Description

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Kniehebelspannvorrichtung gemäß Oberbegriff des Hauptanspruches.The invention relates to a toggle lever tensioning device according to the preamble of the main claim.

Eine derartige Kniehebelspannvorrichtung ist nach der US-A-3 792 853 bekannt und eine im Prinzip ähnliche nach der US-A-3 924 844. Abgesehen von der einfachen Ausbildungsform des Sperrhebels, der keines besonderen Sperrgliedes bedarf, ist das die Entspannungssperre aufweisende gehäuseseitige Ende des Sperrhebels zur Ausbildung einer Spannstellungssperre in Form einer Spannbacke mit herangezogen, die sich keilartig an einer Spannbackenanlagefläche des Gehäuses in Spannstellung abstützt. Zur Lösung dieser Spannstellungssperre ist lediglich der Sperrhebel gegen den Betätigungshebel zu drücken, wodurch sich die Sperre löst und die in bezug auf das Gehäuse beweglichen Glieder in Entspannungsstellung gebracht werden können, um dann dort verrastet zu werden, wie dies auch bei der Vorrichtung nach der US-A-3 792 853 möglich ist. Durch die erfindungsgemäße Ausbildung ändert sich praktisch nichts an der bisher üblichen konstruktiven Gestaltung derartiger Kniehebelspannvorrichtungen, da der Sperrhebel in gleicher Richtung wie der Betätigungshebel orientiert abgesehen von der Druckfeder als einziges und einfaches Additiv dem Betätigungshebel hinzuzufügen ist. Im Bereich des Anlenkzapfens für den Sperrhebel muß der Zwischenraum zwischen den parallelen Schenkeln des Betätigungshebels nicht erweitert werden, da die vorteilhaft als Hülsenfeder ausgebildete Druckfeder außerhalb dieses Gelenkes zwischen Betätigungs- und Sperrhebel, völlig geschützt zwischen diesen beiden Hebeln, angeordnet werden kann. Bei der Schwenkbewegung des Betätigungshebels, mit der der Spannarm in Spannstellung gebracht wird, wird der ständig unter Federdruck stehende Sperrhebel einfach mitgeschleppt und automatisch im oben genannten Sinne in Sperrstellung gebracht. Vorteilhaft ist dafür das Gehäuse hinter der Spannbackenanlagefläche mit einer Abrundung versehen, über die das Sperrende des Sperrhebels bequem gleiten kann. In Rücksicht auf das Ansatzerfordernis der Druckfeder, die Anlenkung an den Betätigungshebel und auch darauf, daß der Sperrhebel in bezug auf sein Gelenk am Betätigungshebel eine gewisse Distanz haben muß, ist der Sperrhebel vorteilhaft aus einem einzigen Stanzzuschnitt gebildet, der dann durch Abkantverformung zum Sperrhebel mit U-förmigem Querschnitt verformt wird, zwischen dessen freien Schenkeln an geeigneter Stelle die Druckfeder fixiert ist. Wie aus den Fig. 1 bis 3 erkennbar, besteht die Kniehebelspannvorrichtung aus einem Gehäuse 6 mit an dessen Seitenwangenwänden 6' schwenkbar gelagertem Spannarm 11 und Betätigungshebel 1, der mit einem am Gehäuse 6 verrastbaren, federbelasteten Sperrhebel 3 versehen ist. Bezüglich der Sperrausbildung ist diese Vorrichtung derart ausgebildet, daß der am gerade ausgebildeten Betätigungshebel 1 oberhalb des Spannarmgelenkes 2 angelenkte Sperrhebel 3 in gleicher Richtung orientiert ist wie der Betätigungshebel 1, d.h., im dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel schließen der Betätigungshebel 1 und der Sperrhebel einen spitzen Winkel ein. Zwischen Betätigungs- und Sperrhebel 1, 3 ist eine Druckfeder 4 oberhalb des Sperrhebelgelenkes 14 verspannt angeordnet. Das Sperrende 5 des Sperrhebels 3 ist an diesem in Form einer sich in Sperrstellung am Gehäuse 6 keilartig abstützenden Spannbacken 7 ausgebildet. Wie aus Fig. 1 ersichtlich, ist dabei der Sperrhebel als Winkelhebei ausgebildet und mit seinem kurzen Schenkel 15 am Betätigungshebel 1 bzw. am Gelenk 14 angelenkt. Um diesen Sperrhebel 3 als einfach herzustellendes Preßformteil mit der nötigen Steifigkeit herstellen zu können, besteht der Sperrhebel aus einem einzigen Stanzzuschnitt, der, zumindest im in Fig. 1 dargestellten Bereich zu einem im Querschnitt U-förmigen Bügel 3' verformt wird. In Fig. 1 ist dieser U-förmige Querschnitt gestrichelt angedeutet. Am Zugriffsende ist der Sperrhebel 3 in bekannter Weise mit einem Griffstück 9 überzogen. Die freien Enden des kurzen Schenkels 15 des Sperrhebels 3 sind, wie aus Fig. 3 ersichtlich, nach innen abgekröpft, so daß diese, wie aus Fig. 3 erkennbar, zwischen die beiden Schenkel des Betätigungshebels 1 am Gelenk 14 eingefügt und dort gelenkig mit dem Betätigungshebel 1 verbunden werden können. Die Druckfeder4istim dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel in Form einer Hülsenfeder bzw. einer sogenannten Rebenscherenfeder ausgebildet, die mit ihren Enden an stiftförmigen Haltern 8 der beiden Hebel 1, 3 fixiert ist. Sofern solche Stifte als Halter 8 benutzt werden, ist, wie dargestellt, der Betätigungshebel 1 mit in seinen Schenkeln angeordneten Sicken 13 versehen, zwischen die der Halter 8 einfach eingetrieben wird. Am Sperrhebel 3 wird der Halter 8 in geeigneterweise fixiert. Statt Stiften können jedoch auch ohne weiteres andere Halter 8 bspw. in Form kleiner Aufnahmetöpfe, vorgesehen werden, und ferner ist es möglich, falls an den Hebeln geeignete Flächenbereiche vorhanden sind, wie dies hierauf den Sperrhebel 3 zutrifft, die Halter 8 in Form kleiner Punseneinprägungen auszubilden, auf denen die offenen Enden bzw. ein offenes Ende der Druckfeder 4 sitzt. Wie erwähnt, weist das Gehäuse 6 der Vorrichtung zwei Seitenwangenwände 6' auf, an denen der Betätigungshebel 1 und der Spannarm 11 gelagert sind. Die Oberkanten dieser Seitenwangenwände 6' bilden dabei die geneigt verlaufenden Spannbackenanlageflächen 10 für die Spannbacken 7 des Sperrhebels, wobei die Seitenwangenwände 6' hinter den beiden Spannbackenanlageflächen 10 mit einer Abrundung 16 versehen sind, die das Übergleiten des Sperrendes 5 aus der strichpunktierten Entspannungsstellung in die Spannstellung erleichtert. Im übrigen ist der Betätigungshebel 1 in bekannter Weise mit dem Spannarm 11 durch ein Zwischenglied 17 verbunden, für dessen Anlenkung zweckmäßig das Gelenk 15 für die Anlenkung des Sperrhebels 3 mit ausgenutzt ist. Um den Spannarm 11 aus seiner durch die Spannbacke 7 des Sperrhebels 3 blockierten Spannstellung, wie in Fig. 1 dargestellt, zu lösen, bedarf es lediglich eines Druckes auf den Sperrhebel 3, wodurch die Spannbacke 7 von der Spannbackenanlagefläche 10 des Gehäuses 6 abgehoben wird, und der Betätigungshebel 1 kann dann ohne weiteres im Uhrzeigersinn in die strichpunktiert dargestellte Entspannungsstellung verschwenkt werden. Beim Rückschwenken in die Spannstellung wird der unter Federdruck am Gehäuse 6 anliegende Sperrhebel 13 einfach mitgeschleppt und gleitet dabei über die Abrundungen 16 der beiden Seitenwangen 6' des Gehäuses 6 und rastet bei Erreichen der Spannstellung automatisch, wie dargestellt, an den Spannbackenanlageflächen 10 ein, wobei sich eine Verkeilung des Betätigungshebels 1 ergibt. Wie aus Fig. 1 erkennbar, ist die Sperre 18 des Sperrhebels 3, in einfacher Weise dadurch verwirklicht, daß am Sperrende 5 mindestens auf einer Seite ein Sperrhebelverriegelungsfortsatz 19 integral mit angeformt wird, der durch eine Abkröpfung 21 außen an der Gehäusewand 6' vorbeistreichen kann und in äußerster Entspannungsstellung, wie dargestellt, den in der Regel an derartigen Vorrichtungen sowieso vorhandenen Betätigungshebelanschlag 20 hintergreift. Dadurch kann sich einerseits die Vorrichtung nicht unter ungünstigen Umständen selbst schließen und der Schließvorgang kann nur nach bewußtem Lösen der Sperre 18 vollzogen werden. Die vorteilhaft vorgesehene Ausbildung dahingehend, daß der Bereich des Sperrendes 5 mit zweifacher Abkröpfung 21 derart abgestuft ausgebildet ist, daß der kurze Schenkel 15 mit seinem Gelenk 14 erfassende Ende in den Betätigungshebel 1 eingreift, die Spannbacken 7 zu den Gehäusewänden 6' fluchten und der mindestens einseitig angebrachte Sperrhebelverriegelungsfortsatz 19 an einer der Gehäuseseitenwände 6' vorbeistreichend abgekröpft ist, ist für die praktische und möglichst einfache verwirklichung derZuordnung des Sperrhebels 3 mit zusätzlicher Sperre 18 von wesentlicher Bedeutung, da dadurch einerseits die Druckfeder 4 günstig plaziert werden kann, am Sperrhebel 3 keine besonderen, etwa seitlich herausragenden Sperrzapfen oder Vorsprünge vorgesehen werden müssen und außerdem im Sperrhebel 3 seine eigene Sperre für die Entspannungsstellung mit enthalten ist, deren Verrastung am Anschlag 20 gleichzeitig von der Druckfeder 4 auch in dieser Stellung mit bewirkt werden kann, die im übrigen in Spannstellung, wie beschrieben, die Spannbacken 7 an den Spannbackenanschlagflächen 10 zur Anlage bringt.As can be seen from FIGS. 1 to 3, the toggle lever tensioning device consists of a housing 6 with a tensioning arm 11 pivotably mounted on its side cheek walls 6 'and an actuating lever 1 which is provided with a spring-loaded locking lever 3 which can be locked on the housing 6. The locking end 5 of the locking lever 3 is formed thereon in the form of a clamping jaw 7 which is supported in the locking position on the housing 6 in the manner of a wedge. As can be seen from Fig. 1, the locking lever is designed as an angle lift and articulated with its short leg 15 on the actuating lever 1 or on the joint 14. In order to be able to produce this locking lever 3 as an easy-to-produce molded part with the necessary rigidity, the locking lever consists of a single punched blank which, at least in the area shown in FIG. 1, is deformed into a U-shaped bracket 3 'in cross section. In Fig. 1, this U-shaped cross section is indicated by dashed lines. At the access end, the locking lever 3 is in a known manner with a Handle 9 covered. The free ends of the short leg 15 of the locking lever 3 are, as shown in Fig. 3, bent inwards, so that, as can be seen from Fig. 3, inserted between the two legs of the actuating lever 1 on the joint 14 and articulated there with the Actuating lever 1 can be connected. The compression spring 4 is shown in the embodiment shown in the form of a sleeve spring or a so-called pruning shear spring, which is fixed at its ends to pin-shaped holders 8 of the two levers 1, 3. If such pins are used as holders 8, the operating lever 1 is provided with beads 13 arranged in its legs, between which the holder 8 is simply driven, as shown. The holder 8 is suitably fixed on the locking lever 3. Instead of pins, however, other holders 8, for example in the form of small receiving pots, can also be provided without further ado, and it is also possible, if suitable surface areas are present on the levers, as is the case with the locking lever 3, the holders 8 in the form of small dots form on which the open ends or an open end of the compression spring 4 is seated. As mentioned, the housing 6 of the device has two side cheek walls 6 ', on which the actuating lever 1 and the tensioning arm 11 are mounted. The upper edges of these side cheek walls 6 'form the inclined clamping jaw contact surfaces 10 for the clamping jaws 7 of the locking lever, the side cheek walls 6' behind the two clamping jaw contact surfaces 10 being provided with a rounding 16 which prevents the locking end 5 from sliding over from the dot-dashed relaxation position into the clamping position facilitated. Otherwise, the actuating lever 1 is connected in a known manner to the tensioning arm 11 by an intermediate member 17, for the articulation of which the joint 15 for the articulation of the locking lever 3 is advantageously also used. In order to release the clamping arm 11 from its clamping position blocked by the clamping jaw 7 of the locking lever 3, as shown in FIG. 1, all that is required is pressure on the locking lever 3, as a result of which the clamping jaw 7 is lifted off the clamping jaw contact surface 10 of the housing 6. and the actuating lever 1 can then be swiveled clockwise into the relaxation position shown in broken lines. When swiveling back into the clamping position, the locking lever 13 lying under spring pressure on the housing 6 is simply dragged along and glides over the rounded portions 16 of the two side cheeks 6 'of the housing 6 and, when the clamping position is reached, automatically engages, as shown, on the clamping jaw contact surfaces 10, whereby there is a wedging of the actuating lever 1. As can be seen from Fig. 1, the lock 18 of the locking lever 3 is realized in a simple manner in that at the locking end 5 at least on one side a locking lever locking extension 19 is integrally formed, which can sweep past the housing wall 6 'by means of an offset 21 and in the most relaxed position, as shown, engages behind the actuating lever stop 20 which is usually present on such devices. As a result, on the one hand, the device cannot close itself under unfavorable circumstances and the closing process can only be carried out after the lock 18 has been deliberately released. The advantageously provided design in such a way that the area of the locking end 5 with a double offset 21 is designed so that the short leg 15 engages with the joint 14 in the actuating lever 1, the jaws 7 are aligned with the housing walls 6 'and the at least One-sided locking lever locking extension 19 is cranked past one of the housing side walls 6 ', is essential for the practical and as simple as possible implementation of the assignment of the locking lever 3 with additional lock 18, since on the one hand the compression spring 4 can be placed cheaply, on the locking lever 3 no particular , such as laterally protruding locking pins or projections must be provided and also included in the locking lever 3 with its own lock for the relaxation position, the locking of the stop 20 at the same time caused by the compression spring 4 in this position with ka nn, which in the rest, as described, brings the jaws 7 to the jaw stop faces 10 to the plant.

Claims (8)

1. A toggte clamp comprising a casing including a clamp arm (11) pivotally disposed thereon and an actuating lever (1) provided with a springloaded locking lever (3) lockable on the casing, with the locking lever being pivoted to the actuating lever (1) above the clamping arm joint (2), oriented in the same direction as the actuating lever (1) and loadedly disposed thereagainst through a compression spring (4), wherein the locking lever (3) is provided with a lock (18) locking its unloaded position and being lockable on the housing (6), characterized in that the locking end (5) of the locking lever (3) pivotally coupled to the actuating lever (1) of straightforward configuration is formed on the locking lever (3) in the form of a jaw (7) supported in wedge- shaped manner, in the clamping position, on the casing (6) provided with a jaw abutting face (10).
2. A clamp according to claim 1, characterized in that the compression spring (4) is in the form of a sleeve-type spring which is disposed with the ends thereof on head-, pin-or bar-type holders (8) of the two levers (1, 3).
3. A clamp according to claims 1 or 2, characterized in that the locking lever (3) including the locking means (18) thereof is formed of a single blank which at least to the mounting point of the compression spring (4)-viewed in cross-section - is of a U-profile (3') configuration.
4. A clamp according to claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the jaw (7) of the locking lever (3) in the clamping position, and the jaw abutment face (10) of the casing (6) with the longitudinal axis (12) of the actuating lever (1) enclose an angle a < 90°.
5. A clamp according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that one of the holders (8) of the sleeve-type spring formed as a pin is disposed in clamped condition in neighbouring beads (13) of the parallel legs (1') of the actuating lever (1) and the other of said holders (8) of the locking lever formed as a pin is fixed basic stem of the U-profile (3').
6. A clamp according to any one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the casing (11) behind the jaw abutment face (10) is provided with a rounded portion (16).
7. A clamp according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the locking means (18) is formed on the locking lever (3) as a locking lever arresting extension (19).
8. A clamp according to any one of claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the area of the locking end (5), with a twofold offset (21), is formed in steps such that the leg (15) of short length with the end thereof contacting the joint (14) engages the actuating lever (1), that the jaws (7) are in alignment with the casing walls (6) and that the at least one-sidedly provided locking lever arresting extension (19) is offset in a manner sweeping past one of the casing walls (6').
