Description
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung und ein Verfahren zum Schleifen von Längsabschnitten von Wellen, insbesondere zum Unrundschleifen der Nockenkurven und Nockenwellen, mit zwei Werkstückhaltern für Wellen, die auf zwei parallel zueinander verlaufenden Werkstückvorschubführungen längs deren Längsachse Z1, Z2 verschiebbar sind und Aufspann- und Drehantriebsmittel für die Wellen um Werkstückachsen umfassen, und mit zwei Werkzeugeinheiten für Schleifwerkzeuge, die zwischen den beiden Werkstückvorschubführungen verfahrbar sind und Drehantriebsmittel für Spindeln sowie auf den Spindeln angeordnete Werkzeuge umfassen, die jeweils zwischen einer ersten Arbeitsposition zum Bearbeiten einer in einem der Werkstückhalter eingespannten Welle und einer zweiten Arbeitsposition zum Bearbeiten einer in dem anderen Werkstückhalter eingespannten Welle verfahrbar sind.The invention relates to a device and a method for grinding longitudinal sections of shafts, in particular for non-circular grinding of the cam curves and camshafts, with two workpiece holders for shafts, which can be moved along two longitudinal axis Z 1 , Z 2 and clamping and Rotary drive means for the shafts around workpiece axes, and with two tool units for grinding tools, which can be moved between the two workpiece feed guides and rotary drive means for spindles and tools arranged on the spindles, each between a first working position for machining a shaft clamped in one of the workpiece holders and a second working position for machining a shaft clamped in the other workpiece holder.
Der vorliegenden Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrund, eine Vorrichtung vorzuschlagen, die für Wellen mit im wesentlichen untereinander gleichartigen zu bearbeitenden Längsabschnitten geeignet ist, insbesondere für das Unrundschleifen von Nockenkurven einer Nockenwelle, sowie geeignete Verfahren zum Betrieb einer solchen Vorrichtung vorzuschlagen. Die Lösung hierfür besteht in einer Vorrichtung der genannten Art, bei der eine Werkzeugeinheit mit einer Schleifscheibe zum Vorschleifen bestückt ist und die andere Werkzeugeinheit mit einer Schleifscheibe zum Fertigschleifen bestückt ist. Hiermit werden Vorschleif- und Fertigschleifoperationen in günstiger Weise ohne ein Umspannen der Nockenwellen zwischen den beiden Operationen möglich. Aufgrund der notwendig einzuhaltenden Reihenfolge zwischen Vor- und Fertigschleifen an den einzelnen Nocken kommt es hierbei zu einer Staffelung der Bearbeitungszyklen der in den beiden Werkstückhaltern eingespannten Nocken wellen.The present invention lies based on the task of proposing a device for waves with those to be processed which are essentially identical to one another longitudinal sections is particularly suitable for the non-circular grinding of cam curves of a camshaft, as well as suitable ones Propose a method for operating such a device.
