Abstract

An isolating switch is to be adapted to the heavy currents occurring during busbar changes at low operating voltages. To this end, an auxiliary contact pin (3), which is located in a counter-contact (2) in the known manner and acts as a preliminary contact, is fitted with an auxiliary sliding contact (11). The auxiliary contact pin (3) runs off this auxiliary sliding contact (11) after the counter-contact member has made contact. Thus the rated current is conducted solely along the main current track. Ein derartiger Trennschalter ist beispielsweise aus der DE-A-39 38 711 bekannt. Bei dem dort beschriebenen Trennschalter fährt während des Einschaltvorganges ein Hauptschaltstift in einen Gegenkontakt ein und kontaktiert dort zunächst mit einem Hilfskontaktstift und danach mit einem Gegenkontaktstück in Form eines Gleitkontaktes. Eine solche Anordnung wird gewählt, um mit einem Trennschalter kapazitive Ströme beherrschen zu können. Der Hilfskontaktstift bildet einen Vorkontakt, zu dem ein Lichtbogen gezogen werden kann, ohne daß dabei die Nennstrom führenden Kontaktflächen des Hauptschaltstiftes aufgeschmolzen oder auf andere Weise beschädigt werden. Außerdem besteht in einem solchen Schaltfall die Gefahr, daß bei der Kommutierung des Stromes von dem Nebenstrompfad über den Hilfskontaktstift auf den Hauptstrompfad über das Gegenkontaktstück trotz der geringen auftretenden Spannungen wegen der hohen Leistung Aufschmelzungen am Hauptschaltstift auftreten.In the event of a busbar change, however, such contacting is generally not sufficient. Claims (2)
