Description

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Reinigen von Kratzenbeschlägen an Karden und Krempeln. Es ist bekannt, daß Kratzenwalzen mittels einer Düse, die durch einen Schlauch mit einem Vakuumfilterkessel verbunden ist, gereinigt werden können. Hierbei wird meist eine abgeflachte Breitschlitzdüse über die Oberfläche der Walzen geführt. Die Kratzenwalze soll so von Faserverklumpungen, Nissen, Samenkörnern usw., die den Kardierprozess erheblich stören, gereinigt werden. Eine gründliche Reinigung ist auch bei jedem Sortimentswechsel notwendig. Spezielle Fasern und Mischungen bilden Verklumpungen, die fest in den Kratzenzähnen verhakt sind. Diese Verklumpungen lassen sich nicht durch Besaugen reinigen und müssen umständlich manuell ausgekratzt werden.The invention relates to a device for cleaning of scraper fittings on cards and cards. Erfindungsgemäß geschieht dies durch gleichzeitiges Blasen mit Druckluft und Besaugen an dem zu reinigenden Punkt der Karden- oder Krempelwalzenoberfläche. Der eng gebündelte Blasstrahl wird vorzusweise unter einem bestimmten Winkel zur Tangente der Walze in den Rücken der Kratzenzähne gerichtet. Die festsitzenden Verklumpungen werden durch den Blasstrahl unterspült und angehoben, sodaß sie vom Saugstrahl erfasst werden können. Durch die feine Bündelung des Blasstrahls kann die Energie auf einen kleineren Bereich der Kratzenwalze wirken, als dies mit einer Saugdüse möglich wäre. Auf diese Weise ist es möglich, auch stark in den Kratzenzähnen haftende Kunststoffverklumpungen zu lösen und die Putzarbeit an der Krempel zu vereinfachen. Es ist auch möglich, eine solche Reinigungseinrichtung permanent an der Kratzenwalzenunterseite einer Krempel arbeiten zu lassen. Die Einheit reversiert langsam parallel zur Walzenachse während des Betriebes der Krempel. Durch die hohe Geschwindigkeit des Luftstroms kommt es selbst bei Geschwindigkeiten der Kratzenwalzenoberfläche von über 1000 m/min noch zu einer guten Reinigungswirkung.
