüsch od.dgl. überzogenen hohlen Walze und mit Ringen zur Begrenzung des Zusammendrückens des Überzuges, insbesondere zum Lackieren von Böden.The invention relates to a paint roller with or on a bearing leg of a, preferably multi-angled, grip part, with a coating of plush or the like. covered hollow roller and with rings to limit the compression of the coating, in particular for painting floors.

Um diese Schwierigkeiten zu beseitigen, ist bereits vorgeschlagen worden, auf die Farbrolle geschlitzte Ringe aufzustecken, die eine Andruckbegrenzung bilden, so daß der Plüsch maximal bis zur Ringdicke zusammengepreßt werden kann, so daß sich notwendigerweise größere Schichtdicken des Lacks oder sonstigen Überzugsmaterials auf der behandelten Fläche ergeben. Diese bekannten aufsteckbaren geschlitzten Ringe haben jedoch den Nachteil, daß sie zum einen durch das Aufsitzen auf den Plüschfasern keine exakte rundum gleichmäßige Begrenzungsdicke bezüglich der Walzenoberfläche liefern können. Darüber hinaus besteht die Schwierigkeit, daß die Ringe beim Aufsetzen auf das vorzugsweise aus Plüsch od.dgl. bestehende Überzugsmaterial nicht exakt vertikal zur Rotationsachse der Walze liegen, sondern etwas schräg dazu. Dies hat wiederum zur Folge, daß der Farbroller beim Andrücken nicht geradeaus läuft, sondern zur Seite hin abweichen kann und insbesondere, daß auf einem großen, der Schrägstellung des Rings entsprechenden Bereich der Lack auf dem Boden von der überstehenden Kante des Rings abgeschabt wird und gerade in diesem Bereich dann ein zu geringer Lack- oder Überzugsmaterialauftrag vorliegt.In order to eliminate these difficulties, it has already been proposed to place slotted rings on the paint roller, which form a pressure limitation, so that the plush can be compressed to a maximum of the ring thickness, so that larger layer thicknesses of the lacquer or other coating material necessarily form on the treated surface surrender. Mit besonderem Vorteil sollen die Ringflansche aber durch lösbar auf die Stirnseiten der Walze aufsteckbare, vorzugsweise klemmend daran gehalterte Abschlußdeckel gebildet sein, so daß man nicht Farbroller mit entsprechenden Ringflanschausbildungen der Walzen benötigt, die dann nur für die speziellen Einsatzzwecke geeignet sind. Der in Fig. 1 dargestellte Farbrolle umfaßt ein mehrfach gewinkeltes Griffteil 1, das nur abgebrochen dargestellt ist und den eigentlichen Handgriff gar nicht mehr enthält. Der freie vordere Schenkel 2 des Griffteils 1 bildet den Lagerschenkel für eine hohle Walze 3, die mit einem Überzug 4 aus Plüsch od.dgl. überzogen ist. Die Lagerung der hohlen Walze 3 auf dem Lagerschenkel 2 des Griffteils 1 kann in unterschiedlichster Weise erfolgen, beispielsweise mit Hilfe von Lagerteilen mit Rollen im Inneren der Walze, oder aber auch, wie in den Figuren 2 und 3 erkennbar, durch einfache Lagerung in einer Bohrung 5 eines Stirnabschlußteils 6 der Walze 3. Zur Erzielung einer Andruckbegrenzug beim Andrücken des Farbrollers auf einer Auftragsoberfläche, insbesondere auf einem zu lackierenden Boden, ist im dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel ein gesonderter Abschlußdeckel 7 vorgesehen, dessen Umfangsrand 8 beim Aufstecken des in die napfförmige Vertiefung 9 des Stirnabschlußteils 6 der Walze eingreifenden Klemmhalterungsabschnitts 10 über den Außenumfang der Walze 3 übersteht, wie dies besonders aus Fig. 2 zu erkennen ist. Dadurch kann der Plüschüberzug 4 mit seinen Fäden 11 nur maximal bis zum Umfang des Abschlußdeckels 7, also bis zum Rand 8, zusammengedrückt werden. Dabei legen sich die äußersten Fäden 11a des Plüschüberzugs um den Rand 8, wie dies in Fig. 2 unten gezeigt ist, und verhindern dabei, daß der Rand 8 sich als Riefe im Lacküberzug auf der Auftragsfläche einprägt.The paint roller shown in Fig. 1 comprises a multi-angled handle part 1, which is only shown broken off and no longer contains the actual handle.
