Abstract

1. Bath support (10) in the form of a casing for holding the bath, which casing is open at the top and is made of heatinsulating light material, especially foam plastic, and has sloping side walls (2, 3, 4, 5) which become farther apart from each other towards the top, characterised in that the bath support (10) is divided along a horizontal dividing plane (6) and the bottom section (11) is able to be placed by at least a part of its height into the upper section (12).

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen Badewannenträger der dem Oberbegriff des Patentanspruchs 1 zugrundeliegenden Art, die in ihrer Funktion in der DE-AS 19 43 650 beschrieben ist.The invention relates to a bathtub support of the type underlying the preamble of patent claim 1, the function of which is described in DE-AS 19 43 650.

Dadurch, daß der Badewannenträger geteilt und die einzelnen Teile ineinander einsetzbar sind, wird ein Teil der Bauhöhe eingespart. Die ineinandergesetzten Teile des Badewannenträgers bilden eine Transportund Lagereinheit, die einen geringeren Raumbedarf aufweist als der fertige Badewannenträger, bei dem die Teile in ihrer Betriebsstellung aufeinandergesetzt sind. Für die einzelnen Teile werden kleinere Schäumformen benötigt als für den ganzen Badewannenträger. Außerdem ist es vorteilhaft, daß der ringförmige obere Teil in der Transport- und Lagerstellung an der Außenseite des unteren Teils anliegt und von diesem abgestützt wird, so daß er gegen Ausbrechen bei Stößen geschützt ist.Because the bathtub support is divided and the individual parts can be inserted into one another, part of the overall height is saved. Der als Ganzes mit 10 bezeichnete Badewannenträger besteht aus einem oben offenen Gehäuse aus einem Schaumkunststoff, welches an der Einbaustelle einer Badewanne in einem Gehäuse angebracht, mit Anschlüssen versehen und gegebenenfalls verfliest wird, und in welches die eigentliche Badewanne nach Abschluß aller Arbeiten, die zu einer Beschädigung der Badewanne führen könnten, eingesetzt wird. An einer der einander zugewandten Randflächen des Unterteils 11 und des Oberteils 12 kann ein selbstklebender Klebestreifen 9 vorgesehen sein, der bei gemäß Fig. 2 im Transportzustand befindlichen Teilen 11, 12 abgedeckt ist und durch Abziehen einer Schutzfolie aktiviert werden kann, um die Teile 11, 12 miteinander zu verbinden.The bathtub support 10 is divided along a horizontal dividing plane 6 , i.e. parallel to the base part 1. Claims

1. Bathtub support in the form of a housing which accommodates the bathtub and is open at the top and made of heat-insulating light metal, in particular foamed plastic, with sloping side walls which move away from one another towards the top, characterized in that the bathtub support ( 10 ) is divided in a horizontal dividing plane ( 6 ) and the lower part ( 11 ) can be inserted into the upper part ( 12 ) at least over part of its height.

2. Bathtub support according to claim 1, characterized in that the inner lower edge ( 14 ) of the upper part ( 12 ) in its plan encompasses the outer lower edge ( 13 ) of the lower part ( 11 ).

3. Bath support according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the upper edge of the lower part ( 11 ) and the lower edge of the upper part ( 12 ) have interengaging projections running along the wheels.

4. Bathtub support according to claim 3, characterized in that the projections are formed by shoulders ( 7, 8 ) running along the edges, the edge surfaces adjacent to the shoulder ( 7, 8 ) running parallel to the dividing plane.

5. Bathtub support according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that a self-adhesive layer ( 9 ) is provided on the mutually facing edge surfaces of the lower and upper parts ( 11, 12 ).
