In der CH-PS 530'912 ist ein solcher Kunststoffbehälter beschrieben, dessen anscharnierter Deckel durch einen oder mehrere verschiebbare Verschlussriegel in der Schliesslage gesichert ist. Der bekannte Verschlussriegel ist jedoch in verschiedener Hinsicht nachteilig. Da er nicht einschnappbar ausgebildet ist, muss beim Schliessen des Behälters, d.h. beim Niederdrücken des Deckels, der Riegel manuell in die Oeffnungsposition verschoben werden und nach dem Eindringen des Steckteils in den Behälterschlitz wiederum manuell in die Schliessposition verschoben werden. Wird nun der Deckel geschlossen, so dringt der Steckteil 10 des Verschlussriegels 9 mit Spiel in den Schlitz 8 im Behälterflansch 6 ein (Fig. 6). Unterhalb des Vorsprungs 16 weist der Steckteil 10 eine schräge Auflauffläche 19 auf, die beim Eindringen des Steckteils vom einen Ende 20 des Behälterschlitzes 8 entgegen der Federkraft des Hakens 15 weggedrückt wird, bis der Vorsprung 16 einschnappt und den Behälterflansch im Bereich des Schlitzendes 20 untergreift (Fig. 7).
