Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine kostengünstige und vor allen Dingen umweltfreundliche Bauweise von sehr leichten, flächigen Bauteilen in Sandwichbauweise, bei dem die obere und untere Decklage aus Holz, der Sandwichkern aus parallel geordneten, rechtwinklig mit den Decklagen verklebten Gräserstielen zum Beispiel Stroh, besteht.The invention relates to a cost-effective and, above all, environmentally friendly construction method of very light, flat components in a sandwich construction, in which the upper and lower cover layers are made of wood, the sandwich core is made of grass stalks, for example straw, arranged in parallel and glued at right angles to the cover layers.

Im Flugzeug- und Fahrzeugbau geht es alleine um die Gewichtsoptimierung der einzelnen Bauteile. Der Sandwich besteht dabei in der Regel aus faserverstärkten Kunststoffdecklagen und einem Kern aus Hartschaum oder Honeycombwaben. In dieser Sandwichplatte werden verschiedene Kunststoffe verarbeitet, die bei der Produktion und Verarbeitung Schadstoffe freisetzen. Diese Bauweise ist schwerer,von geringerer Festigkeit und teurer als die erfindungsgemäße Sandwichplatte. Die erfindungsgemäße Naturstoffsandwichplatte, mit der auch gewölbte Flachen herstellbar sind, weist außerordentlich große Biegefestigkeit, Biegesteifigkeit und Trittfestigkeit auf. Die hohe Trittfestigkeit beruht auf die jjn Faserrichtung der sich gegenseitig stützenden Stiele wirkenden Kraft und auf die, verglichen mit Kunststoffsandwichplatten gleichen Gewichts, drei bis viermal dickeren Decklagen (geringes spezifisches Gewicht von Holz).Furthermore, sandwich panels made of natural materials are known (DE-OS 31 00 094), in which the core consists of balsa wood blocks.
