Wenn hier vom Anzeigen der Schließkraft bzw. einer "Schließkraft-Anzeigevorrichtung" die Rede ist, so beinhaltet dies selbstverständlich, daß unter Zuhil­fenahme dieser Anzeigevorrichtung die Schließkraft auch einge­stellt werden kann, jedoch erfolgt die Einstellung der Schließ­kraft in bekannter Weise und mit den herkömmlichen Mitteln, wobei die momentan vorhandene Schließkraft über die Schließkraft-Anzei­gevorrichtung angezeigt wird und abgelesen werden kann.The object of the invention is therefore to design a door closer of the type mentioned in such a way that the use of a door closer housing as with a door closer without a closing force display device is possible, but the closing force can nevertheless be displayed. Nachdem nunmehr die Anzeige-­Einheit der Schließkraft-Anzeigevorrichtung abnehmbar am Gehäuse od. dgl. des Türschließers angebracht oder gehalten werden kann, laßt sie sich nach dem Einstellen der Schließkraft leicht abneh­men. Insofern kann man diese Anzeige-Einheit nicht nur für diesen einen Türschließer, sondern zumindest für jeden anderen Tür­schließer gleicher Bauart verwenden. Deshalb tritt also, über die Serie gesehen, auf jeden Fall eine Verringerung der Herstellungs­kosten ein. Außerdem kann man auch bestehende Türschließer leicht nachrüsten. Im übrigen ist eine Abänderung des Türschließer-Ge­häuses, wie man es vor der Verwendung einer Schließkraft-Anzeige­vorrichtung verwendet hat, nicht notwendig. Selbstverständlich muß die Anzeige-Einheit dem Türschließer-Gehäuse in genau vorge­gebener Weise zugeordnet werden, weil sie mit einem, insbesondere im Innern des Türschließers befindlichen Geber zusammenwirkt und deshalb eine genau festgelegte räumliche Zuordnung der Anzeige-­Einheit zum Geber unerläßlich ist. Vor allen Dingen ist eine Zu­ordnung des Gebers zu einem verstellbaren Anzeigeglied des Anzei­gegeräts derart erforderlich, daß das Anzeigeglied beispielsweise die Schließkraft Null anzeigt, wenn keine Schließkraft vorhanden ist. Dieses Anschlagelement oder auch mehrere solche Anschlagelemente können zusätzlich zu den er­wähnten Einsteckzapfen od. dgl. vorhanden sein. Es ist dabei je­doch weniger daran gedacht, an ein und demselben Türschließertyp wahlweise die Anschlagelemente oder die Einsteckzapfen auszunut­zen oder gar beides zum Ausrichten gegenüber dem Türschließerge­ häuse heranzuziehen, vielmehr eröffnet sich hierdurch die Mög­lichkeit, das Anzeigegerät mit zwei verschiedenen Türschließerge­häusen bzw. Türschließertypen zu verwenden, wobei bei der einen Ausführungsform beispielseweise die Einsteckzapfen und bei der anderen das oder die Anschlagelemente für das genaue Ausrichten benutzt werden. Gegebenenfalls kann man beide über ein loses Zwischenglied ver­binden, falls der Verstellmechanismus lediglich einen Innensechs­kant 17 oder eine Aufnahme mit anderem Mehrkantquerschnitt auf­weist und auch am Anzeigegerät 6 nur eine Mehrkantaufnahme vorge­sehen ist. Claims (18)

1. A door closer with an adjustable closure force and a closing force indicating device (6) which consists of a transmitter (20) adapted to be moved by the variation in closure force and an indicating unit which cooperates with the said transmitter (20), characterised in that the indicating unit is constructed as a detachable indicating instrument (6) which can be associated with the housing (3, 4) or the like of the door closer (1, 2) in a predetermined position.
2. A door closer with a closure force indicating device according to Claim 1, characterised in that the indicating instrument (6) and the housing (3, 4) of the door closer (1, 2) can be coupled by a plug-in connection.
3. A door closer with a closure force indicating device according to Claim 2, characterised in that the indicating instrument (6) comprises at least one but preferably two push-in studs (22, 23) or the like while the door closer housing (3, 4) or the like comprises a number of push-in housings corresponding to the number of studs.
4. A door closer with a closure force indicating device according to at least one of the preceding Claims, characterised in that the indicating instrument (6) comprises at least one stop element (25, 26, 27) which cooperates with an abutment surface (19) on the door closer housing (3, 4) or the like in such a way as to establish its position.
5. A door closer with a closure force indicating device according to Claim 4, characterised in that the indicating instrument (6) comprises a basic panel or frame-like body (21) and, associated with the marginal zone, two abutment elements (25, 26, 27) which project transversely to the plane of the basic body.
6. A door closer with a closure force indicating device according to Claim 5, characterised by three abutment elements (25, 26, 27) of which two extend substantially parallel with each other while the third (27) extends substantially at right-angles thereto.
7. A door closer with a closure force indicating device according to Claim 6, characterised in that the distance between the two substantially parallel abutment elements (25, 26) corresponds approximately to the width of the door closer housing (3, 4) in the region in which the measurement is taken.
8. A door closer with a closure force indicating device according to at least one of Claims 5 to 7, characterised in that the two substantially parallel abutment elements (25, 26) are at least partially of angular cross-section, the side (33, 34) of the angle which is parallel with the basic body being inclined towards its free end.
9. A door closer with a closure force indicating device according to at least one of the preceding Claims, characterised in that the push-in stud or studs (22, 23) or the like point in the opposite direction to the abutment elements (25, 26, 27).
10. A door closer with a closure force indicating device according to at least one of the preceding Claims, characterised in that the indicating instrument (6) comprises a linear indicating member (36) which cooperates with a scale (37).
11. A door closer with a closure force indicating device according to Claim 10, characterised in that the indicating member (36) is a small transparent tube (39) with a magnetised indicating element (40) while the transmitter of the door closer is a magnet.
12. A door closer with a closure force indicating device according to Claim 11, characterised in that the indicating element is a magnetised ball (40), magnetised particles in a fluid or a like ferro-magnetic element.
13. A door closer with a closure force indicating device according to Claim 10, characterised in that the transmitter (20) is constructed as an electrical signal transmitter, particularly as a potentiometer, the indicating member (36) being constructed as an electrical indicating means.
14. A door closer with a closure force indicating device according to at least one of Claims 10 to 13, characterised in that the indicating member (36) is fixed in an aperture (41) in the basic body (21), an indicating scale (37, 42) being disposed on each of the two sides (24, 35) of the basic body (21), at the aperture (41).
15. A door closer with a closure force indicating device according to at least one of Claims 5 to 10, characterised in that at least one of the abutment elements (25, 26, 27) is constructed at the same time as a holder for a tool (44, 45) for adjusting the closure force, and is in particular constructed as a clamping support.
16. A door closer with a closure force indicating device according to at least one of the preceding Claims, characterised in that the indicating instrument (6) serves at the same time as a tool for adjusting the closure force mechanism (12) of the door closer (1, 2) and in particular comprises at least one polygonal housing (43) to receive a polygonal mandrel of the adjusting mechanism (12) or comprises at least one polygonal mandrel which is adapted to fit a polygonal housing in the adjusting mechanism (12).
17. A door closer with a closure force indicating device according to at least one of the preceding Claims, with a closure spring (9) of which the end associated with the closure force adjusting mechanism (12) is biased on a spring plate (11) or the like of the adjusting mechanism (12) which is adjustable in the longitudinal direction of the closure spring, characterised in that the spring plate (11) or the like is provided with a magnet (20), particularly a permanent magnet, or an electrical signal transmitter.
18. A door closer with a closure force indicating device according to at least one of the preceding Claims, characterised in that the indicating instrument (6) is provided with an instrument for measuring the closure force of the lock latch.
