The application discloses a display panel and a display device, the display panel includes: the display film layer is a flexible piece; the cover plate is arranged on one side of the display film layer, the cover plate is made of a light-transmitting material, the cover plate is provided with a folding area, and the folding area is provided with a through hole penetrating along the thickness direction of the cover plate. In the display panel, the display film layer is a flexible piece, the folding area is provided with the through holes penetrating along the thickness direction of the cover plate, and the bending stress of the folding area can be released by arranging the through holes in the folding area, so that folds in the folding area can be prevented, the influence of the folds on visual effect is avoided, and the use experience of a user is improved.

Background
At present, more and more products adopting flexible folding display modules exist, the problem of crease in a bending area exists in the current folding products, crease easily occurs in the bending area in the folding process, the visual effect is seriously influenced, and the experience effect of a user is influenced.

The embodiment of the application aims to provide a display panel and a display device, which are used for solving the problem that a folding area of a folding screen is easy to crease in the folding process.

The folding area is provided with at least one row of through holes, a plurality of through holes are formed in each row of through holes, and the through holes in each row of through holes are distributed at intervals along the width direction of the cover plate.
The folding area is provided with a plurality of rows of through holes, and the plurality of rows of through holes are arranged at intervals along the length direction of the cover plate.

The following description of the embodiments of the present application will be made clearly and fully with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which it is evident that the embodiments described are some, but not all embodiments of the application. All other embodiments, which can be made by those skilled in the art based on the embodiments of the application without making any inventive effort, are intended to be within the scope of the application.
The display panel provided by the embodiment of the application is described in detail below.
As shown in fig. 1 to 4, a display panel according to an embodiment of the present application includes: the display film layer 10 and the cover plate 20, wherein the display film layer 10 may be a flexible member for folding, the cover plate 20 may be disposed on one side of the display film layer 10, the cover plate 20 may be bonded on one side of the display film layer 10 through the optical adhesive layer 11, the cover plate 20 may be a light-transmitting material member, for example, the cover plate 20 may be a polyimide material member, the cover plate 20 has a folding region, the folding region has a through hole 21 penetrating along a thickness direction of the cover plate 20, the through hole 21 may have one or more through holes 21, the through hole 21 may be circular, elliptical or polygonal, bending stress of the folding region may be released through the through hole 21, and crease occurrence in the folding region may be prevented. In the display panel of the present application, the display film layer 10 may be a flexible member, and the folding region may have a through hole 21 penetrating along the thickness direction of the cover plate 20, and the through hole 21 is disposed in the folding region, so that the bending stress of the folding region can be released, crease occurring in the folding region can be prevented, influence of crease on visual effect is avoided, folding performance is improved, bending times of the product is improved, and use experience of a user is improved.
In some embodiments, the through hole 21 may be filled with a filler, which may be a flexible light-transmitting material, and the filler is not connected with the cover plate 20 to form a whole, so as to be beneficial to releasing the bending stress of the folding region. The filler may be a flexible material having a refractive index similar to or the same as that of the cover plate 20, such as silica gel.
In other embodiments, as shown in fig. 1 to 4, the folding region may have a plurality of through holes 21, the plurality of through holes 21 may be spaced apart, and the plurality of through holes 21 may be uniformly spaced apart so as to release bending stress of the folding region, and thus crease of the folding region may be prevented.
Alternatively, the folded region may extend along the width direction of the cover plate 20, the through hole 21 may be a long hole, the through hole 21 may extend along the length direction of the folded region, and the length and width of the through hole 21 may be selected according to actual needs.
In some embodiments, as shown in fig. 2 and 4, the folding region has at least one row of through holes 21, and each row of through holes 21 has a plurality of through holes 21 therein, and the plurality of through holes 21 in each row of through holes 21 may be distributed at intervals along the width direction of the cover plate 20, and have a uniform distribution so as to uniformly release the bending stress of the folding region and prevent the folding region from creasing.
In other embodiments, as shown in fig. 2 and 4, the folded region may have a plurality of rows of through holes 21, the plurality of rows of through holes 21 may be spaced along the length direction of the cover plate 20, the spacing distance between two adjacent rows of through holes 21 may be the same, and the spacing distance between two adjacent rows of through holes 21 may be selected according to practical situations.
Alternatively, as shown in fig. 2 and 4, the interval between adjacent two through holes 21 in each column of through holes 21 is smaller than the length of the through holes 21 in the width direction of the cover plate 20 in order to better release the bending stress of the folded region.
In the embodiment of the present application, as shown in fig. 2 and 4, the folded region has a plurality of rows of through holes 21, and in two adjacent rows of through holes 21, a space region between two adjacent through holes 21 in one row of through holes 21 corresponds to one through hole 21 in the other row of through holes 21, so that two adjacent through holes 21 in one row of through holes 21 and one through hole 21 in the other row of through holes 21 can be arranged in a delta shape, which is convenient for better releasing bending stress of the folded region and preventing crease from occurring in the folded region.
Optionally, as shown in fig. 1, the display panel may further include: the polarizer 30, the polarizer 30 may be disposed between the display film layer 10 and the cover plate 20, the polarizer 30 may be a flexible member, and the polarizer 30 and the cover plate 20 may be bonded by the optical adhesive layer 11.
As shown in fig. 1, the display panel may further include: the heat dissipation layer 40, the heat dissipation layer 40 can be arranged on one side of the display film layer 10 far away from the cover plate 20, the heat dissipation layer 40 can be a flexible piece, and heat dissipation is facilitated through the heat dissipation layer 40, so that temperature rise is prevented.
The display panel may further include: the hardened layer 22, the hardened layer 22 is a light-transmitting material piece, and at least one side of the cover plate 20 is provided with the hardened layer 22, for example, two sides of the cover plate 20 can be respectively provided with the hardened layer 22, and the hardened layer 22 can have protection and supporting functions. The two sides of the cover plate 20 can be respectively provided with a hardening layer 22, and due to the symmetrical structure, the bending neutral layer is positioned at the right center of the cover plate 20, so that the bending deformation of the cover plate 20 is avoided, and the surface crease and cracking risk are reduced. The cover plate 20 may be a polyimide plate, and the hardened layer 22 may be formed by performing a double-sided hardening process on the polyimide plate.
An embodiment of the present application provides a display device including the display panel described in the above embodiment. The display device with the display panel in the embodiment can prevent folds in the folding area, avoid the influence of the folds on the visual effect and improve the use experience of a user.

1. A display panel, comprising:

The through holes are filled with fillers, and the fillers are flexible light-transmitting materials; the filler is a flexible material with the refractive index similar to or the same as the transmittance of the polyimide layer.
2. The display panel of claim 1, wherein the folded region has a plurality of the through holes, the plurality of through holes being spaced apart.
3. The display panel according to claim 1, wherein the folding region extends in a width direction of the cover plate, the through hole is a long hole, and the through hole extends in a length direction of the folding region.

The display panel according to claim 1, wherein the folded region has at least one row of through holes, each row of through holes having a plurality of the through holes therein, the plurality of the through holes in each row of through holes being spaced apart in a width direction of the cover plate.
5. The display panel of claim 4, wherein the folded region has a plurality of rows of through holes spaced apart along a length of the cover plate.
6. The display panel according to claim 4, wherein a pitch between adjacent two of the through holes in each column of the through holes is smaller than a length of the through holes in a width direction of the cover plate.
7. The display panel of claim 4, wherein the folded region has a plurality of columns of through holes, and a space region between two adjacent through holes in one column of through holes corresponds to one through hole in the other column of through holes in two adjacent columns of through holes.
8. The display panel of claim 1, further comprising:
The polaroid is arranged between the display film layer and the cover plate and is a flexible piece; and/or
Further comprises: the heat dissipation layer is arranged on one side, far away from the cover plate, of the display film layer, and the heat dissipation layer is a flexible piece.
