Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a tilt joint for a cassette awning according to the preamble of claim 1.
In the case of cassette awnings of this type, the fabric shaft and the awning fabric in the retracted state are accommodated in a cassette which is closed on all sides, the vertical closure of the free end face of the cassette being formed by a dropout panel which is connected to the free end of the articulated arms and which when the articulated arms are retracted Cassette locks. In order to ensure this locking properly and still enable the articulated arms of the awning to be inclined against the horizontal direction in the extended state, the storage of the articulated arms in the last phase of the swiveling in must be able to carry out a swiveling movement from the inclined into the horizontal position. On the other hand, it must be ensured that this pivoting movement is reliably prevented in the extended state, so that the extended René awning can not perform vibrations about this pivot axis under the influence of external forces, especially wind. For this purpose, so-called wind brakes in various embodiments are known in known cassette awnings. These wind brakes essentially comprise a locking device which locks in the extended state and thus fixes the articulated arms in their inclined position. Another requirement for the tilting joints of articulated arm awnings is that the angle of inclination should be adjustable when extended.
Proceeding from this, the invention has for its object to provide a simple and thus maintenance-friendly and inexpensive to manufacture embodiment of a tilting joint, which nevertheless has a stability that meets the high forces involved and in particular allows a secure fixing in the extended state, while at the same time allowing a comfortable inclination adjustment should be possible from the front in any position.
This object is achieved by the measures according to the characterizing part of claim 1. The design of the locking device between the adjusting screw for the inclination adjustment and the pivoting locking rocker bearing an articulated arm makes it possible to operate the adjusting screw in any position from the front and to make an inclination adjustment, in particular even when the awning is only slightly extended. The locking pin provided according to the invention and which can be actuated by a stop shoulder of an articulated arm enables the latching device which fixes the inclination in the extended state to be triggered during a precisely definable movement phase of the on swivel motion. In this way, it can be achieved that the latching device is released exactly when this is necessary for inserting the dropout cover into the cassette, but that in the opposite direction of movement there is an immediate snap-in when the dropout cover moves away from the cassette.
The adjusting screw provided according to claim 3 enables a precise determination of the pivoting angle of the articulated arms at which the stop shoulder actuates the locking pin, i.e. the tilt joint according to the invention can easily be adapted to certain geometric conditions, in particular predetermined cassette sizes.
Die Ansprüche 4 und 5 geben Möglichkeiten zur Erzielung einer koordinierten Bewegung zwischen Sperrbolzen und Markisenarm an.Claims 4 and 5 indicate possibilities for achieving a coordinated movement between the locking pin and the awning arm.
It has proven to be advantageous to implement the spring action of the locking bolt in the locking direction according to

In its head-
The free end 5o of the locking bolt 4o lies in an angular range α shortly after the start of the extension or before the end of the retraction of a
- In the retracted state of the awning, the
axis 52 of the articulatedarm 15 is parallel to theaxis 49 of the locking bolt. The locking pin assumes such a position that therecess 48 lies over thelongitudinal axis 41 of theset screw 28. Thecoil spring 43 is compressed. At the beginning of the extension from the state shown in FIG. 1, a pivoting movement to the left downward in FIG. 1 can now begin about the axis S 1 , ie thedropout cover 11 moves away from the cassette 3. As the angle α increases, ie as the articulatedarms 15 progressively extend, the locking pin 4o is pressed upwards under the influence of thehelical spring 43 against the migratingstop shoulder 51 of the articulatedarm 15 in FIG. 2. As a result, therecess 48 of the locking bolt reaches after reaching a certain angle 4o outside the area of thelongitudinal axis 41 of theset screw 28 and the circumferential surface of the locking bolt 4o which is not reduced in diameter now engages in therecess 37, which is formed by an annular groove, of theset screw 28. However, this means that after reaching this advanced extension state, a locking action occurs, ie the base body of the locking bolt 4o acts in conjunction with therecess 37 as a locking device. As the articulatedarm 15 progressively extends, thestop shoulder 51 disengages from theend 50 of the locking bolt, but the locking bolt remains in its locking position due to the action of the coil spring 43 (top in FIG. 2).
In particular, it is clear from Fig. 2 that regardless of the operation of the tilt joint via the
From the above description it follows that the construction according to the invention ensures that occurring forces, e.g. can be safely intercepted by gusts of wind in the extended state, while in the initial or final phase of the extending or retracting movement the front cover can easily connect to the cassette.
