Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a method for producing Insulating material made from renewable raw materials, ins special wool like sheep's wool, made and with a Boron solution is treated.
The purpose of treatment with a boron solution is to isolate the iso liermaterial safe against fire and pest infestation, such as Moth or mold. So far the insulating material for this after its processing Mats or sheets treated with the boron solution. Here the boron solution is applied to the surface of the mats or Sprayed webs. There is therefore only one ver equally weak surface protection against fire driving, moth feeding or mold growth. Also requires the spraying process required a high level of monitoring to ensure complete surface coverage. A Another disadvantage is the fact that due to le weak surface protection a stretching or Extension of the insulation material only within narrow limits zen is possible without the necessary protection damage.
Based on this, it is therefore the task of the present the invention, while avoiding the disadvantages of the bishe solutions impregnate the insulating material improve.
This object is achieved in that the insulating material al immersed in a boron solution bath in the loose state becomes.
The impregnation that can be achieved in the immersion process and thus the protection associated with this is advantageous through and through. Still, he requires it immersion processes according to the invention have no significant value wall. The loose insulation material only needs this to be thrown into a bath, which is essential is to be accomplished as an all-round review hen a mat made of insulating material. Also the required monitoring effort is comparatively ge ring, since the immersion process according to the invention is automatic complete, complete wetting of the insulating mat rials results. The measures according to the invention result therefore a comparatively high level of security. In addition is it due to the dip impregnation according to the invention and thus of thorough protection even without it further possible, one made of such impregnated material to pull the existing mat in the width or length without unprotected areas can arise. The invent Measures according to the invention are therefore primarily from there special advantage where the insulating material as a stuffing mat rial is used or processed into mats, which are fixed, for example, by means of a network, that a width or length variation is possible. in the Connection with this variation can be advantageous achieve a high level of ease of installation. The measures according to the invention therefore also lead to excellent economy.
Advantageous configurations and practical training General measures are in the subclaims Chen specified. So the boron solution bath can be useful have a temperature of 60 ° C. This makes it easier the solution of the boron salt and thus ensures a excellent impregnation.
Another advantageous measure can consist in that the insulating material after processing into a Fleece fixed by means of a net, preferably in one Fishnet stocking is included. This measure results in a particularly high variability, with that of the superordinate The advantages associated with the solution are particularly good for tra come.
Further useful training and advantageous Ausge The main measures are in the rest specified subclaims and from the following the example description recognizable.
The following is an embodiment of the invention explained in more detail with reference to the drawing. The drawing shows is a schematic view of an ISO protective mat.
The insulating mat 1 shown in the drawing consists of a sheet-like fleece 2 made of insulating material, which is fi xed by a net stocking 3 surrounding it. The fixation with a net results in a high variability in length and width without changing the thickness at the same time. In the example shown, the net forming the net stocking 3 is in the form of a diagonal net, ie with meshes with diagonals parallel and transverse to the side flanks of the mat, which results in a high variability ratio in the order of 50-60%, as indicated by the latitudes b and B respectively. The clear mesh size can be about 50 mm.
The insulating material forming the fleece 2 is made of renewable raw materials, such as new wool from sheep, for reasons of environmental compatibility and to ensure complete harmlessness in terms of health. Flax or jute are also conceivable. These materials must be made fire-proof by treatment with boron salt and, if it is a protein-containing material such as wool, must also be made safe against pest infestation, such as moth or mold.
For this purpose, the insulating material forming the fleece 2 is immersed in a bath, containing a boron solution, in the loose state, ie even before the fleece is manufactured. This results in a continuous wetting, so that a high level of safety is achieved regardless of any type of stretching. To accomplish the so-called immersion impregnation, the insulating material can be thrown into a tub containing a boron solution in a condition that is loose, or in the case of heavily soiled material after carrying out a washing process, and immersed there so that it is thoroughly wetted. The boron salt solution is expediently heated to 60 ° C., which ensures a good solution of the boron salt. For this purpose, the bath containing the bath can simply be provided with a suitable heating device.
This in the manner described above in the immersion process impregnated material is then dried. Here the dipped material can be squeezed out and then be stored. The drying time can be checked shorten hot air treatment.
The dried material can be in a manner known per se to a mat-shaped fleece of the kind indicated at 2 are processed. The fleece thickness d can be about 15 cm wear. This thickness changes with a variation of Don't width. Only the specific changes Basis weight.
