Abstract

The system controls the level of a vehicle part carried by a hydropneumatic spring using valves located in the inlet and outlet lines of hydraulic cylinders. Each valve (5,7) has an electromagnetic drive as operating device. Level sensors (13) are mecahnical transducers producing electrical signals describing position deviations. Between each level sensor and the electromagnetic drive it serves is an electronic signal processing stage (16). Each hydraulic cylinder (1) has at least two valves. The level sensors may be proximity switches and each has a delay circuit assigned to it in the processing stages. The delay is 5-7 seconds.
