Abstract
This invention relates to an improved ease-opened can, which includes a cover (2) with a pulled ring (3) thereon, a mounted seal (22) at the bottom surface, and a V-shaped end (21) for connecting with the upper surface (1) of the can, while the cover can be opened easily and reclosed the opening of the can, and the seal can effectively seal the container for reserving the drink in the can if it is not used up.
Description
- This invention relates to a drink can with a cover which can be opened easily, and if the drink in the can has not been used up after the cover is opened, the cover can be reclosed the opening of the can to seal and reserve the drink.
- In the prior art, the structure of the known ease-opened can is shown as in figure 5. It is a cylindric container which has provided with a formed drop-like slice (4) on the upper surface (1) of the can. A ring (41) is connected with the slice (4) at the center portion of the upper surface (1). In use, men pull the ring (41) and saparate the slice (4) from the surface (1), meanwhile leaving a opening thereof for drinking. The drawbacks of this structure are as following:
- (a) Due to the connection of the ring (41) and the upper surface (1) is without space, it is difficult to lift the ring (41) and saparate it from the can.
- (b) When the ring is pulled, it is usually broken at the connection part of the ring and can surface because of the bad welding. If it happens, the slice is unable to be opened and the drink in the can is unable to be drunk.
- (c) The slice can not be used again when it has been saparated from the can surface. If the drink is not be used up in one time, it may not be well reserved without sealing.
- It is the primary objective of this invention to overcome the aforesaid problems.
- The main objective of the present invention is to provide an improved ease-opeden can, which may be opened very easily.
- Another objective of the present invention is to provide a can with a cover which can be opened and may be reclosed the opening of the can.
- A further objective of the present invention is to provide a can which has a good connection between the cover and the can surface to avoid from any damage thereof.
- These and other objectives and advantages of the present invention will become apparent after a reading of the detailed description provided hereinbelow, with appropriate reference to the attached drawings.
-
- Figure 1 is a perspective view of an ease-opened can in accordance with the present invention.
- Figure 2 is a cross-sectional view from line A-A of figure 1 according to the present invention.
- Figure 3 is a cross-sectional view from line B-B of figure 1 according to the present invention.
- Figure 4 is a part perspective view of the can in its open manner of this invention.
- Figure 5 is a perspective view of a prior known ease-opened can.
- Referring to the figures, and particularly to figure 1, it can be seen that the present invention includes a cylindric body which has an upper surface (1) thereon. An opening (11) with a convex curved edge (111) is formed on the surface (1) together with a connecting gap (12) at the center of it. A cover (2) is provided one end with a V-shaped connecting end (21) to insert into the gap (12) and to be combinated thereof. A seal (22) mounted on the cover (2) has provided with arc edges and a tongue at the circular end which forms a spacing (23) between the seal (22) and the cover (2). As in closed manner, the seal (22) is just closing the opening (11) of the can and the curved end (111) is engaged within the spacing (23) effectively as shown in figure 2. A tube (24) is provided on the cover (2). A pulled ring (3) having a straight part is pivotally connected within the tube (24) on the cover (2), which can be changed the position easily.
- As in figure 1 of its closed manner, the curved edge (111) is engaged within the tongue of the seal (22) to maintain a fixedly closed manner (figure 2), and the curved edge of the seal (22) is effectively sealing the opening (11) of the can because of their elastic contact (figure 3). In use, men can pull the ring (3) to a suitable position and then open the cover (2) easily. If the drink in the can is not drunk up, it is capabale of closing the opening (11) easily by recover the cover (2) thereon. Due to the elastic of the cover (2) and the edge of the opening (11), the curved edge (111) is again engaged in the spacing (23) and it obtains a good sealing therebetween for reserving the drink in the can.
- It can be understood that the present invention comprises the following advantages:
- a) It can be opened and reclosed for reserving the drink fresh in the can, when the drink is not used up in one time.
- b) Due to the ring can be put to any desired position, men can pull the ring up easily.
- c) The cover will be never broken or lapsed, because of the well connection between the V-shaped part of the cover and the upper surface of the can.
- d) The sealing between the seal and the opening is airproofed because of the elastic contact of the edges of both. It is, therefore, capable of reserving the drink, such as soda or beer, for a wild utilities.
- While the invention has been explained in relation to this preferred embodiments, it is to be understood that various modifications thereof will become apparent to those skilled in the art upon reading this specification. Thus, it will be most appreciated that the invention disclosed herein is intended to cover all such modifications as fall within the scope of the appended claims.
