Abstract

The fungicidal agent comprises lactic acid dimethylamide (I) in combination with Triforine (II) and a surface active material such as polyoxyethylene - fatty acid ester, polyoxyethylene fatty alcohol ether, alkyl sulphonates and aryl sulphonates. The fungicidal agent pref. contains 10-30% Triforine, 60-80% lactic acid dimethylamide and 3-20 % of a surface active agent. USE/ADVANTAGE - The agents are effective with ornamental plants and in fruit culture and against mildew on grains, cucumbers, vines and hops. The lactic acid dimethylamide is used as a replacement for DMF which facilitates uptake of the Triforine without the high toxic risk factor of DMF.

Description

Der im Handel befindliche Wirkstoff Triforine hat sich als hochwirksames Fungicid erwiesen. Unter der Bezeichnung Saprol ist er Handelsprodukt.The commercial active ingredient Triforine has proven to be a highly effective fungicide. Under the label Saprol is a commercial product.

Das Problem des Wirkstoffs zu seinem Einsatz als Fungicid bestand in seiner Formulierung. Es sind deshalb keine hochwirksamen Suspenssionspulver bekannt. Der Wirkstoff kommt nur in Form eines flüssigen Emulsionskonzentrats 190 g/l Triforine zum Einsatz. Als Lösungsmittel und als Schiene zum Eintritt des Wirkstoffs in die Pflanze dient Dimethylformamid (DMF). Als Netzmittel werden die technisch üblichen Netzmittel wie Naphtalinsulfonate oder Oleate verwendet. Es hat sich nun gezeigt, besonders bei gezielten toxikologischen Untersuchungen, daß das Lösungsmittel DMF einen großen toxikologischen Risikofak­ tor darstellt. Ob dies nur auf DMF oder DMF plus Triforine oder DMF plus Triforinmetabolithen zurückzuführen ist, sei dahin­ gestellt.
