Description

The invention relates to a drive for at least one locking member, in particular for locking a door, a window or the like, with at least one gear which can be driven by a pinion, the pinion being rotatable by means of the locking bar of a locking cylinder and essentially having the shape of a has radially slotted ring. Such a drive has become known, for example, from DE-A-2 831 896. The maximum thickness of the ring, seen in the radial direction,. is determined by the gap between the annular bearing piece of the locking bar and the web-shaped housing part of the locking cylinder in the area of the fastening thread for the fastening screw. When using a commercially available profile cylinder, the thickness of the flat locking cylinder part also limits the number of teeth, at least upwards. This is due to the fact that the pinion located in a lock case, for example, is usually installed before the lock cylinder is inserted into the lock in question and the lock cylinder must be able to be removed later for repair purposes via the radial slot of the pinion.

It is now considered a disadvantage that when a commercially available cylinder is advantageously used, both the pinion size and the number of pinion teeth are subject to the restriction mentioned, because there is occasionally a need for a larger pinion and / or for a pinion with a larger number of teeth. A larger sprocket is used, for example, when the gearwheel working with it cannot be moved closer to the sprocket due to other circumstances, so that the use of idler gears becomes necessary. For example, a larger number of pinion teeth may be desirable in order to obtain a different transmission ratio and / or torque.

The object of the invention is therefore to design a drive of the type mentioned in such a way that, despite the use of conventional locking cylinders, pinions with a larger diameter and thus possibly a larger number of teeth can be used.

To solve this problem, the invention proposes that the drive is designed according to the preamble of claim 1 in accordance with the characterizing part of this claim. The eccentric arrangement of the pinion axis of rotation with respect to the axis of rotation of the locking bar permits the use of relatively large pinions, the diameter of which can only be limited by other facts. At the bottom, the tooth spacing, seen in the circumferential direction, is limited, as in the known prior art, by the slot width or the thickness of the flat locking cylinder part of the commercially available locking cylinder, while there is a limitation, for example by the design of the associated gearwheel. Since the ring width is practically the same as that of the previously known pinions, the larger the pinion selected, the larger the inner diameter of the ring-shaped pinion. This then gives a second advantage, which is that the lock cylinder can be installed and removed without any problems by the pinion. The previously customary adaptation of the pinion inner diameter to the diameter of the cylindrical locking cylinder part or a possibly interposed annular bridging member is advantageously dispensed with. After the teeth on this pinion protrude in the axial direction, it has a circular cylindrical contour on the outside, with which it is easily stored in a corresponding cylindrical bore or receptacle, for example a lock case or the like. If you disregard the ring width, the ring thickness and the minimum distance between the teeth, you have far more design options with the pinion of this drive than has been the case so far without having to accept disadvantages with regard to the further drive of the locking links. The use of a conventional lock cylinder is still possible, and its installation is made even easier by dispensing with a fit between the pinion and the lock cylinder housing. Furthermore, due to the design of the pinion in the manner of a ring gear, particularly strong teeth can be provided. In particular in the radial direction, they can be made longer than in the case of a spur gear. In this way, the pinion is able to transmit higher forces than a pinion with comparatively smaller teeth.

A further development of the invention provides that the gear is designed as a spur gear and its thickness corresponds approximately to the tooth height of the pinion teeth. In a further embodiment of the invention it is proposed that, viewed in the direction of rotation, the thickness of the pinion teeth is approximately smaller in the pitch circle area than the tooth spacing, in particular the tooth spacing is two to four times and corresponds at least to the thickness of the flat locking cylinder part, and that the gear wheel is one has the number of shortened teeth corresponding to the transmission ratio and the number of pinion teeth for the passage of the locking bar. The shortening of the tooth or teeth depends on the dimensions of this gear in question and the size and assignment of the lock bit to the pinion.

  • Fig. 2 eine Seitenansicht der Fig. 1.
In the drawing, an embodiment of the invention is shown. It shows
  • Fig. 1 is a plan view of the drive, wherein the lock cylinder is cut at the height of the lock bit,
  • FIG. 2 is a side view of FIG. 1.

A lock cylinder 1 designed in a conventional manner with a flat housing part 2 and a cylindrical housing part 3 has a rotatable lock bit 4. If the lock cylinder 1 is designed as a double lock cylinder, as in the exemplary embodiment, then a not shown shovel can either be drawn from the left end face 5 or insert the right front 6. With the help of this key, the rotary member 7 having the locking bit 4 can be rotated by at least a full 360 °. The locking cylinder is fastened in a corresponding receptacle of a lock case or another fitting of a door, a window or the like. With the aid of a screw which is screwed into the thread 8.

The rotary movement of the locking bar is transmitted in a suitable manner into a displacement movement of at least one bolt or of a pushing element carrying at least one bolt. The drive according to the invention has a pinion 9 and a gearwheel 10. The pinion is driven by the locking bit 4 and it in turn drives the gearwheel 10. The rotational movement of the gearwheel 10 can be converted into a back and forth movement, for example, via a toothed rack, wherein, if necessary, further gearwheels can also be interposed. The further flow of force is not important in connection with the design of the drive according to the invention, rather it can be of a known type.

The pinion 9 has the shape of a radially slotted ring. The width of the slot 11 corresponds approximately to the width of the flat housing part 2 of the lock cylinder 1, so that the lock cylinder can be easily pulled out of the pinion perpendicular to the image plane when aligned with this slot. This is necessary insofar as the entire drive, with the exception of the lock cylinder, is mounted in a lock case, a door or the like, for example, and the lock cylinder is only used when the door is finally hinged.

The maximum thickness of the ring-shaped pinion 9, measured in the radial direction, is determined from the distance of the cylindrical part of the rotary member 7 from the inner surface 12 of the web-shaped central part 13 of the flat housing part 2. When viewed in the direction of the axis of rotation 14 of the rotary member 7, the width corresponds of the pinion 9 approximately the width of the shooting bar 4, and both widths are determined by the width of the housing slot 15 of the SchHeßzytinder 1. The inner diameter 16 of the pinion 9 is much larger than the outer diameter of the cylindrical housing part 3 of the lock cylinder 1, whereby the pinion 9 one Eccentric arrangement with respect to the axis of rotation 14 of the locking bar 4 receives. The pinion is stored, for example, in an annular receptacle 17 in the lock case or the like.

The pinion 9 is designed in the manner of a ring gear and it has axially projecting teeth 18 which are located on one of the two end faces of the ring 19. The gear 10 is, as Fig. 2 shows, much thinner than the pinion 9, and its thickness preferably corresponds to the tooth height of the heat teeth 18. In addition, the gear is formed as a spur gear, the tooth shape of the gear and pinion in Fig. 1 clearly you can see.

The gearwheel 10 and its teeth 20, however, have a special feature in that at least one, but preferably two, namely the teeth 21 and 22, are designed as shortened teeth. The reason for this is that in the area of the slot 11 of the pinion 9, between the two teeth on both sides and beyond the slot, there is the locking bit 4, which acts as a drive member and extends perpendicularly to the image plane approximately as far as the teeth 18 of the pinion 9. As a result, the tooth gap between the adjacent pinion teeth cannot be used at this point. H. a normal long tooth of the gear cannot step between the two pinion teeth. The shortening of the teeth 21 and 22 is not problematic, however, because only relatively small forces are to be transmitted with this drive. If necessary, however, it would be readily possible to reduce the width of the locking bit to the width of the ring 19, so that one could do without shortened teeth on the gear 10. However, this training is only provided in the second place, because it should be possible to use commercially available locking cylinders in a preferred manner.
