Hierbei bereiten insbesondere solche Verbindungen große Probleme, bei denen eine Mehrzahl von Funktionen, beispielsweise neben dem Signalhorn der Fahrtrichtungsanzeiger und der Scheibenwischer oder dergl. vom Lenkrad aus gesteuert werden sollen und außerdem eine Gassack-Aufprall-Schutzein richtung installiert ist. Bei den bekannten Verbindern dieser Art werden die zu verbindenden Leitungen wahlweise entweder mit einer Buchse und einem Stiftstecker versehen oder direkt miteinander verlötet.
