Referring to fig. 1, a passenger car disc brake wheel end assembly mainly comprises a brake disc 1, wheel bolts 2, a hub flange 3, a hub bearing assembly 4, a shaft locking nut 5, a spline shaft 6, a brake disc locking bolt 7 and an ABS gear ring 8. The main parts are described in detail as follows:
The hub flange 3 includes a flange body 31 and a hollow boss 32, and the boss 32 is formed to protrude toward the side facing away from the wheel in the axial direction of the flange body 31. Six bolt holes convenient for connecting a wheel are arranged on the flange plate body 31, and the hub flange plate 3 and the wheel (not marked in the figure) are fixedly connected through six wheel bolts 2. The hub flange 3 is sleeved on the spline shaft 6 in a matching way and synchronously rotates along with the spline shaft 6.
In this embodiment, the boss 32 is a stepped shaft structure, and the lower root of the step is provided with a groove 33 in a direction parallel to the axial direction to facilitate the installation of the hub bearing assembly 4.
The brake disc 1 comprises friction discs 12 and a central hub 11 with bolt mounting holes in the middle, the hub 11 protruding slightly beyond the friction discs 12. The 1 suit of brake disc is on the boss of wheel hub ring flange, and in this embodiment, the central hub 11 of brake disc is laminated with the vertical face of the step of wheel hub ring flange 3 to through brake disc locking bolt 7 and wheel hub ring flange 3 fixed connection, along with wheel hub ring flange 3 synchronous rotation. Compared with the prior art, the brake disc 1 has no higher boss in the thickness direction, is small in mass and low in cost, is beneficial to unsprung mass and light weight, and is low in later-stage maintenance and replacement cost.
After the brake disc 1 is installed, one end of the boss 32 of the hub flange, which is far away from the wheel, is installed in the hub bearing assembly 4 in a matching way, so that the smooth rotation of the hub flange 3 is ensured. And the hub bearing assembly 4 is partially inserted into the groove 33 of the hub flange 3. The hub flange 3 and the hub bearing assembly 4 are locked and limited through the spline shaft 6 and the shaft locking nut 5. So that the hub flange 3 and the hub bearing assembly 4 are not displaced axially. In this embodiment, the hub bearing assembly is an independent part, and need not to process mounting boss, mounting end face, mounting hole and screw thread etc. on the part, and processing and later stage maintenance replacement cost are low.
The end of the spline shaft 6 is provided with an ABS gear ring 8 which synchronously rotates with the spline shaft 6. The ABS ring gear is integrated on the spline shaft, and for a non-driving wheel, if the ABS ring gear is damaged, the spline shaft can be directly replaced without replacing the hub bearing assembly, so that the maintenance cost is reduced.
When the hub flange plate is installed, the brake disc 1 and the hub flange plate 3 are fixedly connected together through the brake disc locking bolts 7, then the boss 32 of the hub flange plate 3 is assembled in the hub bearing assembly 4, then the hub flange plate 3 is assembled on the spline shaft 6, and finally the hub flange plate is locked through the shaft locking nut 5. The disassembly process is reversed.
The brake disc 1 with the structure is convenient to mount and dismount, the problem that a wheel nut or a wheel needs to be dismounted firstly in the prior art is solved, the hub bearing assembly 4 only needs to be dismounted firstly during maintenance and replacement, and then the brake disc 1 is dismounted, so that the maintenance convenience is improved.
The foregoing shows and describes the general principles, essential features, and advantages of the invention. It will be understood by those skilled in the art that the present invention is not limited to the above embodiments, and that the principles of the present invention may be applied to any other embodiment without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention. The scope of the invention is defined by the appended claims and equivalents thereof.
