Description

Polierscheiben. The invention relates to a mouthpiece for a vacuum cleaner on which the suction unit is articulated decentrally on a tilting joint, the weight of the suction unit acting outside of the center of gravity of the device and in particular electrically operated brushing and polishing machines for floor treatment with several brushing or polishing disks.

So far, spring relief systems of various types are known in the art. For example, DE utility model 3618803.4 shows the reduction of the pushing force of a vacuum cleaner nozzle on the surface with the aid of a spring.
However, a relief system that distributes the weight of a vacuum cleaner, which is connected decentrally to a mouthpiece, to all brush or bollard heads does not yet exist.
As a result of this missing device, the disks are worn to different extents depending on the weight force acting on them. This necessitates the frequent replacement of the disks, which are sometimes very worn due to the uneven weight distribution. This procurement of spare parts is associated with long-term high costs for the consumer.
The one-sided weight distribution also has a negative impact because the machine "runs away" when the floor is tiled. This phenomenon can be explained by the fact that the disc, which is more heavily loaded than the others, is pressed onto the surface so strongly that it has a driving effect and the machine swings out to the side. In order to operate effectively, the user of the machine must constantly apply back pressure against the shear, which requires unnecessary effort.

The object of the invention is therefore to ensure that the weight of the machine is distributed so evenly that the above-mentioned disadvantages no longer occur. This object is achieved by the invention set out in claim 1. The sub-claims 2 to 5 are advantageous embodiments of the invention.

The advantages of the inventive solution are, in particular, that none due to the uniform weight distribution of the machine over all disks one-sided wear of some discs occurs more. The disks have to be replaced less frequently and the spare parts costs are saved. The device also no longer swings out to the side, which means that working is much easier and more practical for the user.
A switch that automatically switches the device off when it is switched off ensures that it does not move automatically from its own place to a point on the front attachment even when the attachment is fully weight-bearing.

The subject matter of the invention is explained in more detail below on the basis of an illustrative embodiment.

Figure 1 shows the distribution of forces in the brushing and polishing machine, F₂ (4) being the center of gravity of the vacuum cleaner (2) outside the polisher (1) and F₁ (3) being the center of gravity of the polisher (1). Because of these forces (3 and 4), the contact force of the working discs (6) on the ground is different.
In order to compensate for this, compensating springs (11) are arranged on the tilt joint (8). You shift the weight force F₂ (4) lying outside the front attachment (1) to the hand load F₃ (5) and the center of gravity of the front attachment (1) F₁ (3).

Dazu sind am Drehpunkt (7) des Kippgelenks (8) in diesem Fall zwei Schwenkarme (9) angeordnet An diesen wirken über Führungsteile (10) die Druckfedern (11).For this purpose, two pivot arms (9) are arranged at the pivot point (7) of the tilting joint (8). The compression springs (11) act on these via guide parts (10).

The dashed lines (13) with the degrees of the working position of the tilt joint (8) show in their extensions (14) the associated position of the swivel arms (9). The design of the swivel arms (9), compression springs (11) and guide parts (10) must be chosen according to the type of other components and the problem. The compression springs (11) are relaxed when the tilt joint (8) is in a horizontal position, and when it is in a vertical position they support stability with little force distribution.
If the device is switched off or the tilt joint (8) is moved to a position of approx. 90 ° with the jam eye (2), a switch (12) is actuated by a swivel arm (10) from approx. 60 - 80 ° working position and thereby the device is switched off.
