Abstract

1. A garden bench with two legs (1) supporting the seat portion (4) and back rest (7), both being made up of sets of slats (3, 6), each of which is fastened to slat carriers (2, 5) which in turn are each attached to said bench legs (1), characterized in that different slat carriers (2, 5) can be connected with said back rest (7) and seat portion (4), said slat carriers (2, 5) having recesses (8) for said slats (3, 6), and further in that the size of the fasteners joining said slat carriers (2, 5) with said legs (1) in the same in any case, irrespective of variation in the slat type, so that the same legs can be used to build a series of garden benches with different sets of salts.
