Abstract
Description
The invention relates to formwork for shuttering the end faces of two adjacent component sections made of concrete of the type explained in the preamble of
Such formwork is known from DE-AS 1 259 546. In the known formwork, the expanded metal extends on both sides to the outer formwork wall, which delimits the outer surfaces of the component section. However, this means that the formwork parts made of metal are exposed to the outside or close to the surface and are therefore subject to increased corrosion.
The invention is therefore based on the object of providing a formwork of the type mentioned which has improved corrosion protection.
The object is achieved by the characterizing features of
By using a recessed concrete cover strip as the outer edge of the formwork of the end face, the metal formwork is kept at a sufficient distance from the surface of the concrete part to be poured. The recess in the concrete cover strip also creates a free space around the free edges of the metal formwork, which can later be filled with concrete so that it is well anchored is achieved in concrete.
In the case of component sections exposed to corrosion on both sides, concrete cover strips should be present on both sides according to claim 2.
The anchoring in the concrete that flows behind the metal rod is further improved by the metal rod arranged according to
The molded-in toothing groove according to claim 5 extends the path that any water that may have to travel and thus improves the corrosion protection.
The toothed grooves formed on both sides of the seal are particularly expedient and effective.
An exemplary embodiment of the invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the single drawing, which shows a cross section through a formwork according to the invention in plan view, the first component section having already been cast.
9 eingeformt, die parallel zur Wassersperre 4 verlaufen.FIG. 1 shows a
The
If necessary,
When the
In a modification of the described and drawn embodiment, a joint seal or the like can be provided instead of the water barrier. The longitudinal reinforcement can be omitted. Instead of the recess that is open on two sides, a slot-shaped recess may also be expedient under certain circumstances. If a corrosive load can only be expected from one side, it is sufficient to provide the concrete cover strip only on one side, while on the other side of the component section the metal formwork panel extends to the surface.
