Adjustable folding landing net / scoop landing net

Adjustable folding landing net, also known as a scoop landing net. It is mainly used to net the fish caught with the fishing rod in order to land them as quickly, safely and gently as possible.

The idea was preceded by a thought that was intended to help sharpen an adjustable folding landing net with the properties of good stability and a force-locking locking mechanism in the positioning of the net bag landing net basket, once in a parallel position and the other time in two next different shovel positions.

This has clearly been achieved with the locking mechanism, the connecting screws and the grooves on the support piece as well as the grooves on the landing net legs.

The locking mechanism is advantageous because the locking springs have a long and precise fit on the grooves on the support piece and on the landing net legs, which means that a high load capacity is achieved. If handled correctly, it is practically impossible for the landing net arms to disengage or fold down automatically. The sliding parts built into the adjustable folding landing net are subject to little wear. The landing net therefore lasts longer and is therefore less harmful to the environment.

Advantages of the scoop position on the adjustable folding landing net: If a landing net without an angled net bag basket is submerged under the water surface near steeply sloping banks to retrieve the hooked fish, the net bag opening closes almost completely (as shown in Figure 9). With an angled net bag basket, on the other hand, the net bag remains much more open, depending on the degree of the angle of the landing net arms (Figure 10). This has the advantage that the fish to be retrieved does not come into contact with the net bag too early, but also not too often, which helps to net the fish in a much shorter time, more safely and with less stress.
