Definitions
- the invention relates to a paving stone made of a rectangular concrete block with a substantially flat and embossed surface and with abutting surfaces formed at least on both sides of the corners of the concrete block, the side surfaces in the corner region of the concrete block being approximately circular and the abutting surfaces arranged on opposite sides being one have the appropriate spacing.
- Such paving stones are known and are usually laid with abutting abutting surfaces, which facilitates the alignment of the individual stones within the laying pattern and laid surfaces offer a visually appealing appearance. In this appearance, the concrete character often disturbs, since the impression of a natural stone paving is increasingly desired.
- An advantage of the concrete paving stone is that the tread can be made very simple, flat and smooth, which is very desirable, for example, in the area of pedestrian zones and promenades.
- a compromise known in this respect is offered by paving stones which are covered with natural stone slabs on their surface.
- paving stones are very expensive.
- Such concrete blocks are then post-treated on the surface after completion, such post-treatment usually consisting of sticks, for which various processing methods have also been developed. Stagnation allows you to achieve relatively flat, fine-roughened surfaces that are easy to walk on after laying, but have a pointed grain Have character and still clearly appear as a concrete block surface.
- the invention has for its object to provide a paving stone made of concrete, the walkable and visible after laying surface gives the impression of a natural stone surface.
- this object is achieved according to the invention in that the concrete block is provided with a rough attachment, which consists approximately of a third of different types of grit and trickle with a grain size less than 8/16, that the circular course with respect to individual corner areas has different radii of curvature and adjoins the adjacent abutting surfaces via an irregularly curved path, that the area running between two abutting surfaces lying on the same side surface in each case has an irregularly undulating curvature, and that the upper peripheral edge is broken out with a radius of curvature greater than 5 mm.
- Such a paving stone made of concrete, finished by bossing has a surface that largely corresponds to the appearance of a natural stone, with the irregularly shaped and thus also irregularly broken peripheral edges offering the appearance of a natural stone.
- This appearance is created in particular by the fact that the embossed surface with irregularly distributed cutouts up to 8 mm depth and the circumferential edge are irregularly broken out with radii of curvature between 5 and 10 mm. It is particularly provided that the larger radii of curvature of the upper peripheral edge in the area between Butt faces are and the butt faces are different widths.
- a third average joint surface is available if the length of the side surfaces of the concrete block is unequal, and that the total joint surface width is between 30 and 50%. the total length of the long side faces.
- the paving stone 10 is constructed from a conventional concrete as core concrete and a coarse facing concrete, which contains a higher proportion of coarse grain compared to the core concrete and the commonly used facing concrete.
- This higher proportion of coarse grain consists of different types of grit and Riesels and has a grain size of less than 8/16 with a share of about a third.
- this coarser granulation consists of 4/8 grit, 5/8 grit and 8/11 grit.
- the rest of the facing concrete has a normal grain size of 0/5.
- the proportions of grit and grit are varied both in terms of their quantity and in terms of their grain size. With this intended grain of the coarse facing concrete, the desired visual impression of a natural stone with the natural play of natural stone is obtained in the final processing of the surface provided as a tread by bossing.
- the irregularity of the broken-out upper edge 11 is also of decisive influence for the characteristic appearance of a natural stone. Therefore, the concrete block is formed irregularly with respect to its peripheral side surfaces, wherein in the plane corresponding to the grid dimension, butt surfaces 12 of different sizes are formed, between which one irregularly wavy curvature 14 of the side surface is provided.
- This irregular course of curvature also extends around the corners of the paving stone, a circular course of curvature with respect to individual corner regions 16 having different radii of curvature and connecting to the adjacent abutting surfaces 12 via an irregularly curved course.
- the regions of the side surface lying between the substantially flat abutting surfaces 12 are also designed to be irregularly curved.
- the surface of the concrete block provided as a tread is given an irregularly broken-out structure by the bossing and the coarser facing concrete, with irregularly distributed cutouts to depths of approximately 8 mm being provided over the surface.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a paving stone made of a rectangular concrete block with a substantially flat and embossed surface and with abutting surfaces formed at least on both sides of the corners of the concrete block, the side surfaces in the corner region of the concrete block being approximately circular and the abutting surfaces arranged on opposite sides being one have the appropriate spacing.
Such paving stones are known and are usually laid with abutting abutting surfaces, which facilitates the alignment of the individual stones within the laying pattern and laid surfaces offer a visually appealing appearance. In this appearance, the concrete character often disturbs, since the impression of a natural stone paving is increasingly desired. An advantage of the concrete paving stone is that the tread can be made very simple, flat and smooth, which is very desirable, for example, in the area of pedestrian zones and promenades.
A compromise known in this respect is offered by paving stones which are covered with natural stone slabs on their surface. However, such paving stones are very expensive. However, attempts have also already been made to create a structure in the surface area of the concrete block by means of special aggregates that comes as close as possible to a natural stone structure. Such concrete blocks are then post-treated on the surface after completion, such post-treatment usually consisting of sticks, for which various processing methods have also been developed. Stagnation allows you to achieve relatively flat, fine-roughened surfaces that are easy to walk on after laying, but have a pointed grain Have character and still clearly appear as a concrete block surface.
In the production of concrete blocks, it is customary to fill in an attachment before placing the core concrete in the mold, which has a grain size of 0/5 for conventional concrete blocks. Both grit and grit are used. The use of a coarser grain size for the facing is also known, but so far the desired appearance, which is very similar to that of a natural stone, has not been able to be achieved in post-processing.
The invention has for its object to provide a paving stone made of concrete, the walkable and visible after laying surface gives the impression of a natural stone surface.
Starting from the paving stone mentioned at the outset, this object is achieved according to the invention in that the concrete block is provided with a rough attachment, which consists approximately of a third of different types of grit and trickle with a grain size less than 8/16, that the circular course with respect to individual corner areas has different radii of curvature and adjoins the adjacent abutting surfaces via an irregularly curved path, that the area running between two abutting surfaces lying on the same side surface in each case has an irregularly undulating curvature, and that the upper peripheral edge is broken out with a radius of curvature greater than 5 mm.
Such a paving stone made of concrete, finished by bossing, has a surface that largely corresponds to the appearance of a natural stone, with the irregularly shaped and thus also irregularly broken peripheral edges offering the appearance of a natural stone.
This appearance is created in particular by the fact that the embossed surface with irregularly distributed cutouts up to 8 mm depth and the circumferential edge are irregularly broken out with radii of curvature between 5 and 10 mm. It is particularly provided that the larger radii of curvature of the upper peripheral edge in the area between Butt faces are and the butt faces are different widths.
In order to ensure that the finished stone offers the desired regularity of the laying pattern when laying, it is further provided that a third average joint surface is available if the length of the side surfaces of the concrete block is unequal, and that the total joint surface width is between 30 and 50%. the total length of the long side faces.
The advantages and features of the invention also result from the following description of an exemplary embodiment in conjunction with the claims and the drawing consisting of one figure, from which a paving stone according to the invention is shown schematically in a perspective view.
The
The irregularity of the broken-out
The regions of the side surface lying between the substantially flat
With this configuration of the curvature of the side surfaces, when the surface is bossed, an irregular appearing breakout of the upper
The surface of the concrete block provided as a tread is given an irregularly broken-out structure by the bossing and the coarser facing concrete, with irregularly distributed cutouts to depths of approximately 8 mm being provided over the surface.
Since the concrete blocks are machined in the continuous process and run on the processing section with the
