Abstract

A diaphragm for a loudspeaker is to be constructed in such a manner that its production is simplified and the sound of the loudspeaker is improved. The diaphragem (5) consists of a first plastic foil (5a) used for form stabilisation, which is lined with a second foil (5b) used for damping partial vibrations. Particularly for a cone diaphragm for a loudspeaker for a television receiver. <IMAGE>

Description

In the case of a cone loudspeaker, the membrane is on the back end via a centering membrane with the voice coil and at its front end over a bead with the basket of the Speaker connected. The centering membrane and the bead cause the membrane to move in the axial direction of the speaker chers to generate the sound pressure as freely as possible can move, but in the radial direction of the speaker ge leads, i.e. in this direction practical or possible makes no movement. The membrane must be in front of it whose peripheral edge is connected to the bead.

The sound quality of a speaker is among others rem of the perfect functioning of the centering membrane and the bead and the behavior of the membrane itself gig.

The invention has for its object the membrane for train a speaker so that on the one hand the up wall for gluing the membrane with the bead reduced and the sound quality of the speaker is increased.

This task is by the He described in claim 1 finding solved. Advantageous developments of the invention are described in the subclaims.

In the solution according to the invention, the two thus meet Foils that together form the membrane, each one for itself different tasks. The first, preferably made of polycar bonat existing film with a relatively high elasticity modul takes on the task of the necessary form stabilization lization of the membrane. It gives the membrane the for a stiffness necessary for distortion-free reproduction. The  second, laminated film is as thermal polyurethane Foil designed and serves to dampen partial swine the membrane. It has one compared to the first slide much smaller modulus of elasticity. Through this two lilah gen membrane can meet the requirements of the form stability of the membrane and on the other hand to the damping the partial vibrations are met so that the sound quality of the speaker is increased. The second, thermi cal foil preferably also extends over the outer Edge area of the membrane and can therefore advantageously be white se to simplify the gluing process of the bead with the Membrane can also be used. The thermal second film is then used in the area of the membrane for insulation Examination of the partial vibrations and in the edge area additionally for a heat sealing process to attach the bead to the Membrane. The membrane according to the invention is particularly suitable net for a cone speaker for a television receiver.

Darin zeigenThe invention is based on the drawing of an embodiment example explained. Show in it

Fig. 1 den Aufbau eines Konuslautsprechers und Fig. 1 shows the structure of a cone speaker and

Fig. 2 shows a section of Fig. 1 at "A" .

Fig. 1 shows a speaker with the basket 1 , the magnet 2 , the voice coil 3 , the centering membrane 4 , the cone-shaped membrane 5 and the bead 6th The centering membrane 4 and the bead 6 are each connected to the edge of the membrane 5 by a heat sealing process or by ultrasonic welding. The inner edge of the centering membrane 4 is connected to the voice coil 3 and the outer edge of the bead 6 to the basket 1 .

Fig. 2 zeigt den Aufbau der Membran 5. Fig. 2 shows the structure of the diaphragm 5. The membrane 5 consists of a first film 5 a of relatively great thickness of approximately 250 μm made of polycarbonate with an elastic modulus of approximately 2 × 10 3 N / mm 2 . On the front, ie the surface of the film 5 a pointing in the direction of sound emission, the second film 5 b is vapor-deposited. The film 5 b is a thermal polyurethane film with a thickness of about 50 microns and an elasticity module of 10 ... 500 N / mm 2 . The second film 5 b serves essentially to dampen the partial vibrations of the membrane and in the upper edge region and at the same time to produce the gluing process between the bead 6 and the membrane 5 .

The starting material for the membrane, ie a film according to FIG. 2, has a large curvature for a deep-drawing operation and is therefore perfectly suitable, in particular, for cone membranes.
