The invention relates to a method for membrane filtration in liquids using a fiber bundle Capillary membranes that are cast into a headpiece and an open end to a permeate collection space of the header exhibit. The fiber bundle is put in a filter Liquid immersed or from the river to be filtered liquid flows around, with a pressure difference between the filtering liquid and the permeate collection space as well as one at the open end of the capillary membranes flowing permeate withdrawn from the permeate collection space becomes.
In a method known from WO 98/28 066 A1 Membrane filtration is made with a capillary fiber bundle membranes worked that end between two headers are clamped on one side. To remove deposits the fiber bundle is gassed with air, which through an inner half of the fiber bundle arranged mouthpiece fed becomes. The cleaning effect of the inside of the fiber bundle rising gas bubbles is limited. Under sweat filtering conditions, e.g. B. in fibrous or residues adhering firmly to the membrane surfaces not be prevented that Ab Build up storage and grow into the fiber bundle.
The invention has for its object a method for Specify membrane filtration with which even under difficult Filtration conditions Deposits in the fiber bundle are effective eliminated or the formation of such storage can be limited.

The object of the invention and solution to this problem is a method for membrane filtration in liquids using a fiber bundle made of capillary membranes which have a poured into a head piece and a permeate collection space of the head piece open end and a closed end without tension freely movable,
wherein the fiber bundle is immersed in a liquid to be filtered or flows around the liquid to be filtered,
a pressure difference between the liquid to be filtered and the permeate collection space being generated and a permeate flowing off at the open end of the capillary membranes being drawn off from the permeate collection space,
wherein in order to remove deposits in the fiber bundle, a fluid is supplied at least at intervals through a mouthpiece protruding into the fiber bundle and exerts shear forces on the deposits associated with a cleaning action, and
a liquid or a liquid / gas mixture being used as the fluid.
Water is preferably used as the liquid and liquid a water / air mixture is used. A preferred application of the inventive method is the water treatment.
The invention begins with the consideration that the Kapil arm membranes of the fiber bundle at one end only Headpiece are cast and that the fiber bundle its other end can be moved freely in the liquid to be filtered ends. That to eliminate Deposits in the fiber bundle in the interior of the fiber bundle Introduced fluid flows through the fiber bundle in one defined flow from the inside out and flows in Longitudinal direction of the capillary membranes. Doing so move the capillary membranes in the liquid, causing the detachment supported by membrane vouchers. At the free end of the Fiber bundle is an effective removal of dissolved Dirt particles ensured. This is advantageous Context also that the fiber bundle through the central entry of the fluid expands radially and thereby a space is created between the capillary membranes an effective solids discharge is guaranteed. The According to the invention, the cleaning effect is thereby still ver improves that as a fluid a liquid or a liquid speed / gas mixture is used. Preferably with a high flow rate from the mouthpiece ingressing fluid generates an impulse and shear forces remarkable cleaning effect. By using a Liquid or a liquid / gas mixture succeeds it, also the one immediately following the head piece Fiber bundle area largely free of deposits hold or remove residues from this area.
In a further embodiment, the invention teaches that the Fluid composition, especially the gas content within of the fluid, changed in operation and thereby the Reini effect is specifically influenced. Another execution Form of the method according to the invention provides that Water or a water / air mixture alternating with Air can be used as a fluid. Furthermore, the fluid Cleaning chemicals are added at least temporarily.
The fluid used and the mouthpiece are on top of each other vote. According to a preferred embodiment of the Erfin with interchangeable mouthpieces Length and / or with different nozzle outlet geo metrics worked. In the context of the invention can close Lich a mouthpiece with separate channels for liquid and gas are used, the mouthpiece being designed in this way is that the liquid and the gas at different Sections and / or with different flow out direction into the fiber bundle.
Es zeigen schematischIn the following, the invention is based on only one Exemplary embodiment illustrating the drawing. It show schematically
Fig. 1 ein im Tauchbetrieb eingesetztes Membranfilter zur Durchführung des erfindungsgemäßen Ver fahrens, Fig. 1 is a employed in immersion operation membrane filter for carrying out the invention Ver driving,
Fig. 2 also operate according to the invention operated membrane filter with a liquid-flowed filter space.
The basic structure of the membrane filter shown in the figures includes a head piece 1 , which has a permeate collecting space 2 with a permeate outlet 3 , and at least a fiber bundle 4 made of capillary membranes 5 , which are closed at one end 6 and on the other side with an open one end to the permeate 2 in the head piece are molded. 1 The capillary membranes 5 are preferably ultrafiltration membranes or microfiltration membranes, the diameter of which is less than 5 mm. They preferably have diameters between 0.5 and 3 mm. The capillary membranes are surrounded by the liquid 7 to be filtered. The filtration takes place on the basis of a transmembrane pressure difference, which can be generated by an overpressure in the liquid to be filtered and / or a negative pressure on the permeate side. The clarified liquid (permeate) flows in the capillary membranes 5 from the permeate collection space 2 and is withdrawn from the permeate collection space.
In the embodiment shown in Fig. 1, the fiber bundle is immersed in the liquid 7 to be filtered. The capillary membranes 5 cast at one end in the head piece 1 are freely movable at their other closed end 6 and perform more or less pronounced lateral movements under the effect of the turbulence prevailing in the liquid and the currents occurring. To limit the lateral movements, a basket 8 is placed on the head piece 1 .
In the embodiment shown in Fig. 2, the Mem branfilter has a filter chamber 9 , which is traversed by the liquid 7 to be filtered. The flow into the filter chamber 9 takes place through bores 10 in the head piece 1 in a section outside the fiber bundle 4 . The liquid speed 7 is essentially guided past the outside of the fiber bundle 4 and flows in the longitudinal direction of the capillary membranes 5 .
To remove deposits in the fiber bundle 4 , a fluid 11 is supplied at least at intervals through a mouthpiece 12 protruding into the fiber bundle. The mouthpiece 12 extends within the fiber bundle 4 essentially parallel to the capillary membranes 5 and has a tubular section with circumferential bores 13 . However, it can also be designed, for example, as an annular gap nozzle from which the fluid 11 emerges with a radial orientation. A liquid, in particular water, or a liquid / gas mixture, in particular a water / air mixture, is used as the fluid 11 . Due to the emerging pulse and shear forces, the fluid 11 exerts a cleaning effect on deposits within the fiber bundle 4 . Cover layers that have formed on the membrane surface during membrane filtration are cleaned and discharged from the fiber bundle 4 with the fluid flow.
Due to the fluid composition, especially the gas content in the liquid can affect the cleaning effect become. It is within the scope of the invention, the mixture to control the ratio of water and air and the fluid to change the composition of the company in order to To influence cleaning effect. Furthermore, there is Possibility of water or a water / air mixture in each case Use alternation with air as a fluid. Finally, you can cleaning fluid is at least temporarily added to the fluid be set.
The mouthpiece 12 of the membrane filter is exchangeable and can be replaced by another mouthpiece, which differs in length and / or the nozzle outlet geometry. There is also the possibility of using mouthpieces 12 with separate channels for liquid and gas, so that the liquid and the gas are introduced into the fiber bundle at different sections and / or with different flow orientations.
