Abstract

The device comprises an upper frame (20) connected by means of uprights (22, 23) and by means of a support leg (24) to a lower chassis (21). Vertical slides (15 to 15e) extend between the upper frame (20) and the lower chassis (21). These vertical slides (15 to 15e) each support a sliding gear (14 to 14e) equipped with a roller (13 to 13e), intended to apply a mechanical tension to each metallised web (4 to 4e). Upper (17 to 17e) and lower (18 to 18e) end of path switches and web break switches (19 to 19e) monitor the rotational control of the bobbin-carrier cores (10 to 10e). <IMAGE>
