Description

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Tubenverschluss mit einer Schraubkappe aus Kunststoff gemäss Oberbegriff von Anspruch 1. Derartige Tubenverschlüsse sind in verschiedensten Ausführungsformen bekannt und gebräuchlich und z.B. in der DE-U-93 00 042 der Anmelderin beschrieben.
Das Tuben-Gewinde wird dabei entweder am Tubenhals angeformt oder einstückig mit dem Tubenhals ausgebildet. Andererseits sind auch Lösungen bekannt, bei denen die Tube selbst kein Gewinde trägt und ein Gewindeteil z.B. formschlüssig auf einen gewindelosen Ansatz an der Tubenschulter aufgeschnappt oder anderweitig mit der Tube verbunden wird. Das Garantieband ist abreissbar mit dem Tubenhals verbunden. Bei aufgesetzter Schraubkappe steht das Garantieband derart mit der Schraubkappe in Eingriff, dass es beim erstmaligen Oeffnen der Tube abreisst. In der Regel weist die Schraubkappe an ihrem unteren Rand einen radial auswärts abstehenden Wulst auf, den das Garantieband bei aufgesetzer Schraubkappe übergreift. Beim Oeffnen wird das Garantieband durch diesen Wulst nach oben gezogen, so dass es vom Tubenhals abreisst.
Bei den bekannten, ringförmig umlaufenden Garantiebändern führt dies dazu, dass das Garantieband beim Oeffnen vollständig vom Tubenhals abgerissen wird und auf der Schraubkappe verbleibt. Nach dem Wiederverschliessen eines solchen Verschlusses kann das Garantieband wieder seine ursprüngliche Lage einnehmen, so dass man der Tube das erstmalige Oeffnen kaum ansieht. Um dies zu vermeiden, muss der Garantiering nach dem Oeffnen der Tube von Hand über das obere Ende der Schraubkappe abgenommen werden. Diese Art von Garantieband kann daher bei T-förmigen oder anderen nach oben grösser werdenden Schraubkappen nicht verwendet werden, da das Band dann nicht abgenommen werden kann und somit auch nach dem Oeffnen fest mit der Schraubkappe verbunden bleiben würde.
Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, die Konstruktion eines solchen Tubenverschlusses mit einem Garantieband derart zu verbessern, dass das Garantieband einerseits funktionstüchtig das erstmalige Öffnen anzeigt und nach einer Manipulation nicht wieder einfach über den Tubenhals gelegt und auf diesem verklemmt werden kann und andererseits konstruktiv einfach herstellbar und am Tubenverschluss anbringbar ist.
Erfindungsgemäss wird diese Aufgabe gemäss Kennzeichen des Patentanspruchs 1 gelöst. Die Erfindung sieht dabei auf optimal einfache Weise vor, das Garantieband durch wenigstens zwei Trennschlitze derart zu unterteilen, dass es sich bei einer Beschädigung in wenigstens zwei abstehende Garantieband-Segmente aufteilt. Beim erstmaligen Oeffnen der Schraubkappe werden die Garantieband-Segmente so weit abgerissen, bis sie die Schraubkappe freigeben. Sie werden dabei nicht vollständig abgerissen und bleiben auch nach dem Oeffnen Mittels eines am gewinde montierten Ringes durch wenigstens ein Verbindungselement mit dem Tubenhals verbunden. Sie müssen daher vom Verbraucher vollständig entfernt werden, was zur Bewusstseinsbildung der Erstöffnung führt. Das erstmalige Oeffnen wird durch die abstehenden Garantieband-Segmente deutlich angezeigt, und gleichzeitig haben die einzelnen Segmente gegenüber einem umlaufenden Garantiering den Vorteil, dass sie von der Schraubkappe getrennt werden, so dass auch T-förmige Verschlusskappen verwendet werden können und nach dem Wiederverschliessen der Tube deutlich erkennbar ist, dass diese bereits einmal geöffnet wurde. Die abreissbare Verbindung zwischen dem Garantieband und dem Tubenhals wird Mittels des zusätzlichen Ringes hergestellt, wobei dieser auf das Tubengewinde aufgeschraubt wird oder hinter dem Gewinde einrastet. In jedem Fall wird das Garantieband durch Verbindungselemente mit diesem Ring verbunden.
Die Empfindlichkeit des Garantiebands ist in starkem Masse von der Tiefe der Trennschlitze abhängig. Diese müssen in jedem Fall so tief sein, dass sich das Garantieband beim erstmaligen Oeffnen in einzelne Segmente aufteilt. Bei einer bevorzugten Ausführungsform wird das Garantieband durch die Trennschlitze vollständig unterteilt, so dass es bereits vor dem erstmaligen Oeffnen aus mehreren, nicht direkt miteinander verbundenen Garantieband-Segmenten besteht. Jedes dieser Segmente wird durch wenigstens zwei Verbindungselemente in seiner Position gehalten.
Besonders sicher zerfällt das Garantieband nach einer Manipulation, wenn am Garantieband radial nach innen gerichtete Festhalteelemente vorgesehen sind und wenn die Schraubkappe wenigstens einen radial nach aussen gerichteten Wulst oder Vorsprung trägt, über den die Festhalteelemente formschlüssig einrasten können, sobald die Trennschlitze in die Ausgangslage zurückschnappen.
Das Garantieband lässt sich besonders stabil ausbilden und fest mit einem Haltering bzw. dem Gewinde oder dem Tubenhals verbinden, wenn auf beiden Seiten der Trennschlitze je ein Verbindungselement vorgesehen ist. Ausserdem stehen die Einzelsegmente des Garantiebands nach dem Reissen der Verbindungselemente auf diese Weise auffällig insbesondere in axialsymmetrischer Form ab. Bei einer besonders bevorzugten Ausführungsform wird jedes Garantieband-Segment durch zwei Verbindungselemente gehalten, wobei an jedem Ende des Garantieband-Segments eines der Verbindungselemente angeordnet ist. Damit ist sichergestellt, dass das Segment nach dem Bruch von einem seiner Verbindungselemente nur noch an einem Ende mit dem Tubenhals verbunden ist, so dass die Verletzung deutlich sichtbar ist.
Es kann vorkommen, dass beim Oeffnen des Verschlusses beide Verbindungselemente eines solchen Segments gleichzeitig brechen. Das betreffende Segment fällt in einem solchen Fall von selbst weg, was insbesondere bei Lebensmitteln wie z.B. Mayonnaise oder Senf enthaltenden Tuben, die bei der Zubereitung von Speisen verwendet werden, ein Nachteil ist: bei Unachtsamkeit des Verbrauchers könnte ein Garantieband-Segment unbemerkt in eine zubereitete Speise fallen. Um dies zu vermeiden und sicherzustellen, dass nur eines der beiden Verbindungselemente bricht, werden diese bevorzugt unterschiedlich stark ausgeprägt, so dass beim Oeffnen nur das schwächere bricht.
Die Verwendung unterschiedlich starker Abreissstege als Verbindungselemente zwischen dem Garantieband und dem Tubenhals (Haltering, Gewindeaufsatz etc.) hat sich jedoch auch ganz allgemein bewährt: Derartige Stege lassen sich einerseits so ausbilden, dass eine für die Montage ausreichend feste Verbindung zwischen einem Haltering und dem Garantieband besteht, dass ausserdem bei der Herstellung im Spritzgussverfahren das Garantieband über die Abreissstege geführt wird und dass andererseits beim erstmaligen Öffnen die Stege zuverlässig reissen und damit das Öffnen anzeigen. Besonders bewährt hat sich die Anordnung von zwei etwa diametral gegenüberliegend angeordneten Trennschlitzen, die ein ringförmig umlaufendes Garantieband in zwei Halbkreissegmente unterteilen.
Besonders sicher lässt sich der Schraubverschluss mit dem Garantieband sichern, wenn am Garantieband ein axial gegen den Tubenverschluss gerichteter Widerhaken vorgesehen ist.
Die Erfindung ist im folgenden in Ausführungsbeispielen anhand der Zeichnungen näher erläutert. Es zeigen:

Die in Figur 1 schematisch dargestellte Schraubkappe 6 dient zum Verschliessen des in Figur 2 ebenfalls schematisch dargestellten Tubenhalses 1 und bildet daher zusammen mit diesem einen Tubenverschluss. Der Tubenhals 1 weist ein Aussengewinde 3 auf und an der Schraubkappe 6 ist ein dazu korrespondierendes Innengewinde 5 vorgesehen.
An dem in Figur 2 gezeigten Tubenhals 1 ist ein ringförmig umlaufendes Garantieband 10 befestigt, das koaxial zum Gewinde 3 verläuft. Die Verbindung zwischen dem Garantieband 10 und dem Tubenhals 1 wird in diesem Beispiel durch einen das Gewinde 3 untergreifenden Ring 4 hergestellt, an welchem das Garantieband 10 mittels als Verbindungselement dienenden Abreissstegen 9, 9a befestigt ist. Das Garantieband 10 weist an seinem oberen Ende radial nach innen gerichtete Festhalteelemente 11 auf, die im Querschnitt die Form eines Widerhakens haben, und deren Innendurchmesser kleiner ist als der Aussendurchmesser eines am unteren Rand der Schraubkappe 6 nach aussen vorstehenden Vorsprungs 8. Die Festhalteelemente 11 bilden bei aufgesetzter Schraubkappe eine formschlüssige Verbindung mit dem Vorsprung 8 der Schraubkappe, welche nur durch Zerstören des Garantiebandes gelöst werden kann.
Beim erstmaligen Aufschrauben der Schraubkappe 6 wird der obere Rand des Garantiebands durch den Vorsprung 8 der Schraubkappe elastisch nach aussen gedrückt, so dass die Festhalteelemente 11 bei fortgesetzter Aufschraubbewegung über den Vorsprung 8 schnappen. Dieser Aufschraubvorgang ist in Figur 3 dargestellt, Figur 4 zeigt den Tubenverschluss mit vollständig aufgeschraubter Schraubkappe 6, deren Vorsprung 8 von den Festhalteelementen 11 des Garantiebands 10 übergriffen wird.
Aus Figur 5, die den Tubenhals und das Garantieband 10 von oben zeigt, ist ersichtlich, dass das Garantieband 10 durch zwei etwa vertikal verlaufende Trennschlitze 7 unterteilt ist. Die hier gezeigten Trennschlitze 7 durchtrennen das ringförmig umlaufende Garantieband 10 vollständig, so dass es sich im Grunde genommen um zwei voneinander unabhängige, halbkreisförmige Garantieband-Segmente handelt. Dies ist eine bevorzugte Ausführungsform, es wäre jedoch grundsätzlich auch möglich, die Tiefe der Trennschlitze 7 zu reduzieren, so dass Garantieband 10 im Bereich der Trennschlitze 7 lediglich geschwächt wäre und dann beim erstmaligen Oeffnen des Tubenverschlusses aufbrechen würde. Die beiden Garantieband-Segmente sind lediglich an ihren Enden durch Abreissstege 9, 9a mit dem inneren Ring 4 verbunden. Grundsätzlich könnten entlang den Garantieband-Segmenten weitere Abreissstege angeordnet werden. Die Beschränkung auf lediglich zwei an den Enden angeordneten Abreissstege 9, 9a hat jedoch den Vorteil, dass beim Oeffnen des Verschlusses einer der beiden Stege als erster reisst und somit sichergestellt ist, dass das Segment nach dem Oeffnen des Verschlusses nur noch an einem Ende mit dem Ring 4 verbunden ist, so dass es deutlich sichtbar absteht.
Bevorzugt werden die beiden Abreissstege 9, 9a unterschiedlich stark ausgebildet, so dass sichergestellt ist, dass einer der beiden Stege (der schwächere Steg 9) als erster reisst. Die Gefahr dass beide Stege 9, 9a gleichzeitig reissen, kann damit ausgeschlossen werden. Bevorzugt werden die stärkeren Abreissstege 9a und die schwächeren Abreissstege 9 so verteilt, dass von den an einen Trennschlitz 7 anschliessenden Segment-Enden jeweils eines durch einen stärkeren Steg 9a und das andere durch einen schwächeren Steg 9 mit dem inneren Ring 4 verbunden ist. Damit wird beim Oeffnen des Verschlusses ein regelmässiges Bild des aufgebrochenen Garantiebands erreicht, bei dem vorliegenden Beispiel mit zwei halbkreisförmigen Garantieband-Segmenten ergibt sich ein etwa axialsymmetrisches Bild.
Beim Oeffnen der Schraubkappe 6 läuft der Vorsprung 8 auf die Unterkante der Festhalteelemente 11 auf und nimmt diese solange nach oben mit, bis die Abreissstege 9 abreissen und das Garantieband freigeben. Da die Abreissstege 9 seitlich an der Innenfläche des Garantiebands 10 angeformt sind, wird beim Oeffnen eine Scherkraft auf die Abreissstege 9 ausgeübt, so dass diese zuverlässig reissen. Der Zustand des Garantiebands nach dem erstmaligen Oeffnen des Tubenverschlusses ist in den Figuren 6 und 7 dargestellt. Die unterschiedlich starke Ausprägung der Abreissstege 9, 9a führt dazu, dass nur die schwächeren Abreissstege 9 abreissen und die einzelnen Segmente durch die stärkeren Stege 9a mit dem inneren Ring 4 verbunden bleiben. Durch die bereits angesprochene, abwechselnde Anordnung von starken und schwachen Abreissstegen ergibt sich ein regelmässiges, im vorliegenden Fall axialsymmetrisches Bild des aufgebrochenen Garantiebands.
Da die Abreissstege 9 von der Aussenfläche des Rings 4 radial nach aussen stehen und in die Innenwand des Garantiebands 10 laufen, lässt sich der Ring 4 auch einfach in einem Spritzgusswerkzeug herstellen, das ohne radial öffnende Backen arbeitet. Der Ring 4 mit dem Garantieband 10 kann vorteilhaft aus einem Kunststoff mit anderer Farbe hergestellt werden als die Schraubkappe 6. Dadurch lässt sich die optische Anzeige vom Fehlen des Garantiebands 10 verbessern.
Figur 8 zeigt die Seitenansicht des Tubenhalses von Figur 2. In dieser Darstellung ist insbesondere der durchgehende Trennschlitz 7 des Garantiebands 10 deutlich erkennbar, im unteren Bereich des Trennschlitzes 7 ist ein Ausschnitt des innerhalb von Garantieband 10 angeordneten Rings 4 sichtbar.
Schliesslich ist in Figur 9 ein Tubenhals mit einer alternativen Ausführungsvariante des Garantiebands dargestellt, welches drei Trennschlitze 7a aufweist und aus drei gleich grossen Garantieband-Segmenten 12 besteht.

Claims (9)

  1. Tubenverschluss mit einem Gewinde (3) auf einem Tubenhals (1), der durch eine Schraubkappe (6) verschliessbar ist, wobei am Tubenhals (1) mittels abreissbarer Verbindungselemente (9, 9a) ein frei abstehendes Garantieband (10) befestigt ist, welches derart mit der Schraubkappe in Eingriff steht, dass das Garantieband (10) beim Öffnen der Schraubkappe (6) von den Verbindungselementen (9, 9a) trennbar ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Garantieband (10) durch wenigstens zwei Trennschlitze (7) in wenigstens zwei Segmente unterteilt ist und dass das Garantieband (10) mit einem zur Montage an dem Gewinde (3) dienenden Ring (4) und den zwischen Garantieband (10) und Ring (4) angeordneten abreißbaren Verbindungselementen (9) einstückig ausgebildet ist.
  2. Tubenverschluss nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass auf beiden Seiten des Trennschlitzes (7) je mindestens ein Verbindungselement (9, 9a) vorgesehen ist.
  3. Tubenverschluss nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Trennschlitz (7) das Garantieband (10) vollständig unterteilt.
  4. Tubenverschluss nach einem der vorangegangenen Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Verbindungselemente (9, 9a) unterschiedlich widerstandsfähig ausgebildet sind.
  5. Tubenverschluss nach einem der vorangegangenen Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Trennschlitz (7) parallel zur Längsachse des Gewindes (3) verläuft.
  6. Tubenverschluss nach einem der vorangegangenen Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das am Garantieband vorgesehene Verbindungselement (11) als axial gegen den Tubenverschluss (6) gerichteter Widerhaken ausgebildet ist.
  7. Tubenverschluss nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass jedes der Garantieband-Segmente mittels zwei abreissbarer Verbindungselemente (9, 9a) am Gewinde befestigt ist, wobei an jedem Ende des Garantieband-Segments eines der Verbindungselemente (9, 9a) angeordnet ist.
  8. Tubenverschluss nach Anspruch 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die zwei abreissbaren Verbindungselemente jedes Garantieband-Segments unterschiedlich widerstandsfähig ausgebildet sind.
  9. Tubenverschluss nach Anspruch 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die an einen Trennschlitz (7) angrenzenden Enden der Garantieband-Segmente durch unterschiedlich widerstandsfähige Verbindungselemente (9, 9a) am Tubenhals befestigt sind.
