Aus der USA.-Patentschrift 1721666 sind einteilige Transportsicherungen für Tubenkappen bekannt, denen das Deckteil über eine Feder als Verschlußglied an die Kappe gepreßt wird. Ferner ist eine selbsttätige Verschlußvorrichtung für Tuben auch aus der Schweizer Patentschrift 272 443 bekannt, die ebenfalls einteilig ausgebildet ist und mit einer Feder in die Verschlußstellung gebracht wird. Diese beiden Verschlüsse arbeiten in gleicher Weise. Dreht man zum Zwecke der Tubeninhaltentnahme den Ventilteller mit dem Fingernagel in Schlitz 11 bis die Feder in die tiefsten Kerben 5 einrastet, so wird beim Drücken auf die Tube der Inhalt schlauchartig herausquellen. Der flache Ansatz, also die Feder 3 am Ventilteller 2, ist an den beiden Schenkeln 3 V-förmig ausgebildet, wodurch ein leichtes Einsetzen des Ventilkörpers in die Tubenkappe erreicht wird.
