Abstract

Description

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Fußbandage zur Entlastung und Unterstützung des Fußlängsgewölbes einer Person. Die erfindungsgemäße Fußbandage verfügt über einen umlaufenden bzw. in sich geschlossenen Knöchelgurt, der aus einem im Wesentlichen undehnbaren bzw. unelastischen Gewebematerial gefertigt ist und um den Umfang des Sprunggelenks einer zu behandelnden Person angelegt werden kann. Mit anderen Worten umgibt also der Knöchelgurt im angelegten Zustand der Fußbandage das Sprunggelenk der Person. Das erste Ende des Fußgurts ist dabei an einer ersten Stelle des Knöchelgurts befestigt, insbesondere im Bereich des Innenknöchels, wohingegen das zweite Ende des Fußgurts an einer zweiten Stelle des Knöchelgurts befestigt ist, insbesondere im Bereich des Außenknöchels. Mit anderen Worten liegen sich also die beiden Befestigungsstellen, an denen der Fußgurt am Knöchelgurt befestigt ist, im geschlossenen Zustand des Fußgurts diametral gegenüber, so dass der Fußgurt eine Art Schlaufe ausbildet, die sich im angelegten Zustand der Fußbandage ausgehend von dem Knöchelgurt um den Fuß und insbesondere durch das Fußlängsgewölbe quer hindurch erstreckt, um dieses zu unterstützen.Furthermore, the foot bandage according to the invention has a foot strap attached to the ankle strap, which has a first end and a second end and is made of an elastic fabric material. Als Gewebematerialien für Fußgurt eignen sich insbesondere Gewebematerialien, die eine Federkonstante im Bereich zwischen 0,05 und 3 kN/m und vorzugsweise zwischen 0,1 und 0,9 kN/m aufweisen. Demgegenüber weist das Gewebematerial des Knöchelgurts eine derart große Federkonstante auf, dass der Knöchelgurt insbesondere im Vergleich zum Fußgurt als nicht-dehnbar betrachtet werden kann. Da jedoch die meisten Gewebematerialien eine gewisse Eigenelastizität aufweisen, selbst wenn sie als im Wesentlichen nicht-dehnbar gelten, ist es erfindungsgemäß vorgesehen, dass die Federkonstante des Knöchelgurts zumindest 10-mal, vorzugsweise zumindest 50-mal, so groß ist wie die Federkonstante des Gewebematerials des Fußgurts. Dies gelingt dadurch, dass der Knöchelgurt aus einem im Wesentlichen undehnbaren bzw. nicht-elastischen Gewebematerial gefertigt ist, so dass der Knöchelgurt durch die in dem Fußgurt herrschenden Zugkräfte nicht nach unten in Richtung des Fußes gezogen werden kann. Da die Fußbandage und insbesondere deren Knöchel- und Fußgurt nicht mit dem Sprunggelenk und dem Fuß verklebt werden, da die Gurte nicht-klebend sind und keinerlei haftende Beschichtung aufweisen, eignet sich die erfindungsgemäße Fußbandage im Unterschied zu Tape-Verbänden zur dauerhaften Therapie, da anders als bei Tape-Verbänden die Haut nicht durch etwaige Klebematerialen gereizt oder gar geschädigt werden kann. In Abhängigkeit der lichten Weite der Schlaufe des Fußgurts gelingt es somit, das Fußlängsgewölbe mehr oder weniger stark zu entlasten, da je nach Weite der Schlaufe des Fußgurts die von demselben auf das Fußlängsgewölbe übertragenen Entlastungskräfte variieren.
