Abstract

A plastic sealing strip is described which has an applied polyester layer for improved resistance against aggressive materials. The layer has a thickness of only 0.1 mm and can be sprayed on to the plastic sealing strip. A layer can be applied over two overlapping strips or can form an intermediate layer (13,14) between the sealing strips (10,11,12) and a weldable outer layer (15,16,17). Dabei ist man sich bewußt, daß auch Polyethylen nur eine relative Abdichtung gewährleistet. Einige Stoffe durchdringen in gewissen Raten auch Polyethylen.
