Definitions
- Tiles are usually laid with individual batches of mortar behind each tile so that the craftsman can correct the alignment of each individual tile.
- This type of installation requires a reasonably flat wall, i.e. Pipeline shafts, installation slots etc. must be closed before tiling work can begin.
- plastered pipelines are common, and it is extremely difficult and often impossible to make these plumbing disappear under the installed tiles. If the surface to be tiled by sockets, pipes or the like. is interrupted, individual tiles have to be cut to size, which is practically only possible for the skilled tradesman, since individual tiles break easily.
- the invention has for its object to provide a method for attaching tiles to walls and floors, in which uneven wall locations, such as pipe shafts, installation slots and pipes, can be covered by the tiled surface without great effort, without an increased skill is required.
- the tiles laid according to the invention show very high thermal and acoustic insulation and are extremely leak-proof against the ingress of water. Another advantage is that much of the work is done in the factory or workshops, namely the manufacture of the self-supporting panels, so that the methods of mass production can be used. Subsequent laying of electrical cables under the panels is also possible.
- Building boards with an outer layer made of mosaic stones or plates, with a pressure-distributing intermediate layer and with an insulating layer made of foamed styrene polymers are known per se (DE-GM 1 869 140). These building boards are mainly used for floors, but they can also be used to clad walls on the inside and outside of buildings and as ceiling cladding. The laying of tiles has not been considered and how the actual technical ent shows that this font did not influence the laying technique of tiles.
- stiffened plates 1 that can be coupled to one another serve as a shape (FIG. 1).
- the shape 1 has ribs 2 arranged in a grid-like manner and trapezoidal in cross section, which serve as spacers between the inserted tiles 3.
- the shape On the underside, the shape has stiffening and support webs 4, so that an air gap remains between the shape and a flat base 6 (work table). Bores in the support webs 4 and openings 8 in the fields 7 between the ribs 2 of the form 1 ensure a certain ventilation.
- edges 2c of formol stop webs are plugged or screwed, whose height is greater 2a as the thickness of the inlaid ceramic tile 3.
- edges EinHon g eösen 9 and on the opposite edges 2b engaging noses 10 are provided to individual To be able to couple forms 1 into a larger unit.
- the hook-in lugs 10 consist of residual islands of the stiffening webs 4.
- the form 1 described is suitable for holding the tiles 3 when the hard foam plate 5 is glued on.
- To attach the hard foam plate to the back of the tiles it is also possible to cast the hard foam plate onto the back of the tiles.
- a multi-part mold is used, into which the reaction mass of the rigid foam plate is poured and which is taken apart after the mass has hardened.
- the rigid foam panel must have a high load-bearing capacity, and fine-pored polystyrene is suitable for this.
- This material is inherently rigid with little flexibility and pressure-resistant. Nevertheless, the weight is relatively low and is approximately 930 g / m 2 with a plate thickness of 2 cm.
- the total weight of a TafeL manufactured of about 0.75 m 2 is only 8 kg.
- a type of attachment of the panel 15 is shown when a relatively flat masonry 12 is available.
- the panel 15 can be glued, as indicated by adhesive 11. If the masonry 12 is not sufficiently flat for the adhesive process, it is fastened by means of anchoring pins 13, one end of which is in the masonry and the other, barbed end of which is seated in the foam plate 5 .
- the anchoring pins 13 can be shot or doweled into the masonry 12 in a known manner.
- FIG. 5 shows how a wall can be tiled despite the presence of interfering lines 16.
- plaster blocks 17 are attached to the wall 12 brings, the height of which exceeds the diameter of the line 16.
- the board 15 can be aligned in its distance from the wall 12. A slowly hardening and very sticky plaster is therefore preferred.
- the anchoring pins 13 already described can also be used for additional fastening.
- Fig. 6 shows the manufacture of an opening for a conduit, a socket or the like.
- a weakening of the affected tile 3 is brought about with a suitable tool 18, and a cutout 5a is made in the rigid foam plate 5. Since the plate is no longer supported behind this recess 5a, it can be easily broken out. The remaining hard foam plate 5 prevents unwanted cracks in the tile 3. This also applies if instead of a special tool only a simple drill is available with which a row of holes can be made along the intended opening.
- the area to be tiled will not match the panel size, so panels must be cut and put together. As far as this can be done along the joints between the tiles, there are no difficulties; but it is also easily possible to cut the board across the tiles 3. For this purpose, a break line is scratched and the rigid foam sheet is cut along the intended line Fault line. So prepared, the board can easily be broken.
- the joints between the tiles are filled with putty, unless this has already been done in the factory.
- the boards are also suitable for tiling according to the type of prefabricated construction, i.e. with the inclusion of lines, pipes, sockets and the like. In this case, it is expedient to back-mold the tiles inserted in a mold with the rigid foam reaction mass, taking into account the components mentioned.

Abstract
Description
Tiles are usually laid with individual batches of mortar behind each tile so that the craftsman can correct the alignment of each individual tile. This type of installation requires a reasonably flat wall, i.e. Pipeline shafts, installation slots etc. must be closed before tiling work can begin. In older buildings, plastered pipelines are common, and it is extremely difficult and often impossible to make these plumbing disappear under the installed tiles. If the surface to be tiled by sockets, pipes or the like. is interrupted, individual tiles have to be cut to size, which is practically only possible for the skilled tradesman, since individual tiles break easily.
The invention has for its object to provide a method for attaching tiles to walls and floors, in which uneven wall locations, such as pipe shafts, installation slots and pipes, can be covered by the tiled surface without great effort, without an increased skill is required.
The task is achieved through the measures of the solved 1 and designed and further developed by the further measures of the dependent claims.
It is particularly advantageous that the tiles laid according to the invention show very high thermal and acoustic insulation and are extremely leak-proof against the ingress of water. Another advantage is that much of the work is done in the factory or workshops, namely the manufacture of the self-supporting panels, so that the methods of mass production can be used. Subsequent laying of electrical cables under the panels is also possible.
Building boards with an outer layer made of mosaic stones or plates, with a pressure-distributing intermediate layer and with an insulating layer made of foamed styrene polymers are known per se (DE-GM 1 869 140). These building boards are mainly used for floors, but they can also be used to clad walls on the inside and outside of buildings and as ceiling cladding. The laying of tiles has not been considered and how the actual technical ent shows that this font did not influence the laying technique of tiles.
Das Gleiche gilt für ein weiteres bekanntes Fertigbauelement (DE-GM 19 83 233).In the production of components that consist of a large number of ceramic plates, it is known (DE-GM 19 90 790) to use a rubber grid plate with protruding webs in order to determine the joint distances between the individual plates before they are mortared. and the concrete layer on the back of the slabs are combined to form a larger slab. These panels can be used as curtain elements for facades, but they are not suitable for facilitating the tiling of bathrooms, for example. The same applies to another known prefabricated component (DE-GM 19 83 233).

Die Einhängenasen 10 bestehen aus Restinseln der Versteifungsstege 4.To prepare for tiling work in buildings, panels 15 (FIG. 5) are produced, and for this purpose stiffened plates 1 that can be coupled to one another serve as a shape (FIG. 1). The shape 1 has
To produce a
The form 1 described is suitable for holding the
For the intended purpose, the rigid foam panel must have a high load-bearing capacity, and fine-pored polystyrene is suitable for this. This material is inherently rigid with little flexibility and pressure-resistant. Nevertheless, the weight is relatively low and is approximately 930 g / m 2 with a plate thickness of 2 cm. The total weight of a TafeL manufactured of about 0.75 m 2 is only 8 kg.
In Fig. 3 a type of attachment of the
Zur zusätzlichen Befestigung können außerdem die bereits beschriebenen Verankerungsstifte 13 verwendet werden.5 shows how a wall can be tiled despite the presence of interfering
Fig. 6 shows the manufacture of an opening for a conduit, a socket or the like. At the previously marked point, a weakening of the affected
In general, the area to be tiled will not match the panel size, so panels must be cut and put together. As far as this can be done along the joints between the tiles, there are no difficulties; but it is also easily possible to cut the board across the
If the surface to be tiled is covered by the tile or tiles, the joints between the tiles are filled with putty, unless this has already been done in the factory.
The boards are also suitable for tiling according to the type of prefabricated construction, i.e. with the inclusion of lines, pipes, sockets and the like. In this case, it is expedient to back-mold the tiles inserted in a mold with the rigid foam reaction mass, taking into account the components mentioned.
