Abstract

1. A portable lamp, for example a torch, flashlight or hand-held searchlight with a bulb (14) and a concave mirror reflector (12) which is disposed in a lamp head (10) and a battery container (30), whereby the bulb (14) has an axially operating stop member (16) and whereby the luminous element (54) of the bulb (14) is at a predetermined accurately set distance from this stop (16) for example by means of a flange base bulb (14) which has a prefocus flange base P13,5s (miniature flange base) (17) whereby the bulb (14) is inserted into a bulb holder (34) base part (38) first characterized in that the lamp head (10) with concave mirror reflector (12, 76, 84) is axially adjustable and the battery container (30) has a stop flange (90) which abuts against a stop surface (70) of the lamp head (10) or of the concave mirror reflector (12, 76, 84), whereby in this position the luminous element (54) is disposed exactly in the focal range (4, 86) of the concave mirror reflector (12, 76, 84) the battery container (30) having a guide pin (60) and the lamp head (10) a slit-shaped aperture (64, 65, 68, 69, 92) and/or one or several openings (66, 67, 94) for the axial adjustment of the lamp head (10).
