Diese Aufgabe wird durch die Anwendung des Kennzeichens des patentanspruchs 1 gelöst. Weiterbildungen ergeben sich aus den Unteransprüchen und aus der Beschreibung in Verbindung mit den Zeichnungen. Ein wesentlicher Vorteil der erfindungsgemäßen Vorrichtung besteht darin, daß das einteilige Füllstück in der Grube zum Auflegen bzw. Aufspannen eines .Gummituches oder einer Druckplatte absenkbar ist und daß nach dem Einführen und ggf. Befestigen der Enden durch eine einfache Hebbewegung mit anschließender Axialverschiebung die Zylindergrube vollständig verschließbar ist, so daß die gefürchteten Kanaistöße, die bekanntlich Zylinderschwingungen auslösen, praktisch vermieden werden können. Dabei ist es weiterhin vorteilhaft, daß während des Aufspannvorganges das eingezogene Füllstück nicht hinderlich ist. Im folgenden wird die Erfindung anhand von Ausführungsbeispielen im einzelnen beschrieben, wobei Bezug auf die beiliegenden Zeichnungen genommen wird. In diesen zeigen :

  • Figur 1 das erfindungsgemäße Füllstück in der Grube eines Gummizylindersfür eine Offset-rotationsdruckmaschine,

Durch die aus den Figuren 1 und 2 ersichtliche Führung des Füllstückes 8 am Zylinderboden in Verbindung mit der übrigen Ausgestaltung des Füllstückes 8 ist sichergestellt, daß das füllstück 8 auch nicht verkanten kann. Bei einem geringfügigen Verdrehen der Spannspindel 18 erfolgt die Einbringung der Verstärkungsleiste 5 durch den Umfangsbereich der Spannspindel 18, der sich an die Abplattung 19 anschließt. Beim Drehen der Spannspindel 18 wird die Spannspindel 5 in die Ausnehmung 17 hineingedrückt, wie aus Fig. 6 hervorgeht. Zuvor konnte bei der in Fig. 6 gezeigten Stellung der Spannspindel 18 in einfacher Weise das mit der Verstärkungsleiste 4 versehene Ende des Gummituches aus der Spannspindel 18 herausgezogen werden. Eine besonders vorteilhafte Ausgestaltung eines Gummituches zru Anwendung in den Ausführungsformen gemäß Fig. 1 bis 8 ist in Fig. 11 gezeigt. Das Gummituch 30 besteht aus einer Gummidecke 31 und aus einem Gewebe, das an den beiden Enden mit 32 und 33 bezeichnet ist. In vorteilhafter Weise kann nun die Gummituchdecke 31 and beiden Enden abgetragen werden, so daß lediglich das Textilgewebe 32, 33 verbleibt. Zur Verstärkung können auf dem Textilgewerbe 32 bzw. 33 Verstärkungsleisten 34, 35 befestigt werden. In vorteilhafter Weise ist nun die Länge der Gummituchdecke 31 so bemessen, daß unter Einbeziehung der spezifischen Dehnung des Gummituches 30 im aufgespannten Zustand des Gummituches 30 auf einem Zylinder die Stoßkanten 36, 37 über der verbleibenden Kanalöffnung gegeneinander stoßen, worduch quasi ein « nahtloser bzw. glatter und stoßfreier Übergang gebildet wird und der Eindruck einer durchgehenden Gummituchdecke über den gesamten Umfang des Zylinders entsteht. Ein weiterer Vorteil eines derartig dimensionierten Gummituches bzw. einer Gummituchdecke liegt darin, daß lediglich die verjüngten Enden des Gummituches 30, d. h. das Textilgewebe 32, 33 in die Grube eingeführt wird, wodurch der Restspalt bei ausgefahrenem Füllstück 8 so klein bemessen werden kann, daß beim Überrollen keinerlei Stöße mehr entstehen, die ursächlich für Zylinderschwingungen sind. Bekanntlich führen derartige Stöße bzw. Zylinderschwingungen zu unerwünschten Streifen auf den Druckprodukten. Bei einem Zylinderumfang von etwa 600 mm liegt diese kritische kanalbreite bei etwa 2 mm. Nachdem bekannte bzw. in der Offsettechnik verwendete Gummitücher eine Dicke von 1,9 mm aufweisen, wovon die Hälfte etwa auf das Textilgewebe und die Hälfte auf die Gummituchdecke entfällt, ist es möglich, unterhalb der kritischen Kanalbreite von etwa 2 mm durch entsprechende Auslegung des Füllstückes 8 zu kommen. Ein weiterer Vorteil ergibt sich dadurch, daß die Gummituchdecke leicht schräg an den Stoßkanten 36 bzw. 37 abgetragen wird, so daß die Stoßnaht geringfügig schräg über der Zylindergrube 2 zu liegen kommt bzw. verläuft.A particularly advantageous embodiment of a rubber blanket for use in the embodiments according to FIGS. 1 to 8 is shown in FIG. 11. In Fig. 12 sind auch der Schnekentrieb 12, 13 zum Drehen des Führungsrohres 11 sowie der nicht näher bezeichnete Schneckentrieb zum Drehen der Spannspindel 8 gezeigt.

Claims (8)

1. Cylinder for a rotary printing machine with at least one groove, in which are provided securing eans for receiving the ends of a rubber blanket or a printing plate, and a filling piece extending in the axial direction for covering the groove after insertion of the ends of a rubber blanket or a printing plate, characterised in that the filling piece (8), which can be dropped into the groove (2), has comb-like fingers (14) which are radially movable in a first axial position of the filling piece (8) between corresponding fingers arranged in the groove (2), in that by means of an axial adjustment device (28, 29, 38) the filling piece (8) can be moved into a second axial position, in which case the fingers (14) of the filling piece (8) come to lie above the fingers (15) and are supported on these, in that there is provided on the filling piece a lifting bar (10) which engages in a rotatable guide tube (11) extending in the axial direction, by means of which, when the guide tube is rotated, the filling piece (8) can be lowered into the first axial position before insertion of the ends (4, 5) of a rubber blanket or plate into the groove (2), and after the insertion can be raised approximately radially, after which the filling piece (8) can be shifted by the axial adjustment device (28, 29, 38) so that in this second axial position the filling piece (9) covers the groove.
2. Cylinder according to claim 1, characterised in that both ends (4, 5) of the rubber blanket (2) can be tightened by means of a single tensioning spindle (7). (Fig. 1 and 2).
3. Cylinder according to claim 1, characterised in that one end (4) of a rubber blanket (3) is arranged in a tensioning spindle (18) and the other end (5) in a recess (17) provided in the groove (2) and extending in the axial direction, from which recess the end (5) can be lifted out by a drawing device (20) arranged on the spindle (18) (Fig. 5-8).
4. Cylinder according to claim 3, characterised in that the drawing device (20) is a magnet system.
5. Cylinder according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the guide tube (11) can be rotated by a front worm drive (11, 12), and in that the filling piece (8) can be axially displaced by a front eccentric drive (28, 29, 38). (Fig. 1 and 2).
6. Cylinder according to claim 4, characterised in that the tensioning spindle (18) has a flattening (19) which in a specific position allows the introduction of the one end (5) of the rubber blanket (3) into the recess (17). (Fig. 5-8).
7. Cylinder according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the rubber blanket (2) is reduced in thickness at its ends so that after its tensioning onto the blanket cylinder (1) in the stretched state the offset points (36, 37) above the groove (2) meet, and merely the tapered sections (32, 33) are drawn into the groove (2). (Fig. 11).
8. Cylinder according to claim 7, characterised in that the tapered sections (32, 33) are slightly slanting so that the abutment point formed slopes slightly over the groove (2).
