Description

PALETTENCONTAINER PALLET CONTAINERS
The invention relates to a pallet container with a thin-walled plastic container for liquid or flowable fillers, with a wire mesh tightly enclosing the plastic container as a supporting jacket made of horizontally and vertically extending bars and with a bottom pallet on which the plastic container rests and with which the wire mesh supporting jacket is fixed connected is.
Such a pallet container with a wire mesh support jacket for the inner thin-walled plastic container is known from DE-B-30 39 635. The attachment of the wire mesh support jacket on the floor pallet - a common flat pallet e.g. made of wood - takes place by means of clasps, clamps or claws spanning the lowest horizontally rotating lattice bar. The clips or clasps can be nailed into the surface of the wooden pallet or screwed to the top plate of the pallet.
In another known pallet container (EP-A-0 438 718), individual pallet elements made of wood are connected to one another at a distance from one another via flat steel elements running for this purpose (for the use of the lifting forks of a forklift truck). The lattice support jacket or its lowermost horizontally encircling lattice bar is fastened to the base pallet by means of steel sheet brackets welded onto the flat steel elements. For industrial use of the pallet containers, they have to go through an official approval sample and thereby meet certain quality criteria. For example, internal pressure tests and drop tests with filled pallet containers from certain drop heights are carried out. The worst case is a diagonal fall on the lower end of the pallet on which the bottom outlet valve of the inner plastic container is arranged.
In the case of such a drop test, it has been shown that the inner container tries to shift in relation to the floor pallet due to the kinetic energy when it hits the floor; at the same time, the fastening tabs of the grid antels are torn off the floor pallet in other circumferential areas. The attachment of the lower edge of the wire mesh support jacket to the pallet therefore represents a very important weak point. Since the wire mesh support jacket is only fixed in a few places, the wire mesh is deformed and warped very unevenly; some of the welds at the grid crossing points tear apart and free wire rod ends can damage the thin-walled plastic container.
It is an object of the present invention to eliminate these disadvantages and to provide a pallet container in which simple fixation of the wire cage and plastic container on the floor pallet is provided and higher fall heights with more or less deformation of the wire cage and floor pallet without Damage (leakage) of the inner container can be guaranteed. This object is achieved according to the invention in that at least one vertical lattice bar of the wire mesh support jacket is elongated on each end face of the base pallet and is passed through a corresponding hole in the base pallet at least through the top plate or through the top and bottom plates of the base pallet is and is provided on the underside of the top plate or the bottom plate with a counter bearing and is fixedly connected to the floor pallet or fastened against it.
Due to the positive and non-positive fastening of the wire mesh support jacket by means of elongated bars inserted through the pallet, a secure attachment of the two components is ensured even under the highest loads with elastic and partial plastic deformation of the bars. Tearing off the fastening means of the lattice jacket from the pallet is certainly avoided.
In an embodiment according to the invention, the lattice bars passed through the top plate and / or bottom plate of the base pallet are provided with a thread at the lower end and are firmly attached to the base pallet from below by means of a washer and screw nut.
According to a further embodiment, the lattice bars guided through the top plate and / or bottom plate of the base pallet can be firmly welded or soldered to a metal disk on the underside of the base pallet. This ensures a simple and absolutely secure attachment of the lattice jacket to the floor pallet, which can be designed, for example, as a conventional wooden pallet, as a plastic pallet or a metal frame pallet and one stable substructure for the pallet container with 4-sided access for a forklift or lifting roller cart. In a further expedient embodiment of the invention, it is provided that, in addition to the individual vertical lattice bars inserted and fastened at the bottom, a plurality of further extended vertical lattice bars are inserted into corresponding further bores in the base pallet and support the lattice jacket in the radial direction. The bottom, horizontally encircling lattice bar of the wire lattice support jacket lies on the top plate and supports the lattice jacket in the axial direction against the floor pallet.
This ensures an absolutely secure fixation of the lower edge of the lattice jacket on the pallet in the radial and axial directions, so that U-frames or angle profiles for stiffening the lattice jacket edge can be completely dispensed with.
Es zeigen:The invention is explained and described in more detail below with reference to exemplary embodiments shown in the drawings. Show it:

Figure 7 shows the floor pallet. In FIG. 1, reference number 10 denotes a pallet container which essentially comprises an inner thin-walled plastic container 12, a wire mesh jacket 14 which tightly surrounds the plastic container 12, and a base pallet 16. In the partial cut area of the pallet 16, here a plastic pallet, it is indicated how an elongated vertical lattice rod 18 is inserted through the pallet 16 and fastened from below.
Für die Befestigung (Verschraubung/Verschweißung) des Gitter antels können auf jeder äußeren Stirnsei¬ te der Bodenpalette 16 aber auch drei, vier oder mehr verlängerte durch die Palette hindurchgeführte Gitterstäbe herangezogen werden.FIG. 2 shows a top view of the pallet container 10 on each outer end face of the base pallet 16, the arrangement of two elongated grating bars 18 which are passed through the pallet 16. The attachment (screwing / welding) of the grating antels can be done on each outer end face the bottom pallet 16 but also three, four or more elongated bars passed through the pallet can be used.
The design according to the invention of the plastic container, lattice jacket and floor pallet ensures that the pallet container can also be used, e.g. from the loading area of a truck with the consequence of partial deformation of the floor pallet and the lattice jacket but still liquid-tight inner container can be easily picked up and transported by a forklift truck.
Die Scheibenmutter kann zusätzlich durch einen Stift oder Nagel gegen unbeabsichtigtes Lösen fixiert sein.FIG. 3 shows an elongated, vertical lattice rod 18 of the wire mesh reinforcement jacket, which extends through a hole 20 through the entire pallet height with top plate 22 and bottom plate 24 and below by means of a screw nut 28 or washer nut (grain - combination of washer and nut) is attached. The washer nut can also be fixed against unintentional loosening by a pin or nail.
In FIG. 4 it can be seen that in addition to the individual vertical bars 18 which are pushed through and fastened from below, a plurality of further elongated bars 36 are inserted into corresponding further bores 38 in the base pallet and support the grid jacket 14 in the radial direction. These additional bars 36 need only be extended to the extent that they extend through the top plate 22. Furthermore, it can be seen that the lowermost horizontally rotating lattice rod 34 of the wire lattice support jacket 14 rests on the upper plate 22 of the pallet 16 and supports the lattice jacket 14 in the axial direction against the base pallet. This means e.g. an additional groove in the surface of the pallet or an angular frame placed on the pallet as a fixation against radial deformation of the lower wire mesh edge can be dispensed with.
A further possibility of fastening the extended lattice bars 18 on the underside of the pallet is shown in FIG. In this case, the lower end of the extended lattice rod 18, which is guided through the pallet 16, is welded or soldered to a hollow-conical metal disk 30. This type of fastening saves the application of threaded threads on the bars and can be implemented more quickly and cost-effectively. The metal disc 30 is expediently recessed into a recess 32 in the underside of the pallet, so that the grating bar 18 and the metal disc 30 with the Seal the weld 44 flush with the underside of the pallet.
In Figur 6 ist eine entsprechende Befestigungsmög¬ lichkeit mit einer hohlzylinderförmigen Metallschei¬ be 30 und versenkter Verschweißung 44 dargestellt, die mit einer flachen Auflage gegen den Paletten- unterboden einen besseren Sitz gegen Zugkräfte ge¬ währleistet.FIG. 6 shows a corresponding fastening possibility with a hollow cylindrical metal disc 30 and recessed weld 44, which, with a flat support against the pallet underbody, ensures a better fit against tensile forces.
Finally, FIG. 7 illustrates yet another of many other fastening options for the elongated lattice bars 18 on the underside of the pallet. The inserted vertical grating bars 18 are provided at their lower end with an eyelet, a hook 40 or similar connecting element and a horizontal locking bar 42 is inserted through the hooks 40 as a counter bearing. The locking rod 42 is sunk in the bottom of the pallet. This variant is very advantageous, for example, for simple and quick disassembly or disassembly of the pallet container into its individual elements during the final recycling of such a container. Expediently, the elongated lattice bars 18 provided with hooks 40 can simply be inserted into longitudinal slots 46 which are open from the outside, while the lowermost horizontally circumferential lattice bar 34 lying on top of the pallet surface is recessed in a correspondingly circumferential groove which is stamped or milled into the pallet surface. In the same way, corresponding grooves 48 are machined on the underside of the base pallet 16 and run along the end edges of the pallet, into which the locking bars 42 inserted and pulled out through the hooks 40 are sunk are arranged. A lattice jacket firmly connected to the floor pallet in this way - whether made of wood, plastic or other material - is much better able to convert the kinetic energy occurring in the event of a crash or floor impact into elastic and partial without substantial damage to the pallet container plastic deformation energy (low deformation of the wire mesh jacket and the impinging pallet end edge) to be implemented, so that a fallen pallet container can still be picked up and transported with a forklift truck, for example.
Of course, the idea according to the invention of fastening the lower edge of the supporting jacket to the base pallet can also be implemented in modifications of the pallet container described. For example, Instead of the wire mesh jacket or instead of the thinner wire mesh rods, hollow metal tube rods or tube rods - if necessary, only in. vertical direction - be provided. A plastic pallet - preferably made of regenerated plastic - is preferred as the floor pallet? however, a wooden pallet or metal pallet (sheet steel / metal frame construction) can also be used.
BEZUGSZIFFERNLISTEThe preferred type of fastening of the inserted bars is shown in FIG. 3 with detachable screw nuts. The detachable fastening of the lattice jacket and floor pallet makes it easier to dismantle the individual parts after the final use (recycling) of a used pallet container. REFERENCE NUMBER LIST
