Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Duschabtrennung gemäß den im Oberbegriff des Patentanspruchs 1 angegebenen Merkmalen.The invention relates to a shower partition according to the features specified in the preamble of claim 1.

Aus der US-A-30 60 453 ist eine derartige Duschabtrennung mit einem vertikalen Element bekannt, welches seitlich einer Eintrittsöffnung und von den festen Wänden des Badezimmers oder Duschraumes beabstandes angeordnet ist. Dieses vertikale Element enthält einen Hohlraum für eine Wasserleitung und zumindest teilweise auch für eine mit der Wasserleitung verbundenen Armatur. Das vertikale Element weist zwei in einem spitzen Winkel zueinander angeordnete Seitenteile auf, welche Bestandteil eines spiralartig den Duschinnenraum umschließenden Wandelements sind. Der neben der Eintrittsöffnung befindliche Teil des spiralartigen Wandelements wird von einer weiteren Platte oder Wandstruktur verdeckt und abgeschlossen. Diese Wandstruktur vervollständigt ferner das genannte Element und bildet eine Frontfläche, hinter welcher der Duschinnenraum und wesentliche Bereiche des feststehenden Wandelements für einen außerhalb stehendenden Betrachter oder Benutzer der Duschabtrennung verborgen wird. Die Frontfläche und die Einstiegsöffnung liegen im wesentlichen in der gleichen vertikalen Ebene. Das im Querschnitt etwa dreieckförmig ausgebildete vertikale Element enthält im Inneren eine Tragkonstruktion, welche die Eintrittsöffnung entsprechend einem Türrahmen umgibt. Das spiralartig ausgebildete Wandelement enthält als integrale Bestandteile beide Seitenteile des vertikalen Elements. Das Wandelement mit den Seitenteilen weist insgesamt ein großes Volumen auf, wodurch nicht unerhebliche Transport- und Lagerhaltungsprobleme bedingt sind. Ferner ist die Montage dieser Duschabtrennung aufwendig, zumal nicht nur das spiralartige Wandelement, sondern zusätzlich die als Rahmen wirkende Tragkonstruktion aufgebaut und ferner die Wandstruktur an der Frontfläche montiert werden müssen. Nach der Montage ist der Innenraum des vertikalen Elements nicht mehr ohne weiteres zugänglich. Die Wasserleitungen und die Armatur des vertikalen Elements müssen vor der Montage der Duschabtrennung ihrerseits schon installiert worden sein und eventuelle nachträglich notwendige Service- und Reparaturarbeiten erfordern einen nicht unerheblichen Aufwand. Die DE-A-27 17 648 betrifft eine vorgefertigte Sanitärwand zur Aufstellung in Waschräumen oder dergleichen, welche ein Abteil bzw. einen Hohlraum zur Aufnahme der Wasserleitungen und notwendigen Armaturen. Eine Seitenwand des Abteils ist an das feststehende Wandelement angeformt und an einer Vorderwand des genannten Abteils sind Betätigungselemente, Wasserausläufe und andere Sanitärelemente, angeordnet. Das Abteil weist einen rechtwinklig-dreieckförmigen Grundriß auf und ist an seiner dritten, senkrecht zum Wandelement verlaufenden Seite offen ausgebildet und wird dort im Einbauzustand von der Wand des Waschraumes abgedeckt. Zur Verbindung der genannten Armaturen mit den fest im Waschraum bzw. der genannten Wand installierten Rohrleitungen sind flexible Leitungen notwendig, wobei die Montage der Sanitärwand erst nach Herstellung der entsprechenden Verbindungen durchgeführt werden kann. Es ist aus Aluminium bzw. einer Aluminiumlegierung in Form einer Hohlkammerprofilschiene gefertigt. Das Blendprofil 38 ist im wesentlichen halbzylindrisch im Querschnitt ausgebildet und mit einer Schnappverbindung mit dem Halteprofil 36 verbunden. Hierzu weist das Halteprofil 36 einen nach außen gerichteten Haken 46 auf, hinter welchen das Blendprofil 38 mit einem nach innen gerichteten Haken 48 eingreift. Auch auf der anderen Seite ist eine vergleichbare Schnappverbindung vorgesehen, allerdings ist dort ein zusätzliches Klemmprofil 50 vorhanden, welches mit dem Halteprofil 36 verbunden ist. Das Klemmprofil 50 enthält gleichfalls einen nach außen gerichteten Haken 52, welcher wiederum von einem Haken 54 des Blendprofils 38 hintergriffen wird. Mit dem Klemmprofil 50 wird die Glasscheibe des Wandelements 6 mit dem Halteprofil 36 fest verbunden. Das Klemmprofil 50 erfüllt somit eine Doppelfunktion und ist mittels hier nicht weiter dargestellten Schraubverbindungen an dem Halteprofil 36 befestigt. Auch die Schraubverbindungen für das Klemmprofil werden folglich mittels des Klemmprofils 38 nach außen hin abgedeckt.Figure 2 shows an enlarged section through the central column 18 in a horizontal plane. In das Halteprofil 36 ist hierfür die Ausnehmung 62 eingebracht worden, wie es durch die gestrichelten Linien angedeutet ist. Die Befestigung und Montage des Ablegefachs 60, wobei in geeigneter Weise auch ein Boden und eine Decke vorgesehen werden, erfolgt bei abgenommenem Blendprofil 38. Auch das Ablegefach 60 ist aus einer Profilschiene aus Aluminium oder einer Legierung desselben gefertigt. Ggfs. kann das Ablegefach einschließlich Boden und Decke auch aus Kunststoff gefertigt werden und durch die Ausnehmung 62 hindurch in das Halteprofil 36 eingesetzt werden. Das Ablegefach 60 weist auf der Vorderseite einen schmalen Rand 64 auf und ist im Inneren der Säule 18 über einen Ansatz 66 und eine Schraube 68 auf dem Klemmprofil 50 abgestützt. Das Klemmprofil 50 ist mit einer Schraube 70 mit dem Halteprofil 36 verbunden. Es bedarf keiner besonderen Hervorhebung, daß das Klemmprofil 50 sich im wesentlichen über die gesamte vertikale Höhe des festen Wandelements 6 erstreckt. Eine dichte Verbindung, welche das Austreten von Spritzwasser verhindert, ist vorhanden. Vertikal beabstandet weist das Klemmprofil 50 einige Bohrungen 72 für die Schrauben 70 auf. Hingegen enthält das Halteprofil 36 einen Schraubkanal 74, der sich über die gesamte Länge erstreckt, so daß keine besonderen Ausrichtmaßnahmen bei der Montage des Klemmprofils 50 notwendig sind. Aufgrund des sich über die gesamte Länge erstreckenden Schraubkanals 74, in welchen die Schrauben 70 von der Seite her horizontal eingeschraubt werden, entfallen besondere Vorarbeiten im Hinblick auf Bohrungen oder gar Gewindeschneiden für die Schrauben.FIG. 3 shows a mirror image of the area III according to FIG. 2, the opening area of the storage compartment 60 also being recognizable. Figur 4 zeigt spiegelbildlich in einer Detailabbildung den Ausschnitt IV gemäß Fig. 2. Es ist hier gut der Haken 48 des Blendprofils 38 zu erkennen, welcher Haken 48 in eine Nut 76 eingreift, die zwischen dem Haken 46 und der Innenwand des Halteprofils 36 vorhanden ist. Obgleich auf dieser Seite des Halteprofils 36 kein Wandelement befestigt ist, ist gleichwohl das Klemmprofil 50 vorgesehen. Somit kann wahlweise auf der einen oder der anderen Seite des Halteprofils das Wandelement dicht befestigt werden. Das Ablegefach 60 mit dem Ansatz 66 kann daher symmetrisch zur Mittelebene 56 ausgebildet sein und übereinstimmend wie auf der anderen Seite hier befestigt werden.FIG. 4 shows the detail IV of FIG. 2 in a mirror image as a mirror image. Fig. 5 zeigt in einer perspektivischen Darstellung ein weiteres Ausführungsbeispiel, und zwar als freitehende Duschabtrennung. Die beiden Wandelemente 6, 8 sind nicht über Wandanschlußprofile mit Raumwänden verbunden, sondern über Verbindungsprofile 80 mit zwei weiteren Wandelementen 7, 9 verbunden. Die insgesamt vier Wandelemente 6 bis 9 umschließen den Duschinnenraum spiralartig, wobei diese Duschabtrennung insgesamt frei im Badezimmer oder dergleichen steht. Die Unterkanten 82 der Wandelemente stehen auf einem entsprechend ausgebildeten Wannenrand oder auf dem Boden unmittelbar auf, welcher mit geeigneten Dichtungsmitteln abgedichtet ist und eine Wasserabflußöffnung enthält. Die zentrale Säule 18 ist nach unten mit einem unteren Endteil 84 bezüglich den Unterkanten 82 verlängert ausgeführt. Dieses untere Endteil 84 ist in die oben erwähnte Vertiefung 42 der Duschwanne oder in eine entprechende Vertiefung de Bodens eingesetzt, wodurch eine hohe Standsicherheit der zentralen Säule 18 und somit insgesamt der Duschtrennwand erreicht wird. Die zentrale Säule 18 enthält ferner ein oberes Endteil 86, welches als Deckenstütze ausgebildet ist und an der Decke des Badezimmers oder Duschraumes verankert ist. Das obere Endteil 86 ragt über die Oberkante 88 der Wandelemente mit einer derartigen Länge hinaus, daß die Befestigung an der Decke erfolgen kann. In entsprechnder Weise ist auch das Eckprofil 22 und eines der Verbindungsprofile 80 mit einem oberen Endteil zwecks Befestigung an der Decke des Badezimmers verlängert. Die für die freistehnde Ausführungsform der Duschabtrennung vorgesehenen Wandelemente 6, 8, die zentrale Säule 18 sowie das Eckprofil 22, stimmen mit denen der an Hand von Fig. 1 bis 4 erläuterten Ausführungsform der Duschabtrennung überein. Hierdurch ergeben sich nicht unerhebliche Fertigungs- und Kotenvorteile. Darüber hinaus sind bei der freistehenden Ausführungsform gemäß Fig. 5 das Wandelement 7 entsprechend dem Wandelement 6 und das Wandelement 9 entprechnd dem Wandelement 8 ausgebildet, wodurch ersichtlich zusätzliche Vorteile hinsichtlich Fertigung und Lagerhaltung erreicht werden.Fig. 5 shows a perspective view of another embodiment, namely as a free-standing shower partition. The upper end part 86 protrudes beyond the upper edge 88 of the wall elements with a length such that it can be attached to the ceiling. In a corresponding manner, the corner profile 22 and one of the connecting profiles 80 is also extended with an upper end part for the purpose of attachment to the ceiling of the bathroom. The wall elements 6, 8 provided for the free-standing embodiment of the shower partition, the central column 18 and the corner profile 22 coincide with those of the embodiment of the shower partition explained with reference to FIGS. 1 to 4. This results in significant manufacturing and cost advantages. In addition, in the free-standing embodiment according to FIG. 5, the wall element 7 is designed in accordance with the wall element 6 and the wall element 9 is designed in accordance with the wall element 8, as a result of which additional advantages with regard to production and storage are evident.

Claims (10)

  1. Shower Partition, having a stationary wall element (6) and having a vertically arranged element to which a fitting (32) is secured and which has a hollow space (40) for receiving a water line (34, 35) and at least partially the fitting (32) connected to the water line (34, 35), the stationary wall element (6) being connected in sealed manner to the vertical element next to which there is provided an entry opening (20), the hollow space (40) being covered at least in the region of the fitting (32), characterized in that the vertical element is constructed as a central column (18) containing a fixedly and vertically arranged holding profile rail (36) and a screening profile rail (38) which is constructed to be removable at least over some of the total height of the holding profile rail (36) from the latter, in that the fitting (32) is secured to the holding profile rail (36), and in that the stationary wall element (6) terminates at the central column (18) and is connected in sealed manner to the central column (18) by way of a vertical side edge.
  2. Shower partition according to Claim 1, characterized in that a further wall element (8) is drawn further than the central column (18) into a shower room or bathroom as far as a corner profile (22), the entry opening (20) lying between the corner profile (22) and the central column (19), and/or in that the first stationary wall element (6) is connected substantially at a right angle with respect to the entry opening (20) to the central column (18).
  3. Shower partition according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the screening profile rail (38) is connected to the holding profile rail (36) by means of a detachable snap-in connection.
  4. Shower partition according to one of Claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the central column 18 has an upper end part (86), extending beyond the upper edge (89) of the wall element (6, 8), for securing to a ceiling of the shower room or bathroom, and/or in that the central column (18) is anchored in a depression (42) of a shower tray (12) or of the floor by means of a lower end part (84).
  5. Shower partition according to one of Claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the central column (18) has an inner side (19) which is preferably constructed to be flat and on which parts of the fitting (32), having adjusting elements, in particular adjusting taps (33), and/or a shower head (28) are arranged, and in that there is arranged on the outer side (25) of the central column (18) facing the entry opening (20) the screening profile rail (38) which is constructed as a substantially semi-cylindrical shell.
  6. Shower partition according to one of Claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the entry opening (20) is in the region of a vertical plane through which there runs in particular a line (17) bisecting the angle between two fixed room walls (2, 4), and in that the fitting (32) and/or the shower head (28) are substantially arranged in this plane and are appropriately directed towards the interior of the shower cubicle.
  7. Shower partition according to one of Claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the side edge of the stationary wall element (6) can be connected by way of a clamping profile (50) to the holding profile rail (36), and/or in that the holding profile rail (36) has on at least one side a screw channel (74) which extends over the entire height and into which screws (70) for the clamping profile (50) are screwed.
  8. Shower partition according to one of Claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the cross-sectional area of the central column (18) is substantially larger than that of the corner profile (22) or of a wall connection profile (10) for the wall element (6).
  9. Shower partition according to one of Claims 1 to 8, characterized in that the holding profile rail (36) has a continuous opening (62) into which there is inserted a storage compartment, in particular a storage profile (60), which projects as far as into the hollow space (40) of the column (18) and is accessible from the inside of the tray.
  10. Shower partition according to one of Claims 1 to 9, characterized in that the holding profile rail (36) is constructed as a hollow chamber profile having a substantially rectangular cross-section, and in that the screening profile rail (38) is substantially constructed as a semi-cylindrical shell whereof the radius is approximately half the size of the width of the holding profile rail (36), and/or in that the holding profile rail (36) faces the interior of the shower tray by means of a broad, preferably planar inner side (19), the rounded-off screening profile rail (38) facing the entry opening (20).
