Abstract

The bogie has a frame (8) with an axle at each end. Each axle is supported in bearings (2) mounted on springs (7) so that each bearing has a limited degree of longitudinal movement w.r.t the frame. Each bearing (2) is connected by a pivoted link (5) to one end of a central link (9) which is pivoted to the frame. The linkages are so arranged that the two bearings on the same side of the frame either move simultaneously towards each other or away from each other.

Description

The invention relates to a bogie with steered wheelsets, in which the wheelsets are guided radially adjustable by the handlebars.

From DE-AS 16 05 826 a bogie is known in which the wheel sets are guided in a radially adjustable manner by two links acting on diametrically located wheel set bearings. The handlebars connected to the wheelset bearings are non-rotatably connected to a shaft in the center of the bogie with a shaft, which is rotatably mounted in a bogie frame lying transverse to the direction of travel. The two levers are offset by 180 ° to each other, so that when driving through a curve after starting the front wheel set and its radial adjustment on the center of curvature of the curve via the handlebars, the following wheel set can also adjust radially towards the center of curvature. Such a steering device has the decisive disadvantage that no transmission of tensile and impact forces from the front to the rear wheelset is possible via the steering mechanism.

This is where the invention comes in, the object of which is to develop a steering mechanism in accordance with the generic term in such a way that transmission of the pulling and pushing force from one wheel set to the other is possible, without affecting the radial adjustability of the wheel sets below.

The problem is solved on the one hand in that each wheel of a wheelset is guided in first and second wheelset bearings and the torque-locking connection of the two wheels of a wheelset takes place by means of a cardan shaft, for example a cardan shaft, each wheel being assigned a joint that the first wheelset bearing is connected to a first link and a first lever and the second wheelset bearing is connected to a second link and a second lever, the two levers being connected in a rotationally fixed manner and offset by 180 ° to one another with a first shaft, which lies transversely to the direction of travel in long girders of the bogie frame is rotatably mounted that a second wheel set is functionally connected to the first wheel set via connecting links, a second shaft being provided symmetrically to the central transverse plane, which controls the wheel set in the same way as the wheel set via link and lever.

A particular advantage of this design is that the run-up angle in the curve can be set to zero. Both wheels of the wheel set can be driven in a relatively simple manner by the motor via the cardan shaft.

In another way, the object can be achieved in that the bogie has four idler wheels, each idler wheel being mounted in the wheelset bearing by means of a pivot axis, which is guided elastically in the long beam of the bogie frame, that the pivot axes extended via each idler wheel are connected to handlebars, that a first and second link on one side of the bogie are connected to the ends of a first lever, that a third and fourth link on the other side of the bogie are connected to the ends of a second lever, the first and second levers which stand vertically in the middle position are connected in a rotationally fixed manner to a shaft which is rotatably mounted in the long girders of a bogie frame lying in the center of the bogie transversely to the direction of travel, and that the first and fourth links are connected to the lower end of the first and second lever, respectively, while the second and third links are connected to the upper ends of the first and second levers, respectively.

A bogie with idler wheels has the advantage that the path compensation between the inside and outside running wheels is possible without constraint when the sheet is running. Since the space between the idler gears is free, it can be used for a deep, continuous floor. For this purpose, the shaft lying at the level of the wheelset bearings can also be stored lower in the bogie frame.

The embodiment of the invention with pivotable wheel pairs is shown in Figure 1. Each wheel 16 of the bogie is by means of two wheelset bearings 2a, 2b performed, which guide the wheel 16 longitudinally and transversely elastic in the bogie frame, not shown. A wheelset bearing 2a is connected to the first link 3 and a second wheelset bearing 2b is connected to the second link 4. Both links 3 and 4 are non-rotatably connected via the first and second levers 9 and 11 to the first shaft 10a, which is rotatably supported in the long beam 8. The two levers 9 and 11 are offset by 180 °. The wheel set on the other side of the bogie is connected in the same way via the shaft 10 lying transversely to the direction of travel. To transmit the torque of an engine, the wheels of the wheel set 1 are connected by a cardan shaft 17, which can be designed as a cardan shaft. With this invention, the wheel 16, like the other wheels of the bogie, is able to pivot about an ideal point 18. When cornering, the swivel angle results from the free play of the forces and moments of the wheels of the wheel set 1 connected by shaft 8.

The connection of the two wheel sets 1 and 1a of the bogie is shown schematically in Figure 2. The first shaft 10a is connected via a connecting link 19 to a second shaft 10b which, like the shaft 10a, is connected to the wheel set 1b via a link and lever.

The connection is to be designed so that in the first link 3 a link 3a and the second link 4 a link 4a of the second wheel set 1a is assigned.

In order to bring about a complete path compensation of the wheels when cornering, it is proposed according to FIG. 3 to design all the wheels as idler wheels. The wheel 16 is freely suspended in the wheelset bearing 2, which in turn is elastically mounted in the long beam, not shown, of the bogie frame. An axis of rotation 19 is extended beyond the wheel 16 and like that remaining wheels connected to handlebars 3 to 6, which are interconnected via levers and the shaft 10.

Figur 4 zeigt das mit Losrädern 16 ausgeführte Drehgestell in der Seitenansicht.FIG. 4 shows the bogie designed with idler gears 16 in a side view.

The connection of the handlebars takes place, as shown in Figure 5. From Figure 5, the position of the handlebars 3 to 6 can be seen in a spatial representation. The links 3 and 5 and the links 4 and 6 are each offset by 180 °. The links 3 and 4 are also articulated by 180 ° at the ends of the first lever 9, while the links 5 and 6 are articulated at the ends of the second lever 11. The levers 9 and 11 are rotatably connected by the shaft 10 which is rotatably mounted in the indicated long beams 8 of the bogie frame.

When driving through a curved track, it is easy to see that when the wheelset bearing 2 on one bogie side moves in the direction of a first vector 12, the wheelset bearing 2 on the same side moves in the direction of a second vector 13 and the two wheelset bearings 2 on the other side inevitably move around move the same path in the direction of the third and fourth vectors 14 and 15, so that the wheel sets 1 assume the position shown in a dashed line and are oriented toward the center of curvature of a curved track.
