Claims (13)

  1. Rotatable handle, in particular window handle (10), having a handle neck (12) which at its lower end includes a stud (18) with a chamfered bead (21), further having a main handle portion (14) joined to the handle neck top and having a base plate (30) through which screw holes (33) extend, the base plate comprising a central bush (34) for guiding the handle neck (12) to be fitted therein rotatably but axially firm, the handle neck having a square hole (28) for receiving a form-fitting square driving pin (B), the base plate (30) including springs (35) which are arranged on at least two opposite sides (50) and are provided with locking projections (36), characterized in that the bead (21) includes portions that are compressible owing to cuts (24) parallel to an axis (A) as the handle neck stud (18) is axially introduced into the bush (34) and in that the handle neck stud (18) is adapted to be simultaneously locked in a peripheral direction (U) by means of locking recesses (26) arranged in the plane of the matching locking projections (36).
  2. Handle according to claim 1, wherein the cuts (24) terminate before a shoulder (16) of the handle neck (12) and are associated to the flats of the square hole (28).
  3. Handle according to claim 1 or claim 2, wherein the locking projections are trapezoid lugs (36) and wherein the locking recesses are trapezoid notches (26) parallel to the axis (A).
  4. Handle according to claim 3, wherein the handle neck stud (18) comprises at least four locking recesses (26), preferably arranged at angles of 90° to each other.
  5. Rotatable handle, according to any one of claims 1 to 4, including a cover plate (40) that is rotatable around the axis (A) of the stud (18) or of the handle neck (12), respectively, wherein the handle neck stud (18) is adapted to be locked in the bush (34) with the self-resilient cover plate (40) in between.
  6. Handle according to claim 5, wherein the cover plate (40) is adapted to be elastically lifted off the base plate (30) by a cover plate rim (42).
  7. Handle according to claim 5 or claim 6, wherein the resiliency of the cover plate (40) is soft as compared to the locking of the handle neck stud (18).
  8. Handle according to any one of claims 5 to 7, wherein the cover plate (40) comprises a central through hole (48) and adjacent thereto a bendable spring (44).
  9. Handle according to claim 8, wherein the bendable spring (44) is integral with the cover plate (40).
  10. Handle according to claim 9, wherein the bendable spring (44) is a component folded or part-punched out of the cover plate (40).
  11. Handle according to any one of claims 8 to 10, wherein the bendable spring (44) comprises two or more arches (46), legs or the like which project over the top side of the cover plate (40) and bear on a shoulder (16) of the handle neck (12).
  12. Handle according to claim 11, wherein the spring arches (46), legs or the like are arranged near or along the long sides (50) of the cover plate (40).
  13. Handle according to at least one of claims 1 to 12, wherein all its parts are made of the same material, in particular of plastics.
