Abstract

A device for cutting, for example, mushrooms, and, especially, champignons, including two pincer arms articulated together at rear ends thereof, with the cutting device being adapted to be held in one hand of the user, and with the arm being compressible against a return spring. One pincer arm includes a cutting grid at a forward end thereof, with the cutting grid being aligned with the receiving depression for receiving the mushroom and disposed on the other pincer arm. The receiving depression includes a round trough shape which is constructed to receive a mushroom such as a champignon on a cap side thereof. The cutting grid includes sharpened stainless steel blades and both of the pincer arms include handle projections extending forwardly beyond the cutting grid and receiving depression, by which the pincer arms are grippable and compressible by the other hand of the user of the cutting device.

Description

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Gerät zum Schneiden von Pilzen in Scheiben, insbesondere von frischen Champignons.The invention relates to a device for cutting mushrooms into slices, in particular fresh mushrooms.

Pilze werden von der Hausfrau bisher fast aus­schließlich mit dem Küchenmesser in Scheiben geschnitten, wobei aber die geometrisch komplizierte Form, die inhomogene Zähigkeitsverteilung und die Brüchigkeit des Pilzes eine gute Geschicklichkeit verlangen, wenn glatte Pilzscheiben erreicht werden sollen. Es sind zwar zahlreiche Schneidgeräte bekannt, die aus zwei an ihrem hinteren Ende gelenkig ver­bundenen, einhändig zu greifenden und gegen eine Rückstellfeder zusammendrückbaren Zangenarmen be­stehen, wobei ein Zangenarm am vorderen Ende ein Schneidgitter trägt, welches auf eine Aufnahmemulde am anderen Zangenarm ausgerichtet ist. Diese bekannten Geräte sind zum Schneiden von gekochten Eiern, Pellkartoffeln, rote Beeten und ähnlichen Lebens­mitteln geeignet, jedoch fallen bei Versuchen, frische Champignons mit diesen bekannten Geräten zu schneiden, nur sehr unregelmäßig gestaltete Scheiben an, deren Ränder vielfach ausgerissen oder ausgefranst sind, wobei oft die Scheiben auch infolge zu starker Quetschung des Pilzes beim Schneiden in viele Bruch­stücke auseinanderfallen. Bessere Ergebnisse erhält man, wenn man ein Schneidgerät mit ebener Schneid­gutauflage verwendet und axial halbierte Pilze mit ihrer glatten Schnittfläche auf die Schneidgutauflage legt und dann die Pilzhälften mit dem Schneidgitter in eine Gruppe von Scheiben zertrennt. Die erfindungsgemäß vorgesehene Möglichkeit, mit beiden Händen den Schneiddruck aufbringen zu können, erlaubt einerseits ein sehr feinfühliges Arbeiten und andrerseits auch das Zerteilen verhältnismäßig zäher Pilze. Bei dem Gerät nach der Erfindung wird der Pilz, auf dem Kopf stehend, geschnitten, so daß also das Schneidgitter zunächst in den Pilzstiel einschneidet, der eine verhältnismäßig hohe Zähigkeit besitzt. Um zu starke Quetschungen oder einen Bruch des Pilzes zu vermeiden, muß der Pilzkopf hierbei in seinem zen­tralen Bereich voll auf dem Muldenboden aufliegen, weshalb nach einer bevorzugten Ausführungsform der Erfindung die Aufnahmemulde einen nur leicht ge­wölbten, über mehr als 2/3 des Durchmessers der Muldenöffnung sich erstreckenden Boden und daran anschließend erst steile Ränder aufweist. Die Größe und Ausbauchung der trogförmigen Aufnahmemulde wird hierbei entsprechend den größten handelsüblichen Champignons gewählt, so daß für die größten und auch für alle kleineren Pilze eine einwandfreie Auflage ihres zentralen Kopfbereiches gegeben ist.The possibility provided according to the invention of being able to apply the cutting pressure with both hands allows, on the one hand, very sensitive work and, on the other hand, also the cutting of relatively tough mushrooms. Bei dem Schneidgerät nach der Erfindung ist in weiterer Ausgestaltung vorgesehen, daß der Schneid­gitterrahmen einen runden, bei geschlossenem Gerät die Aufnahmemulde umschließenden Rahmenteil aufweist, an dessen hinteren Bogenbereich die Messer jeweils mit einem Ende befestigt sind, daß die Messer mit ihrem vorderen Ende an der Unterseite des etwa schneid­gitterbreiten Griffvorsprunges befestigt sind, wobei vorteilhafterweise an die Unterseite des Griff­vorsprungs ein zum hinteren Bogenbereich etwa paralleler bogenförmiger Wulst angeformt ist, in dem die vorderen Messerenden sitzen und der auf einen Gegenanschlag an der Oberseite des Griffvorsprunges des anderen Zangenarmes ausgerichtet ist. Gerät zum Schneiden von Pilzen in Scheiben, insbesondere von frischen Champignons, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es aus zwei an ihrem hinteren Ende gelenkig verbundenen, einhändig zu greifenden und gegen eine Rückstellfeder (1) zusammendrück­baren Zangenarmen (2, 3) besteht, wobei ein Zangenarm (2) am vorderen Ende ein Schneidgitter (4) trägt, welches auf eine Aufnahmemulde (5) am anderen Zangenarm (3) ausgerichtet ist, daß die Aufnahmemulde (5) eine runde, für die Aufnahme eines auf dem Kopf stehenden Champignons geeignete Trogform (6) aufweist, daß das Schneidgitter (4) aus geschärften Edelstahlmessern (9) besteht und daß beide Zangenarme (2, 3) vorne über das Schneidgitter (4) bzw. die Aufnahmemulde (5) hinausragende Griffvorsprünge (11, 12) aufweisen, an denen die Zangenarme (2, 3) zusätzlich mit der zweiten Hand faßbar und zusammendrückbar sind.1.
