Detailed Description
The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present application will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present application, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are only a part of the embodiments of the present application, and not all of the embodiments. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present application.
In the conventional foldable display device, the aspect ratio before and after folding is changed. For example, the aspect ratio of the foldable display device is 1:1, and the aspect ratio after being folded becomes 1: 0.5. Therefore, the 1:1 display screen before folding needs to be displayed on the 1:0.5 foldable display device. If the 1:1 display screen before folding is displayed on the entire 1:0.5 foldable display device, the display screen may be deformed, i.e., the display effect is poor. If the display screen of 1:1 before folding is displayed on the partial area of the foldable display device of 1:0.5, for example, the display screen of 1:1 before folding is reduced to one fourth in equal proportion and then displayed on the partial area of the foldable display device of 1:0.5, the display screen can be ensured not to be deformed, but the foldable display device of 1:0.5 after folding is partially idle and can not be fully utilized, so that the display screen becomes small and the display effect is poor.
Fig. 1 is a schematic view illustrating a structure of a viewing angle of a foldable display device according to an embodiment of the present application. Fig. 2 is a schematic view of another view of the foldable display device shown in fig. 1. Fig. 3 is a schematic structural diagram of the first secondary screen area of the foldable display device shown in fig. 1 after being folded for the first time. As shown in fig. 1, 2 and 3, the foldable display device provided in the embodiment of the present application includes: a flexible display screen 1, and an auxiliary folding layer 2 corresponding to the flexible display screen 1.
Specifically, the auxiliary folding layer 2 includes a first folding structure 21 configured to assist the flexible display 1 to perform a first folding according to a first dividing line, so that the flexible display 1 after the first folding is divided into a first main screen area 11 and a first auxiliary screen area 12, and an aspect ratio of the first main screen area 11 is equal to an aspect ratio of the flexible display 1 before the first folding. The first boundary line (dashed line in fig. 1) between the first main screen area 11 and the first sub-screen area 12 shown in fig. 1 is only used to illustrate the folded position of the first folding of the flexible display screen 1. In practical applications, the flexible display 1 has no first boundary line in physical structure. The first folding is to fold the four corners of the flexible display 1 inwards according to a first dividing line, so as to form a first main screen area 11 and a first auxiliary screen area 12 formed by the four corners of the flexible display 1 as shown in fig. 3. The thickness of the auxiliary folding layer 2 may be 15mm, may also be 20mm, and may also be other thicknesses, and the application does not specifically limit the thickness of the auxiliary folding layer 2.
The aspect ratio of the first main screen area 11 and the aspect ratio of the flexible display screen 1 before the first folding may both satisfy the range of 1 ± 0.01. 0.01 may be an error due to environmental, process, etc. reasons in practical use.
