The recess 133 is sized and shaped to fit the size and shape of the cuff 122. Also, the radial dimension of the recess 133 enables the sealing ring 130 to be nested from the radially distal end 123 of the flange 122 and to the radially proximal end 124 of the flange 122. In the illustrated embodiment, the cuff 122 extends in a horizontal direction. Both the upper and lower surfaces of the flange 122 extend in the horizontal direction. Therefore, the sealing element can be assembled more conveniently and firmly, and the sealing element is not easy to be separated from the flanging 122. The existing inner pan 120 having the flange 122 is usually formed by bending the edge of the inner pan 120 to form the flange 122. Bending portions 125 are formed after bending, and the sealing ring 130 can be partially sleeved on the bending portions 125, so that the installation stability of the sealing ring 130 is further improved.

The sealing ring 130 is in interference fit with the lining 111 in the closed position, which can form a better sealing effect. That is, the seal ring 130 can be brought into contact with the liner 111 by interference fit when the lid body 110 is closed.
Generally, the cover body 110 is generally provided with a steam passage to discharge steam inside the cooking space to the atmosphere. The inner liner 111 may be provided with a vent 112 to facilitate the formation of a steam channel.
In this embodiment, the removable cover 240 may not be provided, and a seal may be formed between the gasket 130 and the liner 111. Second embodiment
A cooking appliance according to a second embodiment will be described below with reference to fig. 3 and 4. The cooking appliance of the second embodiment has the same structure and/or configuration as the cooking appliance of the first embodiment except for the structure of the lid body and the packing. Accordingly, elements of the second embodiment that have the same function as elements of the first embodiment will be numbered identically herein and will not be described and/or illustrated in detail for the sake of brevity.
As shown in fig. 3 and 4, the cover body 210 of the present embodiment further includes a detachable cover 240 on the lower side of the liner 111, compared to the cover body 110 of the first embodiment. The removable cover 240 is removably mounted to the liner 111 from the underside. The seal ring 130 abuts against the detachable cover 240, specifically, a lower surface of the detachable cover 240 when the cover body 210 is closed. The sealing ring 130 is in interference fit with the detachable cover 240 in the closed position, which can provide a better sealing effect. That is, the seal ring 130 and the detachable cover 240 can abut against each other with an interference fit when the cover body 210 is closed.
In order to enable a tight and secure fit at the bent portion 125, the mounting portion 131 may be provided with a protruding portion 234 protruding upward from the inner surface of the recess 133, the protruding portion 234 abutting against the arc-shaped surface of the bent portion 125 of the inner pan 120.
