Gewiß hat man diesen Vorteil auch dann, wenn man, wie von Hausfrauen oft geübt, den benötigten Stoff einfach voM unteren Rand des Hemdes abschneidet. Dann muß aber ein Ersatzstück, was aus anderem Stoff besteht, angeht näht werden und der Ersatz und die Flickarbeit ist bei der Wäsche, beim Trocknen und Bügeln sichtbar. Aber auch beim Tragen ist dieser Ersatz sichtbar. Wenn der Stoff für den Kragen, wie es richtig ist, in der Kettrichtung verarbeitet werden soll, kann er nicht in ei- nemeinstückigen Streifen aus dem Hemd herausgeschnit-" ten werden und muß aus zwei Teilen mit einer Quernaht in der Mitte zusammengesetzt werden.
