Die Schaltkontakte F1, F2, F3 werden dabei durch auf der Welle des Betriebsarten-Wahlschalters 1 angeordnete Nocken betätigt und zwar derart, daß der Schaltkontakt F1 und der Schaltkontakt F3 öffnen und der Schaltkontakt F2 schließt. Damit ist die Stromversorgung der Heizelemente über den Schaltkontakt F1 unterbrochen. Über die Zeit-/Programmsteuereinrichtung ZSt wird während der vorgegebenen Zeitspanne ein Relais R11 erregt, welches den Relaisschalter Sr1 schließt, so daß über diesen Relaisschalter Sr1 der Heizstrom geführt wird. Weitere durch die Zeit-/Programmsteuereinrichtung ZSt beeinflußbare Relais R12, R13, R14 dienen über die zugeordneten Relaisschalter Sr2, Sr3, Sr4 zur Steuerung des Mikrowellengenerators mit dem Magnetron Mg. Dieser Mikrowellengenerator ist generell nur über die Zeit-/Programmsteuereinrichtung ZSt betreibbar. Das Relais R11 ist - wie insb. aus Fig. 3 hervorgeht - der thermischen Heizung zugeordnet und hält während der voreingestellten Zeitspanne den zugeordneten Relaisschalter Sr1 geschlossen. Das Relais R14 ist während der vorgegebenen Zeitspanne bei Mikrowellenbetrieb erregt und hält den zugeordneten Relaisschalter Sr4 geschlossen. Über die Relais R12 und R13 und die zugeordneten Relaisschalter Sr2 und Sr3 erfolgt die Leistungstaktung der Mikrowelleneinrichtung.
