Abstract

A power source entirely formed on a base material that has a particular physical configuration comprising: a. a semiconductor circuit layer mounted on said base material to implement the power handling functions; b. a polymer based battery composed of an ionically conductive gel polymer electrode doped on one surface with a polymeric anode and doped on its opposite surface with a polymeric cathode; c. a solar energy conversion means for supplying electric current to said battery; and d. a transparent cover that protects the said energy conversion medium.
